3 The Treaties of Rome 1957 In the preambles of the treaty, the member states declare : «to be determined to establish the grounds[ of an ever growing and tighter unification between the European People to be determined to improve the social life of the European countries by abrogating the barriers that divide Europeans ; to have as primary goals the constant improvement of the quality of life of their peoples ; To confirm the solidarity between Europe and the over-seas countries and to develop the prosperity of these countries, in accordance with the Bylaws of the United Nations.» [

7 The quality of life in the EC It is therefore of key importance that,in Europe, the National and European Medical and Scientific societies join their efforts to improve the Women s Health Care at all ages of life.

12 The European Society of Gynecology aims at : Integrating the various aspects of the Gynecological disciplines, being a platform for the exchange of scientific information and of key messages arising from the specialized areas of Gynecology, that may be useful to most practicioners, being at the service of all Gynecologists to help them in their daily practice
