3 1.0 PREMESSA 1.1 IMPORTANZA DEL MANUALE, USO E CONSERVAZIONE DELLO STESSO. Questo manuale Vi aiuterà a conoscere e ad usare con il miglior rendimento il Vostro SISTEMA ALZALETTO PROJECT LEGGERLO ATTENTAMENTE PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE L APPARECCHIATURA. Il manuale è destinato all utilizzatore e/o manutentore del dispositivo ed è considerato parte integrante dello stesso. Il presente manuale ha la funzione di fornire informazioni per un uso corretto del sistema di elevazione ed un appropriata manutenzione, nonché di tutelare la sicurezza dell operatore. A CHI E' INDIRIZZATO Il presente manuale e' indirizzato all'utente dell apparecchiatura, ai responsabili incaricati dello spostamento, installazione, uso, sorveglianza, manutenzione e smantellamento finale della apparecchiatura. FINALITA' DEL MANUALE Il manuale serve per indicare l'utilizzo della apparecchiatura previsto dalle ipotesi di progetto e le caratteristiche tecniche, fornisce istruzioni per lo spostamento, l'installazione adeguata e sicura, il montaggio, la regolazione e l'uso; fornisce informazioni per indirizzare gli interventi di manutenzione, facilita l'ordinazione dei ricambi e fornisce indicazioni circa eventuali rischi residui. RISPETTO DELLA LEGISLAZIONE Unitamente alle regole del presente manuale dovranno essere rispettate le disposizioni legislative specifiche nel campo della prevenzione degli infortuni sul lavoro CONSERVAZIONE DEL MANUALE Il manuale e' considerato parte dell'apparecchio e deve essere conservato in buono stato fino allo smaltimento finale dell'apparecchio. Il manuale dovrà essere conservato in luogo protetto, asciutto, al riparo dai raggi del sole e dovrà essere sempre reperibile e disponibile per la consultazione nei pressi della apparecchiatura. COME CHIEDERE UNA COPIA ULTERIORE DEL MANUALE Nel caso di danneggiamento della presente copia del manuale una nuova copia potrà essere richiesta alla ditta fornitrice indicando i dati identificativi posti sulla targhetta che si trova sul dispositivo a spese del Richiedente. INFORMAZIONI ALL'UTENTE 1. Il presente manuale rispecchia lo stato attuale della tecnica della apparecchiatura e non può essere considerato inadeguato solo perché aggiornato in base a nuove esperienze 2. Il Fabbricante si riserva il diritto di aggiornare la produzione ed i manuali, senza l'obbligo di informare e aggiornare produzione e manuali precedenti. 3. Le caratteristiche dei materiali possono essere modificate in ogni momento, in funzione dell'evoluzione tecnica, senza alcun preavviso 4. Il fabbricante si ritiene sollevato da qualsiasi eventuale responsabilità nel caso in cui della apparecchiatura ne sia fatto: uso improprio uso da parte di personale non addestrato uso contrario a quanto stabilito nel presente manuale uso contrario alla Normativa e Legislazione vigente uso con difetto di alimentazione primaria uso con carenze gravi nella manutenzione prevista uso con modifiche o interventi non autorizzati esplicitamente per nota scritta dal Fabbricante uso con utilizzo di parti di ricambio non originali o non specificatamente definite per il modello uso con inosservanza totale o parziale delle istruzioni contenute nel presente manuale 5. La garanzia generale di vendita decade nel caso di: cattiva conservazione inconvenienti per errato montaggio imperizia d'uso superamento dei limiti di prestazione eccessive sollecitazioni meccaniche e/o elettriche utilizzo nelle condizioni descritte al punto 4. 3

4 ! ATTENZIONE! IL SISTEMA ALZALETTO, come tutte le apparecchiature con parti in moto, può essere fonte di grave pericolo se non propriamente utilizzato. Viene demandato all'utilizzatore di garantire che: tutte le operazioni di trasporto, allacciamento, manutenzione e riparazione vengano eseguite da personale qualificato ed autorizzato. Per personale qualificato si intende (come da IEC 364) quel personale che per formazione, istruzione, esperienza, conoscenza di norme, prescrizioni, provvedimenti antinfortunistici e condizioni di utilizzo e servizio, sia in grado di effettuare ogni intervento necessario riconoscendo ed evitando ogni possibile pericolo e/o danno. tali persone dispongano di tutte le istruzioni ed informazioni del caso. Il manuale deve essere conservato per tutta la vita dell apparecchiatura e deve essere passato a qualsiasi altro utente o successivo proprietario. Le indicazioni riportate nel presente manuale non sostituiscono le disposizioni di sicurezza ed i dati tecnici per l installazione ed il funzionamento, applicate direttamente sul prodotto e sugli imballi. Il presente manuale rispecchia lo stato della tecnica al momento attuale e non potrà essere considerato inadeguato solo perché successivamente aggiornato in base a nuove esperienze. Il costruttore si riserva altresì il diritto di modificare il manuale senza l obbligo di aggiornare le edizioni precedenti. Un uso improprio dell apparecchiatura o difforme da quanto descritto nel presente manuale preclude ogni condizione di garanzia o responsabilità del costruttore; l utilizzo deve essere effettuato da parte di una persona adulta e responsabile. E necessario conservare con cura il presente manuale, poiché il costruttore non risponde di danni arrecati a persone o cose, o subiti dalla apparecchiatura se utilizzato in modo difforme da quanto in esso descritto o nel caso non vengano rispettate le prescrizioni di manutenzione e sicurezza. La conoscenza del prodotto e l osservanza delle istruzioni contenute in questa documentazione sono condizioni necessarie per garantire i requisiti di sicurezza e di corretto funzionamento. E quindi necessario attenersi scrupolosamente alle istruzioni riportate nel seguito. Per qualsiasi inconveniente od avaria che dovesse verificarsi, a meno che non sia di ordinaria manutenzione, ci si dovrà rivolgere direttamente al nostro Servizio Assistenza Clienti allo scopo di evitare possibili alterazioni a livello di sicurezza, affidabilità e funzionalità del prodotto. 4 In ogni caso tutti gli interventi sul prodotto dovranno essere eseguiti da personale qualificato ed autorizzato. Le apparecchiature sono state progettate e costruite nel rispetto delle direttive 89/392/CEE e Norma UNI EN vigente. Nessun dispositivo di sicurezza può essere rimosso o modificato da parte dell acquirente: Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità in caso di inosservanza di detto divieto. Ogni eventuale modifica, che non comprometta l esistenza e l efficienza dei dispositivi installati, dovrà comunque essere sottoposta all approvazione del costruttore e al collaudo degli enti preposti, a norma di legge, a cura e spese dell acquirente. Il costruttore fornisce, per i vari componenti dell apparecchiatura, una garanzia di 2 anni per difetti di fabbricazione. Il presente manuale deve essere sempre a disposizione dell utilizzatore e/o manutentore, il quale deve essere informato sull uso corretto del prodotto e su eventuali rischi residui. Deve essere conservato in luogo asciutto, pulito e protetto dal calore. Impiegare il manuale in modo tale da non danneggiarne tutto o in parte il contenuto. Non asportare, strappare o riscrivere per alcun motivo parti del manuale. In caso di smarrimento del manuale o di richiesta di ulteriori informazioni, contattare il rivenditore di zona oppure il costruttore

Umidità di immagazzinamento 20 C R.H. % Umidità di funzionamento ambiente 90 R.H. % MOVIMENTAZIONE E TRASPORTO Il prodotto viene spedito in perfette condizioni di funzionamento dopo essere stato sottoposto a collaudo presso la nostra azienda. Tipo di imballaggio: - se spedito singolarmente il prodotto viene imballato in scatola di cartone. - per spedizioni multiple le apparecchiature vengono imballate su pallet opportunamente protetti Il trasporto deve essere affidato ad una ditta specializzata. All arrivo segnalare al trasportatore eventuali danni e controllare che il prodotto sia completo e in perfetto stato. Accertarsi che l'apparecchiatura non presenti segni di danneggiamento e che la fornitura sia completa e annotare sul documento di trasporto e/o fattura accompagnatoria eventuali anomalie. Se il danno e evidente, conservare l imballaggio affinché possa essere ispezionato dalla Compagnia di trasporto che Vi ha consegnato la apparecchiatura. Contattare la Compagnia di trasporto immediatamente, per una richiesta di risarcimento danni. Se la fornitura non e' conforme all'ordine, rivolgersi immediatamente al fornitore. Ogni danno o discordanza devono essere tempestivamente segnalate. Gli eventuali materiali inseriti a protezione dei colli dovranno essere smaltiti secondo le loro qualità. Gli elementi di imballo possono tagliare, ferire o divenire pericolosi se non maneggiati con cura o usati impropriamente; non lasciare alla portata di bambini o persone non responsabili. In ogni caso il trasporto deve essere effettuato da personale qualificato ed autorizzato.

6 Serie INSTALLAZIONE Tutte le operazioni di installazione devono essere effettuate da personale qualificato ed autorizzato. 7 1) Fissare l assieme motorizzato al piano inferiore del letto. Inserire i rulli porta cinghie nell albero di trasmissione del gruppo motorizzato e fissare i due supporti. Fare attenzione al verso di svolgimento delle cinghie che deve essere conforme al senso di rotazione indicato dalla freccia sull assieme motorizzato (il letto scende, il rullo gira nel senso della freccia) (vedi fig. 2 e 3). N.B. Questa operazione, se non eseguita come descritto, può provocare seri danni al dispositivo SENSO DI ROTAZIONE DELL ALBERO Fig. 2 SENSO DI SVOLGIMENTO DELLE CINGHIE STAFFA STABILIZZATRICE CON SCORREVOLE IN PLASTICA FRECCIA SENSO ROTAZIONE Fig. 3 7 Fig. 4 Fissare i due alberi dx e sx (Fig. 2) saldamente all assieme motorizzato mediante i due bulloni in dotazione 8x45 acciaio ) Fissare al bordo del piano del letto le 2 staffe stabilizzatrice (Cod ZF00) perfettamente in asse con le cinghie (fig. 3). 3) Montare il piano del letto nell apposita sede all interno del veicolo curando di far emergere le 4 cinghie dai bordi laterali del piano. Assicurare alle pareti (è a cura e responsabilità del cliente di fissare le piastre su un supporto di materiale idoneo a sopportare la portata del dispositivo più il peso proprio (400 KG) con almeno 13 viti 4,8x25 per ogni piastra) le 4 Piastre di fissaggio cinghie (Cod ZF00) tenendo conto che siano in asse con le rispettive cinghie e che siano posizionate alla massima altezza a cui si vuol far arrivare il dispositivo. 4) Posizionare la rete su 4 appoggi di egual lunghezza posti nei 4 angoli nel punto più basso dove si desidera che il letto si arresti.

8 5) Verificare che i perni che tengono le cinghie ai Tubo avvolgitore cinghie siano inseriti correttamente e siano presenti i fermi antisfilamento; importante arrotolare almeno 2 giri le cinghie sul Tubo avvolgitore cinghie prima di posizionare le cinghie nelle piastre fissaggio cinghie (fig. 4) (tutte e 4 le cinghie devono avere una pre avvolgitura uguale, altrimenti il letto sale storto). 6) Fig. 6: Provvedere al fissaggio delle cinghie secondo la procedura che segue: adagiare la cinghia sulla piastra fissata in parete, posizionare la prima piastrina mobile sulla piastra fissa, ripiegare la cinghia su se stessa facendola adagiare sulla prima piastrina; inserire la seconda piastrina; inserire i 4 dadi di fissaggio sulle viti filettate della piastra fissa, tendere bene le cinghie e serrare i dadi di fissaggio con un sistema a croce. 7) Montare i sistemi di scorrimento per stabilizzare il letto, facendo attenzione al parallelismo delle cinghie ( n 2 Guida stabilizzatrice Cod XXX ). 8) Collegare il dispositivo all impianto elettrico (solo per serie 12579). 9) Solo per serie 12579: Regolazione del punto massima altezza desiderato: spostare il fine-corsa (fig. 7) tutto a destra, far salire il dispositivo fino all altezza desiderata, riportare il fine-corsa verso sinistra fino a che non urta con la staffa interna di battuta. Bloccare il fine-corsa. 10) Registrazione delle staffe stabilizzatrici : con il letto in posizione più alta distanziare la rete dalle guide stabilizzatrici in egual modo sia a DX che a SX poi fissare le viti di bloccaggio (fig. 10) punto B. Procedere al collaudo facendo abbassare e alzare il letto. Il dispositivo viene fornito con il fine corsa di discesa già tarato (non modificabile) Solo serie ATTENZIONE! PER RAGIONI DI SICUREZZA E STABILITA DEL DISPOSITIVO, QUANDO IL PIANO DEL LETTO E NELLA POSIZIONE PIU BASSA I RULLI PORTACINGHIE DEVONO AVERE OBBLIGATORIAMENTE ALMENO 2 GIRI DI CINGHIA AVVOLTI SU DI ESSI. 8 Fig. 6

9 Provvedere alla regolazione del finecorsa elettrico (fig. 7) Solo serie VITE DI REGOLAZIONE DEL FINECORSA SISTEMA TENDICATENA Fig. 7 Qualora si notasse un gioco sull asse di uscita dell assieme motorizzato,è possibile eliminarlo seguendo la seguente procedura: allentare il bullone con 2 chiavi da 17 mm. Smontare la piastra dove sono fissati i fine corsa per verificare la tensione della catena. Regolare avvitando in modo uguale le due viti diametro 6 con cacciavite a croce controllando che la tensione della catena non sia eccessiva, riserrare il bullone con 2 chiavi da 17 mm. (fig.7). Al termine del montaggio controllare che non siano presenti giochi o movimenti meccanici relativi, indice di una non corretta installazione. - INSTALLAZIONE ELETTRICA (solo per serie 12579): 9 ATTUATORE ELETTRICO CONNETTORE Fig. 8 Attenersi scrupolosamente allo schema elettrico fornito a corredo dell apparecchiatura (schema di collegamento fig.11). Nell operazione di installazione attenersi alle attuali normative CE in materia. La scelta della posizione dell interruttore di azionamento deve essere accurata. Normalmente la miglior posizione è all interno del garage per verificare a vista, durante l azionamento, gli ingombri che ci possono essere nel garage. Tuttavia può essere posizionato anche da altra parte; va comunque tenuto presente che non deve essere di facile accesso a bambini. Al termine della installazione elettrica si potrà procedere alla messa in servizio e collaudo del prodotto. Il comando elettrico del sistema ALZALETTO dovrà essere derivato dal quadro comandi dell automezzo sul quale dovrà essere presente un idoneo dispositivo di sezionamento e protezione (Fusibile Max 15 A). Non è ammessa l installazione elettrica direttamente alla linea di alimentazione a batteria dell automezzo senza dispositivi di sezionamento e protezione (non è sufficiente l installazione di un fusibile di protezione). La Ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità in caso di malfunzionamento dell apparecchiatura o del veicolo dovuto a collegamenti ad un impianto elettrico non in perfetto stato di funzionamento e ad una installazione sul veicolo non corretta.

10 6.0 MESSA IN SERVIZIO E COLLAUDO Il prodotto viene consegnato al cliente integralmente collaudato e pronto per la messa in servizio. Le operazioni di messa in servizio e collaudo del prodotto, una volta installato sul veicolo, dovranno essere effettuate da personale specializzato per eliminare i rischi collegati alla prima messa in servizio del prodotto. Tutte le operazioni di messa in servizio e collaudo devono essere effettuate da personale qualificato ed autorizzato. 7.0 CAMPO D IMPIEGO E USO PREVISTO La apparecchiatura non e' stata progettata, costruita e collaudata per il funzionamento in ambienti non veicolari, con alto grado di inquinamento da sostanze chimiche gassose quali cloro, ammoniaca ed assimilati, in locali con pericolo di incendio e di esplosione, in ambienti a rischio elettrico elevato. Il prodotto dovrà essere destinato al solo uso per il quale è espressamente concepito, e cioè movimentare, in salita e discesa, il letto in veicoli adibiti esplicitamente all uso per tempo libero ed hobby; non è previsto che tale apparecchiatura sia utilizzata in ambienti estranei a quelli veicolari. In particolare non è previsto l uso di tale apparecchiatura per alzare ed abbassare letti, piani, pesi in locali abitativi domestici (ad es.: camere, cucine ecc..) o lavorativi (ad es.: laboratori, ospedali, terziario, ecc.) o per il tempo libero (ad es.: ostelli, hotel,campeggi, ecc.).! E VIETATA LA MOVIMENTAZIONE CON PERSONE PRESENTI SUL LETTO! TALE OPERAZIONE E ESTREMAMENTE PERICOLOSA! 10 Tutti i casi riportati negli esempi sono a carattere illustrativo, ma non limitativo! Il costruttore non può essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni derivanti da usi impropri o erronei o irragionevoli. L utilizzatore deve attenersi alle norme di sicurezza vigenti nel paese d installazione, oltre alle regole dettate dal comune buonsenso e assicurarsi che vengano effettuate correttamente le periodiche operazioni di manutenzione. L installatore, l utilizzatore o il manutentore hanno l obbligo di segnalare al costruttore eventuali difetti o deterioramenti che possano compromettere l originale sicurezza d impianto. Le responsabilità derivanti dai componenti commerciali montati sul prodotto sono delegate ai rispettivi costruttori; le responsabilità del personale autorizzato all uso del prodotto sono delegate al cliente. 8.0 AVVIAMENTO E FUNZIONAMENTO Con il veicolo in fase di stazionamento il meccanismo di elevazione e discesa del letto viene comandato dall operatore agendo sull apposito pulsante; tenendo premuto l interruttore il moto prosegue fino a fine corsa, dove si interrompe automaticamente tramite l intervento di fine corsa elettrico che stacca l alimentazione del motore di comando. Al rilascio del pulsante il movimento del letto si interrompe. Curare che i bambini non sostino in prossimità dell apparecchiatura quando questa è in uso.

11 8.1 DISPOSITIVI DI SICUREZZA I vari modelli sono stati progettati e realizzati tenendo presente tutti i principali criteri di sicurezza, in modo da ridurre e/o annullare ogni componente di rischio connessa al funzionamento. 8.2 SISTEMA DI PROTEZIONE DEL MOTORE (SOLO PER SERIE 12579) I vari modelli di apparecchiatura sono forniti di un sistema di protezione del motore elettrico dai sovraccarichi meccanici che potrebbero agire sul motore durante il suo funzionamento.! E COMUNQUE VIETATO SALIRE O SOSTARE SUL LETTO QUANDO QUESTO E IN MOVIMENTO NON ACCEDERE ALLE PARTI DEL SISTEMA ALZALETTO QUANDO QUESTO E IN MOVIMENTO. 9.0 AVVERTENZE FONDAMENTALI Non devono assolutamente essere manomessi i diversi dispositivi di sicurezza. E assolutamente vietato salire o sostare sul letto durante il suo movimento. Non interferire con il letto durante il suo movimento con oggetti, tanto meno con le mani. Prima di avviare e porre in marcia il veicolo assicurarsi a vista, che il letto sia in posizione di riposo ed in sicurezza. Non utilizzare il letto ed il dispositivo di movimentazione in modo non idoneo. L utilizzo dell apparecchiatura deve essere effettuata solo da persone adulte e responsabili, non sotto l effetto di alcool o sostanze stupefacenti. Prima di attivare la movimentazione del letto, accertarsi che nessun oggetto o persona stazioni nello spazio di funzionamento O SOPRA IL LETTO! MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA Al fine di garantire l uso dell apparecchiatura senza inconvenienti e in condizioni di massima sicurezza per gli operatori, è opportuno seguire il programma di controllo e manutenzione riportato in questo capitolo. E essenziale che vengano rispettate le norme previste dalla manutenzione periodica e che vengano controllati tutti gli organi del sistema ALZALETTO allo scopo di individuare eventuali anomalie prima che si verifichino ed evitarle laddove necessita. I vari modelli sono stati progettati e realizzati al fine di ridurre al minino gli interventi di manutenzione INTERVENTI DI MANUTENZIONE Occorre effettuare un controllo periodico delle condizioni di usura delle cinghie e dello stato di regolazione del tendicatena. E importante verificare periodicamente lo stato e la pulizia. Prima di iniziare qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione assicurarsi che il veicolo sia stazionato in condizioni di sicura stabilità. Dopo aver accertato la stabilità del veicolo provvedere a scollegare l impianto elettrico del sistema ALZALETTO dalla batteria del veicolo. In ogni caso è necessario osservare queste norme di carattere generale: E vietata ogni riparazione di emergenza e/o provvisoria eseguita da personale non qualificato e autorizzato. Mantenere l apparecchiatura in ordine e pulita. Conservare sempre l integrità dell apparecchiatura.

12 Per interventi più complessi è necessario il ricorso a personale specializzato SMANTELLAMENTO E DEMOLIZIONE La Ditta costruttrice ha progettato e realizzato l apparecchiatura per una durata di almeno 500 ore di funzionamento intermittente e comunque esclusivamente se sono state rispettate le procedure di manutenzione riportate nel presente manuale. Prima di iniziare le operazioni di smantellamento provvedere a scollegare l impianto elettrico dell apparecchiatura dalla batteria del veicolo. L apparecchiatura dovrà essere smontata nei suoi particolari essenziali. Intervenire esclusivamente con guanti e dispositivi di protezione personale (D.P.I.) per evitare possibili cesoiamenti, tagli ed abrasioni. schiacciamenti, Eseguito lo smontaggio e la cernita dei componenti conferirli a Ditte autorizzate al loro smaltimento. Le operazioni di smantellamento e demolizione devono essere eseguite da personale qualificato ed autorizzato. LA DITTA COSTRUTTRICE NON RISPONDERA DI EVENTUALI RIUTILIZZI DI COMPONENTI O MATERIALI PROVENIENTI DALLO SMONTAGGIO DELL APPARECCHIATURA. - SMALTIMENTO PARTI ELETTRICHE ED ELETTRONICHE: Sono definiti rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche o RAEE le apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche considerate rifiuti ai sensi dell articolo 6, comma 1, lettera a), del decreto legislativo 5 febbraio 1997, n. 22, e successive modificazioni, inclusi tutti i componenti, i sottoinsiemi ed i materiali di consumo che sono parte integrante del prodotto; un uso improprio delle stesse apparecchiature o di parti di esse può provocare gravi danni all ambiente ed alla salute umana dovuti a causa della presenza di sostanze pericolose nelle stesse. 12 Ai sensi del decreto legislativo 151/2005 è pertanto obbligatorio non smaltire i RAEE come rifiuti urbani ed effettuare, per detti rifiuti, una raccolta separata; si applicano altrimenti le sanzioni previste in caso di smaltimento abusivo di rifiuti come stabilito dal decreto legislativo 5 febbraio 1997, n. 22. Sono stabiliti dalla pubblica amministrazione o, su base volontaria da privati, i sistemi di raccolta dei RAEE ed i centri di raccolta di RAEE quali spazi, locali e strutture per la raccolta superata ed il deposito temporaneo di RAEE predisposti cui il privato può direttamente rivolgersi. E data peraltro la possibilità ai privati di riconsegnare al distributore l apparecchiatura all atto dell acquisto di una nuova. Il simbolo che indica la raccolta separata delle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (AEE) è un contenitore di spazzatura su ruote barrato: il simbolo è stato stampato in modo visibile, leggibile ed indelebile direttamente sul prodotto.

13 12.0 AVVERTENZE DI CARATTERE GENERALE SULLE NORME DI SICUREZZA Tutti gli organi pericolosi, come alberi, pulegge, catene, corone dentate, ecc. sono stati isolati e protetti, nei limiti costruttivi, mediante idonee pannellature di protezione. I pannelli sopra descritti, che costituiscono una efficiente separazione fra gli elementi pericolosi e l uomo, non devono essere rimossi, neppure temporaneamente, e ne deve essere impedita qualsiasi manomissione durante la vita utile dell apparecchiatura. Nel caso si renda necessario rimuovere le protezioni, l operatore dovrà in ogni caso seguire le avvertenze di sicurezza che tendono a salvaguardare sé stesso ed ogni altro che dovesse essere nel raggio di azione dell apparecchiatura. In ogni caso le protezioni dovranno essere ripristinate non appena terminata l operazione di manutenzione. In special modo si dovrà ricordare nella fase di manutenzione che: Prima di iniziare le operazioni assicurarsi che il veicolo sia stazionato in condizioni di sicura stabilità. Ogni operazione deve essere eseguita ad apparecchiatura ferma e solo dopo aver tolto la tensione CONDIZIONI GENERALI DI GARANZIA Il costruttore Project 2000 S.r.l. garantisce per 24 mesi i vari componenti dell apparecchiatura dalla data di acquisto. Non sono comprese nella garanzia le cinghie in quanto trattasi di materiale usurabile. I particolari difettosi non dovranno essere manomessi. I particolari manomessi o parzialmente smontati saranno esclusi dalla garanzia. Saranno anche escluse dalla garanzia le parti elettriche nel caso in cui venga riscontrato il non corretto collegamento all impianto: in questo caso sarà addebitata la riparazione. Il costruttore Project 2000 S.r.l. può decidere di sostituire i particolari difettosi anziché di ripararli. Ogni richiesta di garanzia deve essere accompagnata da tutti i dati riportati sulla targhetta identificativa del dispositivo; in mancanza di questo non può essere fatta richiesta di garanzia. 13 Viene escluso assolutamente qualsiasi risarcimento per danni indiretti. La garanzia comprende la riparazione o sostituzione del pezzo presso la Ditta costruttrice Project 2000 S.r.l.. Le eventuali spese di spedizione (per le parti di ricambio in garanzia) nonché i costi per la mano d opera presso i rivenditori o altre spese accessorie sono a carico del richiedente. Per qualsiasi controversia è competente l autorità giudiziaria del foro di Firenze (Italia) PROCEDURA DI ATTIVAZIONE GARANZIA Le procedure da adottare in caso di eventuale guasto sono le seguenti: 1. Il prodotto non deve essere manomesso in nessuna delle sue parti. 2. Il prodotto, integro così come quando ricevuto, deve essere inviato, a spese del cliente, alla ditta Project 2000 S.r.l. accompagnato da una breve descrizione del difetto riscontrato, con tutti i dati identificativi riportati sulla targhetta posta sul dispositivo. 3. La ditta Project 2000 S.r.l. controlla e testa il prodotto e redige un report su quanto riscontrato che invierà al cliente. 4. Se il danno è imputabile ad un difetto di costruzione la ditta Project 2000 S.r.l. provvede alla riparazione o sostituzione del particolare o dell intero prodotto ritenendolo in garanzia solo se tale difetto è stato riscontrato entro 24 (ventiquattro) mesi dalla data di acquisto. 5. Se il danno è imputabile ad un uso scorretto del prodotto o una mancata manutenzione o comunque non sia derivato da un difetto di costruzione, la ditta Project 2000 S.r.l. provvederà ad informare il cliente (punto 2). Il cliente, in forma scritta, deciderà se far provvedere alla riparazione o sostituzione del particolare o dell intero prodotto. In questo caso Project 2000 S.r.l. addebiterà sempre e comunque le spese necessarie alla riparazione o sostituzione nonché le spese per il rinvio presso il cliente. 6. Le spese di trasporto (sia di andata che di ritorno) sono sempre a carico del cliente.

14 7. Il prodotto difettoso può essere riparato o sostituito solo ed esclusivamente presso la ditta Project 2000 S.r.l. che pertanto non rimborserà alcuna spesa per gli eventuali costi indiretti, mano d opera, montaggio e smontaggio, trasporto o quant altro il cliente dovesse sostenere per tentare di ripristinare il difetto. 8. Se il danno non è imputabile ad un difetto di costruzione e pertanto la garanzia non è operante, il cliente deve pagare tutte le spese necessarie alla riparazione o sostituzione del prodotto compreso il trasporto, senza alcuna esclusione. 9. 18 1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1 IMPORTANCE OF THE HANDBOOK, HOW TO USE IT AND MAINTAIN IT. This handbook will help you to know and use your PROJECT 2000 BED LIFTING DEVICE at its best. READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE DEVICE. The handbook is addressed to the user and/or maintenance technician of the device and is considered an integral part of the device itself. The purpose of this handbook is to provide information for the correct use of the bed lifting device and for his proper maintenance, as well as to ensure the safety of the user. TO WHOM IT IS ADDRESSED. This handbook is addressed to the user of the device, to the people in charge for the movement, installation, use, surveillance, maintenance and final dismantling of the device. AIM OF THE HANDBOOK. The handbook describes the use of the device, so as it was foreseen from the project as well as its technical features. It provides instructions for the movement, the proper and safe installation, adjusting and use. It also provides information for maintenance interventions. It helps to order spare parts and gives indications on possible residual risks. RESPECT FOR THE LAW. Besides the rules given from this handbook all specific law dispositions in the field of on-the-job accidents prevention must be respected. HANDBOOK PRESERVATION. The handbook is considered to be an integral part of the device and must be maintained in good state up to the final dismantling of the device. The handbook has to be stored in a dry place, protected from solar rays and it always will have to be available for consultation nearby the device. 18 HOW TO ASK A NEW COPY OF THE HANDBOOK. In case of damage of this copy of the handbook, a new one can be requested to the manufacturer at applicant s expenses by simply giving the details indicated in the label fixed on the unit. INFORMATIONS TO THE USER. 1. The handbook reflects the actual status of technology of the device and it cannot be considered inadequate only because updated on the base of new experiences. 2. The manufacturer reserves the right to update the production and the handbooks, without the obligation of updating previous productions and handbooks. 3. The characteristics of the materials can be changed according to the technical evolution in every moment without notice. 4. The manufacturer declines any possible responsibility in case of: improper use use from non trained personnel use not in accordance with this handbook use not in accordance with laws and regulations in force use without main supply use with serious lacks in the scheduled maintenance use with modifications or interventions not expressly authorized by writing from the manufacturer use with non original spare parts or spare parts not proper for this model use with partial or total non observance of the instructions contained herein. 5. The general sale guarantee decays in the case of: bad conservation problems related to wrong mounting incapacity of use exceeding of the performance limits excessive mechanical and/or electrical solicitations use in the conditions described in point n. 4

19 ! WARNING! The BED LIFTING DEVICE, like all devices with parts in motion, can be source of serious danger properly. It is up to the customer to take care that: if it is not used all the operations of transport, connection, maintenance and repair are performed from qualified and authorized personnel for qualified personnel (as from IEC 364) is meant the personnel who is capable to effect every necessary intervention, recognizing and avoiding every possible danger and/or damage thanks to his professional training, education, experience, knowledge of norms, prescriptions, on-the-job accident prevention and proper operating and use conditions. this personnel has available all needed instructions and information. The handbook should be conserved for the entire life of the device and has to be given to any other user or subsequent owner. The instructions given in this handbook do not replace the safety rules and technical details for installation and operating, applied directly on the product or on his packaging. This handbook reflects the actual status of technology and cannot be considered inadequate only because updated on the base of new experiences. The manufacturer is, moreover, entitled to modify the handbook without being obliged to update previous editions of it. Improper use of the device or utilization not in accordance with this handbook will nullify any manufacturer guarantee or reliability term. The device must be used from adult, responsible persons. This handbook must be carefully conserved, since the manufacturer is not reliable for damages caused to persons or things or damages suffered by the device itself, in case it has been used not according to this handbook or in case the maintenance and safety prescriptions herein are not respected. Knowledge of the product and observance of the instructions contained in this documentation are necessary conditions to warrant the safety requirements and the correct functioning. It is therefore necessary to follow carefully the instructions given herein. 19 For any problem or failure that might occur, apart from routine maintenance, contact directly our Customer Care Service, to avoid possible alterations in the safety, reliability and functionality of the product. In any case, all interventions on the product must be carried out only by qualified, authorized personnel. The products have been designed and manufactured in compliance with Directive 89/392/CEE and Norm UNI EN in force. No safety device can be removed or modified by the purchaser: The manufacturer declines any responsibility in case of non observance of this prohibition. Any eventual modification, which does not compromise the existence and the efficiency of the devices installed, must in any case be submitted to the approval of the manufacturer and according to law to the test by the proper public agencies, under the purchaser s responsibility and at his expenses. The various components of the device are covered by a two year manufacturing defects warranty. This handbook must always be available for the user and/or maintenance technician, who has to be informed about the correct use of the product and about eventual residual risks. The handbook has to be stored in a dry, clean place, protected from heat. Use the handbook avoiding total or partial damages to its content. Do not remove, tear out or rewrite parts of the handbook, for any reason. In case of loss of the handbook or in case of need of further information, please contact the retailer in your area or the manufacturer.

Type of packaging: - when dispatched individually the product is packed in a cardboard box - for multiple shipments the devices are packed on pallets properly protected. Transport has to be done by a specialized firm. On arrival, inform the transporter of any damage and check the product integrity and perfect state. Check that the device doesn t show any sign of damage, that the delivery is complete of every part and note eventual anomalies on the bill of transport or invoice. If there is an evident damage, keep the packaging so that the transport company can inspect it immediately for a damage claim application. If the delivery is not in conformity with the order, please contact the supplier immediately. Any damage or discrepancy must be promptly notified. Any material used to protect the parcel has to be dismantled according to its property. Packaging elements can cut, injure or become dangerous if not handled with care or if used improperly; do not leave them within kid s or irresponsible people s reach. In any case, transport must be done only by qualified and authorized personnel.

22 1) Fix the motor unit under the bed base. Insert the belt keeping rollers in the transmission shaft of the motor unit and fix the two supports. Pay attention to the direction of unwinding of the belts, which has to go in the same sense indicated by the arrow on the motor unit (the bed moves downwards, the roller turns in the sense indicated by the arrow). (See pictures 2 and 3). N.B. This procedure if not executed correctly as described, can cause serious damages to the device. ROTATION SENSE OF THE SHAFT UNWINDING SENSE OF THE BELTS Picture 2 BELT HOLDER WITH PLASTIC SLIDER ARROW INDICATING THE ROTATION SENSE Picture 3 22 Picture 4 2) Fix to the border of the bed base the 2 belt holders (item ZF00), take care that they are perfectly aligned with the belts (see Picture 3). 3) Mount the bed base in the proper place inside the motor caravan paying attention that the 4 belts come out from the lateral borders of the bed base. Fasten the 4 belt fixing brackets (Item ZF00) aligned with the respective belts and pay attention they are positioned at the maximum height that the device has to reach (it is up to the client and at his responsibility to fix these brackets on a proper support, made of a material which can hold the weight of the device and of the users (400 kg), by means of at least 13 screws 4,8 x 25 for each bracket).

23 4) Place the bed base on 4 supports of the same length located in the 4 angles and in the lower point, where the bed base has to stop. 5) Check that the pins holding the belts to the winding rollers are correctly inserted and that the stops preventing the unthreading are present; it is important to wind at least for 2 turns the belts around the winding roller before placing the belts in the holding brackets (Picture 4) (all the 4 belts must have the same pre-winding, otherwise the bed base will lift up twisted). 6) Picture 6: Fix the belts following this procedure: place the belt on the holding bracket fixed to the wall, place the first mobile bracket on the fixed bracket, fold the belt over the first mobile bracket than insert the second mobile bracket, insert the 4 fixing bolts on the threaded bars of the fixed bracket, stretch the belts and tighten the fixing bolts with a cross system. 7) Mount the guides to stabilize the bed base, taking care that the belts are parallel with each other ( n 2 holding guides item XXX ). 8) Connect the device to the electrical installation (only for serie 12579) 9) Only for series 12579: Adjust the point of maximum height desired: move the end-of-stroke switch (Picture 7) completely to the right, lift up the bed device until the desired height is reached, move the end-of-stroke switch back to the left until it knocks into the internal stroke bracket. Block the end of stroke switch. 11) Adjusting of the belt holders: with the bed base in the higher position space the bed base of the same distance to the left and to the right from the holding guides, than fix the screws ( see point 8 Picture 10). Proceed with the test lifting and lowering the bed. The device is delivered with the low end-of-stroke switch already calibrated (not adjustable) Only for series ATTENTION! FOR SECURITY REASONS AND FOR THE STABILITY OF THE DEVICE, WHEN THE BED BASE IS IN THE LOWER POSITION, THE BELTS MUST BE WINDED UP OF AT LEAST TWO TURNS IN THE ROLLERS. 23 Picture 6

24 Adjust the end-of-stroke switch. (Picture 7) Only for series END OF STROKE SWITCH ADJUSTING SCREW CHAIN STRETCHER Picture 7 In case there is some play in the outgoing end of the motor unit, it is possible to avoid it with this procedure: loose the bolt with 2 17 mm keys. Demount the bracket that holds the end-of-stroke switches to check the tightness of the chain. Adjust the tightness of the chain, which has not be excessive, by fixing the two diameter 6 screws using a cross screwdriver, than tight again the bolt by means of two 17 mm keys. (Picture 7). At the end of the mounting check that there is no play an no relative mechanical movement, their absence is sign of a correct installation. - ELECTRIC CONNECTION (only for series 12579): ELECTRIC ACTUATOR 24 CONNECTOR Picture 8 Follow carefully the electrical connection scheme delivered together with the device (connection scheme Picture 11). By the connection conform to the CE norms on the matter. The choice of the operating switch position must be done carefully. Normally the best position is inside the rear locker so that it is in a place that enables when operating the device to have at sight eventual objects that could block. Although it can be fitted also elsewhere; it is in any case important it is not within easy kid s reach. When finishing the electrical connection it is possible to proceed with the operating and test of the device. The electrical input for the BED LIFTING DEVICE has to be derived from the control panel of the vehicle, where must also be present a proper disconnecting switch or another protection device (fuse of max 15 A). It is not allowed to connect the device directly with the supply line from the battery of the vehicle without protection or disconnection devices (it is not sufficient to fit a protection fuse). The manufacturer declines any responsibility in case of malfunction of the unit or of the vehicle, due to connections with electrical installations in a bad operation status or due to incorrect connection in the vehicle.

25 6.0 OPERATING AND TEST The product is delivered to the customer completely tested and ready for operate. The procedure for operate and test the product, once installed in the vehicle, must be carried out by specialized personnel, to avoid any risk related with the first operating. All operating procedures and tests must be carried out by qualified, authorized personnel. 7.0 UTILIZATION FIELD AND PROPER USE The device has not been projected, produced and tested to operate in non-vehicular spaces, in spaces with high degree of pollution from chemical gasses like chlorine, ammonia and other comparable substances, in places with fire or explosion danger and in any surrounding with high electrical risk. The product has to be used only for the purposes it was expressly conceived for, which is to lift up and lower a bed inside recreational vehicles; it is not provided to use this device in non-vehicular spaces. In particular it is not provided to use this device to lift up or lower beds, tops or weights in residential domestic premises (for ex.: bedrooms, kitchens, etc.) or working premises (for ex.: laboratories, hospitals, service sector, etc.) or for leisure (for ex.: hostels, hotels, camp-sites, etc.).! IT IS FORBIDDEN TO MOVE THE DEVICE WITH PEOPLE ON THE BED! THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! All cases indicated in the examples have only explanatory character, but not limitative! The manufacturer is not considered responsible for eventual damages due to improper or wrong or unreasonable use. The user must follow the security norms in force in the state of mounting, as well as the common-sense rules and take care that all periodical maintenance operations are executed correctly. 25 The installer, the user or the maintenance technician are obliged to advise the manufacturer in case of eventual faults or damages, which could compromise the original safety of the device. The responsibilities due to commercial components fitted within the device are delegated to the respective manufacturers; the responsibilities of the personnel authorized to use the product are delegated to the client. 8.0 STARTING AND FUNCTIONING With the vehicle parked the bed lift device is operated from the user by pressing the operating switch; keeping the switch pushed the movement continues until the end-of-stroke, where it stops automatically through the action of the electrical end-of-stroke switch that disconnects the energy supply to the motor. By releasing the button the movement of the bed stops. Take care that children do not stay nearby the device when it is functioning. 8.1 SAFETY DEVICES The various models have been projected and manufactured considering all main safety principles, in order to reduce and/or nullify any risk related to the functioning. 8.2 MOTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM (ONLY FOR SERIES 12579) The various models of device are provided with a system to protect the electrical motor from mechanical overloads, which could act on the motor during the functioning.

26 ! It is in any case forbidden to lie or sit on the bed when it s moving. Do not access or touch the components of the bed lifting device when it s moving. 9.0 FUNDAMENTAL PRECAUTIONS - It is absolutely forbidden to tamper with the several security devices - It is absolutely forbidden to lie or sit on the bed when it s moving - Do not interfere with the unit when it s moving, neither with objects nor with hands - Before starting the vehicle and move it, always have a look at the bed to ensure it is in a safe position. - Avoid improper use of the bed and of the lifting device - The unit should be used only by adults, responsible people and not under the effect of alcohol or drugs. - Before starting to move the bed, ensure that no object or person stands in the operating space of the device or lies on the bed! 10.0 MAINTAINANCE AND CLEANING To guarantee the use of the device without problems and in conditions of maximum safety for operators, it is advisable to follow the inspection and maintenance program given in this chapter. It is essential to respect the rules given for regular maintenance and to inspect all of the elements of the BED LIFTING UNIT in order to detect and avoid any abnormalities before they become evident. The various models of bed lifting devices have been projected and manufactured in order to reduce to the minimum all maintenance interventions MAINTENANCE INTERVENTIONS It is needed to do a periodic check of wear and tear of the belts as well as of the adjusting status of the chain stretcher. It is important to check periodically the status and the cleaning. Before starting any maintenance intervention ensure that the vehicle is parked in stable conditions. After checking the stability of the vehicle disconnect the electrical connection of the BED LIFTING DEVICE from the vehicle s battery. In any case it is necessary to respect these general norms: 26 It is forbidden to do any emergency or temporarily repair if executed from non qualified and non authorized personnel. Keep the device clean and in order. Keep always the integrity of the device. For more complex interventions it is necessary to refer to specialized personnel DISMANTLING AND DEMOLITION The manufacturer has projected and manufactured the device for a durability of at least 500 hours of intermittent operating but exclusively if the maintenance procedures described in this handbook have been respected. Before starting the dismantling procedure, disconnect the electrical system of the device from the battery of the vehicle. The device must be disassembled into its basic pieces. When working always wear gloves and personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid possible crushing, cuts and abrasions. After having disassembled and sorted the components, deliver them to authorized companies for disposal. Dismantling and demolition procedures must be carried out by qualified, authorized personnel. THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR POSSIBLE REUTILIZATION OF COMPONENTS OR MATERIALS COMING FROM THE DISASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE. - DISPOSAL OF ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC PARTS: According to article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the decree-law nr. 22 dated 05 th Feb and to its following amendments, all electric and electronic equipments, including all components, subsets and consumable materials which are integral part of the

27 product are meant Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment or (WEEE) ; improper use of these equipments or of its components can cause serious damages to the environment and to human health due to the dangerous substances they contain. In compliance with the decree-law 151/2005 it is compulsory not to dispose of WEEE as urban solid waste and to collect them separately; otherwise sanctions for illegal waste disposal will be applied, according to the decree-law nr. 22 dated 05 th Feb Public administration or individuals (voluntarily) arrange WEEE collection systems and WEEE collection centres, to these areas, premises and structures for selective waste collection and temporary storage of WEEE, the user can directly refer to. Private customers have also the possibility to return the equipment to the retailer when purchasing a new one. The symbol indicating the selective waste collection of electric and electronic equipments (WEEE) is a crossed-out wheeled dustbin: the symbol is printed in a visible, readable and indelible way directly on the product BASIC INTRUCTIONS ABOUT SAFETY REGULATIONS All of the dangerous elements, such as shafts, pulleys, chains, crown gears, etc., have been isolated and protected, within their structural limitations, by suitable protective panels. The above-mentioned panels, which provide efficient separation between hazardous elements and man, can not be removed, neither temporarily and any tampering with them during the working life of the device must be prevented. Should it become necessary to remove the protective panels, the operator must in any case observe the safety precautions in order to safeguard himself and anyone else who may be within the radius of action of the device. In any case, the protective panels have to be restored as soon as maintenance has been completed. In particular during maintenance it is important to remind: Before starting the work ensure that the vehicle is parked in conditions of sure stability. Every operation must be carried out with the equipment still and only after having disconnected the power GENERAL TERMS OF GUARANTEE The manufacturer Project 2000 S.r.l. guarantees the product components for 24 months from buying date. Belts are not covered from the warranty as they are considered wear and tear parts. Faulty parts should not be tampered with. Partial dismounted or tampered with parts will not be covered from the warranty. Also electric parts will not be covered from the warranty in case is found out an incorrect connection to the installation: in this case the repair costs will be charged to the client. The manufacturer Project 2000 S.r.l. can decide to replace faulty parts instead of repair them. Every guarantee request must report all details shown in the identification label of the device; failing this the guarantee request cannot be worked out. Any refund for indirect damages is excluded. The guarantee covers the repair or replacement of the part at the manufacturer s premises. Eventual carriage costs (for spare parts covered from guarantee), labour costs for interventions made by retailers as well as any other accessory charges are not included in the guarantee PROCEDURES TO ACTIVATE THE GUARANTEE For any dispute the court of Florence (Italy) is competent. Procedures to be adopted in case of eventual failure are the following: 10. Do not tamper with any part of the product. 11. The product, so complete as he was on arrival, has to be sent back to Project 2000 S.r.l, at customer s charge, together with a short description of the fault found, as well as with indication of the details shown in the label fixed on the device. 12. Firm Project 2000 S.r.l. checks and tests the product and issues a report which will be sent to the client. 13. If the damage is due to reasons attributable to a faulty manufacturing, firm Project 2000 S.r.l. will repair and/or replace the single part or the whole product considering the damage under warranty only if it has been acknowledged within 24 (twentyfour) months from the buying date. 14. If the damage is due to an improper use of the product or to a lack of maintenance or in any case it is not due to a faulty manufacturing, firm Project 2000 S.r.l. will advise the client (point 2). The client will have to decide in writing if he wants to

28 proceed with the repair or replacement of the single part or of the whole product. In this case Project 2000 S.r.l. will charge always and in any case the costs related to the repair or replacement as well as the freight costs to send the product back to the client. 15. Freight charges (both for coming back and for redeliver the product) are always at client s charge. 16. The faulty product can be repaired or replaced only and exclusively at the premises of Project 2000 S.r.l., which therefore will not refund any charges for eventual indirect costs, labour costs, mounting and dismounting costs, freight or anything else the client should be charged for in order to try to repair the fault. If the damage is not due to a manufacturing fault and therefore the warranty is not applicable, the client has to pay for all the charges related to the repair or replacement of the product included transport charges, with no exclusions. 17. Ce Manuel Vous aidera à mieux connaitre et utiliser votre mécanisme pour LIT RELEVABLE EN HAUTER de PROJECT LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT LE MANUEL AVANT D UTILISER LE MÉCANISME. Ce manuel est destiné à l utilisateur et/ou technicien de maintenance du marchepied et fait partie intégrante de ce dernier. Le but de ce manuel est de fournir les informations pour une utilisation correcte du dispositif et un entretien adéquat, ainsi que de garantir la sécurité de l opérateur. Â QUI EST-IL DESTINÉ Ce manuel est destiné à l utilisateur du dispositif, aux responsables compétents pour son déplacement, installation, utilisation, surveillance, maintenance et dépose finale. OBJECTIF DU MANUEL Le but de ce manuel est de définir le type d utilisation prévue pour le dispositif en objet et ses caractéristiques techniques, de fournir les instructions pour son déplacement et mise en place, son montage, son contrôle et utilisation. Il fournit également les informations nécessaires pour diriger les interventions de maintenance, faciliter la commande de pièces de rechange et fournit toutes les indications concernant les risques résiduels possibles. RESPECT DE LA LEGISLATION Au delà des règles mentionnées dans ce manuel, il faudra observer les dispositions législatives spécifiques dans le domaine de la prévention des accidents du travail. CONSERVATION DU MANUEL Ce manuel fait partie intégrante du dispositif et il doit être conservé en bon état jusqu à la dépose finale de ce dernier. Il devra être conservé dans un endroit sûr, sec et protégé des rayons du soleil et être toujours accessible et disponible près du dispositif pour être consulté. 32 COMMENT DEMANDER UN AUTRE EXEMPLAIRE DE CE MANUEL En cas de dégradation de cette copie du manuel, un nouveau exemplaire pourra être demandé au fabricant en communiquant les coordonnées indiquées sur la plaquette du dispositif, le frais de transport sont à charge de la partie requérante. INFORMATIONS POUR L UTILISATEUR 1. Ce manuel se base sûr l état technique actuel du dispositif et il ne pourra être considéré comme inadéquat en cas de mises à jour en vertu de nouvelles évolutions. 2. L utilisateur devra garantir que: toutes les opérations de transport, raccordement, entretien et réparation sont exécutées par personnel qualifié et autorisé. par personnel qualifié l on entend (selon la norme IEC 364) le personnel qui en vertu de sa formation, instruction, expérience, connaissance des normes, prescriptions et mesures contre les accidents du travail, conditions d utilisation et fonctionnement, soit en mesure d effectuer toute intervention nécessaire en reconnaissant et en évitant tout risque et/ou dommage éventuel. ces personnes disposent de toutes les instructions et informations nécessaires. Ce manuel devra être conservé pour toute la durée de vie du dispositif et être livré à n importe quel autre utilisateur ou propriétaire successif. Les renseignements mentionnés dans ce manuel ne remplacent pas les dispositions de sécurité et les données techniques pour la mise en œuvre et le fonctionnement apposées directement sur le produit et l emballage. 36 1) Fixer le groupe moteur au plan inferieur du lit. Introduire les «rouleaux de support pour les ceintures» dans l arbre de transmission du «groupe moteur» et fixer les deux supports. Prêter attention au sens de déroulement des ceintures qui doit être conforme au sens de rotation indiqué par le flèche sur le groupe moteur (le lit se baisse, le rouleau tourne dans le sens du flèche) ( voir images 2 et 3) ATTENTION: si pas bien effectuée, cette opération peut causer des sérieux dommages au dispositif SENS DE ROTATION DE L ARBRE Fig. 2 SENS DE DÉROULEMENT DES CEINTURES ETRIERS DE STABILITE AVEC GLISSEUR EN PLASTIQUE FLÈCHE POUR LE SENS DE ROTATION Fig Fig. 4 2) Fixer les 2 étriers de stabilité pour glisseur de guidage ceintures au bord du plan du lit et parfaitement en axe avec les ceintures (fig. 3). 3) Poser le plan du lit dans son logement dans le véhicule et faire remonter les 4 ceintures au dehors des bords latéraux du plan. Fixer aux parois les 4 «plaques pour fixation des ceintures» réf ZF00 (c est au client de fixer les plaques sur un support de matériel apte à supporter la portée du mécanisme + et son poids (400 Kg) avec au moins 12 vis 4,8x25 pour chaque plaque) et prêter attention pour qu elles soient en axe avec les ceintures correspondantes et pour qu elle soient à l hauteur maximale à la quelle on veut faire arriver le mécanisme. 4) Poser le sommier sur 4 supports de la même dimension et qui ont été placés dans les 4 coins dans la position la plus baisse à la quelle on veut faire arrêter le mécanisme.

37 5) Vérifier que les goujons pour la fixation des ceintures aux rouleaux soient correctement introduits et la présence des arrêtoirs ; il est important d avoir au moins 2 tours des ceintures sur les «arbres enrouleur des ceintures» avant de positionner les ceintures dans les «plaques pour fixation des ceintures» (fig.4) (toutes les 4 ceintures doivent avoir les mêmes pré roulements autrement le lit remonte de travers. 6) Fig. 6: Fixer les ceintures selon la procédure suivante: poser la ceinture sur la plaque fixée à la paroi, positionner la première plaque mobile sur la plaque fixe, replier la ceinture et la poser sur la première plaquette ; introduire la deuxième plaquette; insérer les 4 écrous de fixation sur les vis à filet de la plaque fixe, bien tendre les ceintures et serrer les écrous de fixation avec un system à croix. 7) Poser les éléments de glissement pour la stabilité du lit et prêter attention au parallélisme des ceintures ( n 2 glissières pour la stabilité des ceintures aux parois réf XXX ). 8) Connecter le dispositif à l implantation électrique (seulement pour série 12579). 9) Seulement pour série 12579: Réglage du point d hauteur maximale souhaitée : déplacer la butée (fig. 7) du fin de course tout à droite, faire monter le mécanisme jusqu à l hauteur souhaitée, ramener la butée à gauche jusqu à son contact avec l étrier d arrêt. Bloquer la butée 12) Réglage des étriers de stabilité: avec le lit en position tout haut, espacer en égale mesure le sommier des glissières pour la stabilité soit à droite qu à gauche et puis fixer les vis de blocage (fig. 10) point B. Procéder avec le test en baissant et remontant le lit. Le dispositif est fourni avec la butée de fin de course pour la descente du lit déjà réglée (pas modifiable) ATTENTION! Seulement pour série POUR RAISONS DE SÉCURITÉ ET DE STABILITÉ DU DISPOSITIF, QUAND LE PLAN DU LIT EST DANS LA POSITION TOUT BAISSE, LES ROULEAUX POUR LES CEINTURES DOIVENT AVOIR OBLIGATOIREMENT AU MOINS 2 TOURS DE PRÉROULEMENT DE LA CEINTURE 37 Fig. 6

38 Régler la butée de fin de corse électrique. (fig. 7) Seulement pour série VIS POUR LE RÉGLAGE DE LA BUTÉÉ DE FIN DE COURSE TENDEUR DE CHAÎNE Fig. 7 En cas de jeu sur l axe à la sortie du «groupe moteur» on peut éventuellement l éliminer selon la procédure suivante : desserrer le boulon avec deux clés de 17 mm. Démonter la plaque où on avait fixé les butées de fin de course pour vérifier que la chaine soit bien tendue. Faire le réglage en vissant également les deux vis de diamètre 6 avec un tournevis cruciforme et contrôler que la chaîne ne soit pas trop tendue, serrer de nouveau le boulon avec 2 clés de 17 mm (fig. 7). Après le montage vérifier l absence des jeux ou des mouvements mécaniques qui indiquent une mauvaise installation - INSTALLATION ÉLÉCTRIQUE (seulement pour série 12579): ACTUATEUR ÉLÉCTRIQUE 38 CONNECTEUR Fig. 8 Suivre soigneusement les plan de connexions électriques fourni avec le kit (plan de connexion fig.11). Pendant l installation il faut se conformer aussi aux règlements CE en vigueur. Le choix pour la position de l interrupteur doit être fait avec soin. Normalement la position la plus apte est dans la soute afin de pouvoir vérifier visuellement pendant l actionnement, les encombrements qui peuvent être présent dans la soute. Par contre on peut mettre l interrupteur aussi dans un autre endroit mais il ne doit pas être accessible aux enfants Après l installation électrique on peut procéder à la mise en œuvre et au contrôle du produit. La commande électrique du mécanisme variateur d hauteur du lit doit être dérivée du tableau de bord du véhicule sur le quel il faudra installer un dispositif pour le sectionnement et la protection (fusible Max 15 A.). L installation électrique directement à la ligne d alimentation à la batterie du véhicule est interdite sans des dispositifs pour le sectionnement et la protection (l installation d un fusible de protection ne suffit pas). Le producteur décline toutes responsabilités en cas de défaillance de l appareil ou du véhicule qui sont dû à une mauvaise installation du dispositif sur le véhicule. 6.0 MISE EN OEUVRE ET ESSAI FINAL Le produit est livré au Client entièrement testé et prêt pour la mise en œuvre. Les opérations de mise en œuvre et essai du produit, une fois installé sur le véhicule, devront être effectuées par du personnel spécialisé afin d éliminer tout risques liés à la première mise en œuvre du produit

39 Toutes les opérations de mise en œuvre et essai doivent être effectuées par du personnel qualifié et autorisé. 7.0 DOMAINE D EMPLOI ET UTILISATION PRÉVUE Le mécanisme n a pas été conçu, produit et testé pour le fonctionnement dans autres applications qui ne sont pas des véhicules et avec un haut niveau de pollution des substances chimiques comme le chlore, l ammoniaque et des produits similaires, ou dans enivrements à risque d incendie et explosions et endroits avec un haut risque électrique. Le produit devra être destiné exclusivement à l utilisation pour laquelle il a été conçu, c est à dire monter et baisser le lit dans véhicules de loisirs. Autres applications dans environnements qui ne sont pas des véhicules ne sont pas prévues. En particulière il n est pas prévu d utiliser le mécanisme en question pour monter et baisser lits, plans ou poids dans environnements domestiques (par exemple : chambres, cuisine etc.) ou de travail (par exemple laboratoires, hôpitaux, en compte des tiers etc.) ou pour le loisirs (par exemple : auberges, hôtels, campings, etc.).! LA MANUTENTION DU MÉCANISME AVEC DES PERSONNES SUR LE LIT EST INTERDITE! CETTE OPERATION EST EXTREMEMENT DANGEREUSE! Tous le cas indiqués dans les exemples sont explicatifs mais pas limitatifs. Le Fabricant ne peut pas être considéré comme responsable des dommages éventuels découlant d une utilisation inadéquate, erronée et illégitime. L utilisateur devra observer les normes de sécurité en vigueur dans le pays d installation, outre aux règles de bon sens et s assurer que les opérations d entretien périodiques soient correctement effectuées. L utilisateur, les techniciens préposés à la mise en place et à la maintenance ont l obligation de communiquer au Fabricant tous défauts ou détériorations éventuels pouvant compromettre la sécurité originale de l installation. Les responsabilités découlant des composants commerciaux montés sur le produit sont déléguées aux constructeurs respectifs; les responsabilités du personnel autorisé à utiliser le produit sont déléguées au Client DÉMARRAGE ET FONCTIONNEMENT Avec le véhicule en phase de stationnement, le mécanisme pour lit relevable en hauteur est commandé par l operateur en agissant sur un interrupteur; une fois l interrupteur poussé, le mouvement continue jusqu à la butée où il s arrêt automatiquement grâce à la butée du fin de course électrique qui débranche l alimentation du moteur de commande. Au déclenchement de l interrupteur, le mouvement du lit s arrête. S assurer qu aucun enfant ne se trouve à proximité du marchepied lorsque ce dernier est en service. 8.1 DISPOSITIFS DE SÉCURITÉ Les différents modèles ont été conçus et réalisés en tenant compte de tous les critères principaux de sécurité de manière à réduire et/ou annuler tout élément de risque lié au fonctionnement 8.2 DISPOSITIF POUR LA PROTECTION DU MOTEUR. Tous les modèles de mécanismes sont pourvus d un système pour la protection du moteur électrique en cas de surcharges mécaniques qui pourraient agir sur le moteur pendant son fonctionnement.! INTERDICTION DE MONTER OU STATIONNER SUR LE LIT QUAND IL EST EN MOUVEMENT NE PAS ACCEDER AUX PARTIES DU MÉCANISME QUAND CELUI-CI EST EN MOUVEMENT 9.0 AVERTISSEMENTS FONDAMENTAUX Les dispositifs de sécurité ne doivent pas être modifiés. Il est absolument interdit de monter ou descendre sur le lit quand il est en mouvement. Ne pas interférer avec le lit avec des objets ou encore moins avec vos mains pendant son fonctionnement

40 Avant de démarrer et mettre en marche le véhicule s assurer visuellement que le lit soit en position fermé et de sécurité. Ne pas utiliser le mécanisme et le lit de manière inadéquate Le dispositif doit être utilisé seulement par des personnes adultes et responsables et pas sous l effet des substances alcooliques ou des stupéfiants. Avant le démarrage de la course du lit, s assurer qu aucun objet ou personne stationne dans le rayon d action du lit ou SUR LE LIT! 10.0 ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE Afin d assurer une utilisation du mécanisme sans défaillance et dans des conditions de sécurité maximales pour les opérateurs, il est opportun de suivre le programme de contrôle et entretien mentionné dans ce chapitre. Le respect des normes prévues pour la maintenance périodique et le contrôle de tous les composants du mécanisme est essentiel afin d identifier des anomalies éventuelles avant qu elles se manifestent et donc de les éviter où et quand nécessaire. Les différents modèles ont été conçus et réalisés afin de réduire au minimum les interventions de maintenance INTERVENTIONS D ENTRETIEN Il faut vérifier périodiquement l état d usure des ceintures et les conditions de réglage du tendeur de chaîne. C est important de vérifier périodiquement les conditions du mécanisme et son nettoyage. Avant de débuter les opérations de maintenance s assurer que le véhicule soit stationné en condition de stabilité sûre Après avoir vérifié la stabilité du véhicule déconnecter l installation électrique du mécanisme de la batterie du véhicule. Dans tous les cas, les normes générales ci-dessous devront être respectées: Toute réparation d urgence et/ou temporaire exécutée par du personnel non qualifié et non autorisé est interdite. Maintenir le mécanisme en ordre et propre. Conserver l intégrité du mécanisme. Pour des interventions plus compliquées faire recours à du personnel spécialisé DEPOSE ET DESTRUCTION Les mécanismes ont été conçus et réalisés pour une durée de vie d au moins 500 heures de fonctionnement non continu et de toute façon seulement si les procédures d entretien mentionnées dans ce manuels sont observées. Avant de débuter les opérations de dépose, pourvoir à déconnecter l installation électrique du mécanisme de la batterie du véhicule. Il faudra démonter les composants essentiels du mécanisme. Les opérations de démontage devront être exécutées en portant des gants et des moyens de protection personnelles (M.P.I) pour éviter tout écrasement, cisaillement et coupure. Après avoir démonté l appareil, sélectionner les composants et les confier à des Organismes habilités à leur destruction Les opérations de démontage et destruction doivent être effectuées par du personnel qualifié et autorisé. LE FABRICANT NE SERA PAS RESPONSABLE DE LA RE-UTILISATION DE COMPOSANTS OU MATERIELS PROVENANT DU DEMONTAGE DU MÉCANISME. - ELIMINATION DES PIECES ÉLECTRIQUES ET ÉLECTRONIQUES: On définit «déchets d équipement électriques ou électroniques» au «RAEE» les équipements électriques ou électroniques qui sont considérés déchets aux termes de l article 6, alinéa 1, lettre a) du décret-loi 5 février 1997, n 22 et modifications suivantes, les composants, les sous-ensembles et le matériels consommables qui font partie intégrante du produit ; un usage impropre des équipements ou de pièces des équipements peut causer graves dommages à l environnement et à la santé des personnes à cause des substances dangereuses qu ils contiennent.aux termes du décret-loi 151/2005, il est donc obligatoire de ne pas éliminer les RAEE comme déchets urbains et de collecter ce type de déchets séparément ; il faut autrement appliquer les sanctions prévues en cas d élimination illégale de déchets, comme prévu par le décret-loi 5 février 1997,n 22. L administration publique ou les particuliers, sur base volontaire, établissent les systèmes de collecte des RAEE et les «centres de collecte de RAEE» comme espaces, locaux et structures établies pour la collecte sélective et le dépôt temporaire de RAEE aux quels les particuliers peuvent s adresser. Les particuliers peuvent, d ailleurs, restituer l équipement au distributeur à l achat d un nouvel équipement.

41 Le symbole qui indique la collecte sélective d équipement électriques et électroniques (AEE) est un conteneur des ordures avec des roues, barré : le symbole a été imprimé directement sur le produit de façon visible, lisible et indélébile INFORMATIONS DE CARACTERE GENERAL SUR LES NORMES DE SECURITE Tous les organes dangereux tels que les arbres, poulies, chaînes, couronnes dentées, etc., ont été isolés et protégés, dans les limites de fabrication, par des panneaux de protection. Ces derniers, représentent une séparation efficace entre les éléments dangereux et l homme et ne doivent pas être enlevés, même temporairement. Toute modification/altération pendant la durée de vie du mécanisme doit être exclue. Dans le cas où il serait nécessaire d enlever les protections, l opérateur devra se conformer aux notices de sécurité visant à sauvegarder lui-même et toute autre personne se trouvant dans le rayon d action du mécanisme. Dans tous les cas les protections devront être remises en place dès que l opération de maintenance est terminée. En particulier, pendant la phase de maintenance il faudra se rappeler que: Avant de débuter toute opération s assurer que le véhicule soit stationné en conditions de stabilité sûre. Toute opération doit être exécutée lorsque l appareil est en état d arrêt et après avoir coupé la tension 13.0 CONDITIONS GENERALES DE GARANTIE Le Fabricant Project 2000 garantit les différents composants du mécanisme pour une période de 24 mois à partir de la date d achat du produit. La garantie ne couvre pas les ceintures puisqu il s agit de matériel sujet à usure. Les pièces défectueuses ne devront pas être altérées (modifiées). Les pièces modifiées ou partiellement démontées seront exclus de la garantie. La garantie ne couvrira pas les postes de commande électriques dans le cas où une connexion incorrecte à l installation serait vérifiée: dans ce cas, la réparation sera débitée au propriétaire. Le Fabricant pourra décider de remplacer les pièces défectueuses au lieu de les réparer. Toutes demandes de garantie devront être accompagnées par les données apposées sur la plaque d identité du dispositif, sans ces données on ne peut pas avancer une demande en garantie. 41 Tout dédommagement pour dommages indirects est strictement exclus La garantie comprend la réparation ou remplacement de la pièce auprès du Fabricant Project 2000 S.r.l.. Les frais d expédition éventuels (pour les pièces de rechange sous garantie) ainsi que les coûts de main d œuvre auprès des distributeurs ne sont pas compris dans la garantie et sont à charge du requérant. Pour tous les litiges l autorité judiciaire du tribunal de Florence (Italie) est compétente PROCEDURE POUR LES DEMANDES EN GARANTIE Les procédures à suivre en cas de panne sont les suivantes: 1. Le produit ne doit pas être altéré (aucune des ses composants) 2. Le produit intact tel comme on l avait reçu, doit être envoyé au frais du client, à la société Project 2000 S.r.l. accompagné par une brève description du défaut relevé et avec toutes les données imprimées sur la plaquette d identité du dispositif. 3. La Ste Project 2000 S.r.l. contrôle et teste le produit puis elle dresse un report de ce qu on a relevé sur le produit et envoie le report au client. 4. Si la défaillance est imputable à un défaut de construction, la Ste Project 2000 S.r.l. réparera le produit, ou si une réparation n est pas possible, la pièce ou tout le produit sera remplacé en garantie seulement si le défaut a été relevé d ici 24 (vingtquatre) mois après la date d achat du produit 5. Se le dommage est imputable à un emploi inadéquat du produit ou à une manque des opérations d entretien ou s il n est pas imputable à un défaut de construction, la Ste Project 2000 S.r.l informera le client (point 2). Le client communiquera à Project 2000 par écrit si faire réparer le produit ou remplacer une pièce ou tout le produit. Dans ce cas la, Project 2000 S.r.l. débitera toujours et dans tous cas les couts nécessaires pour la réparation ou remplacement du produit et les frais de transport pour le retour du produit au client.

42 6. Les frais de transport (aller / retour) sont toujours à charge du client. 7. Le produit défectueux peut été réparé ou remplacé seulement et exclusivement par Project 2000 S.r.l qui pourtant ne remboursera aucun coût pour éventuelles frais indirectes de main d œuvre, montage et démontage, transporte ou n importe quel autre chose le client puisse soutenir pour essayer de réparer le défaut. 8. Si le dommage n est pas imputable à un défaut de construction et donc il ne rentre pas dans les termes de garantie, le client doit se charger de toutes frais nécessaires pour la réparation ou pour le remplacement du produit, compris le transport sans aucune exception. 9. Dieses Handbuch stellt ein nützliches Hilfsmittel dar, zur besseren Kenntnis und Nutzung Ihres HÖHENVERSTELLERS PROJECT Bitte vor Benutzung der Vorrichtung aufmerksam lesen. Das Handbuch ist für den Benutzer und/oder das Wartungspersonal dieser Vorrichtung bestimmt und ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Vorliegendes Handbuch hat die Aufgabe, wichtige Hinweise zum korrekten Gebrauch des Höhenverstellers, zur fachgerechten Wartung und zum Schutz der Sicherheit des Benutzers zu übermitteln. BESTIMMUNG DES HANDBUCHSVorliegendes Handbuch ist für den Benutzer des Geräts und für die für Handhabung, Installation, Gebrauch und Überwachung, sowie Wartung und Entsorgung der Vorrichtung zuständigen Personen bestimmt.zweck DES HANDBUCHS Dieses Handbuch dient zur Verdeutlichung der Benutzung der Vorrichtung laut Projektauslage und technischen Eigenschaften, es gibt Hinweise in Bezug auf fachgerechte und sichere Handhabung, Installation, sowie Montage, Einstellung und Gebrauch, des weiteren beinhaltet es Hinweise bezüglich der Wartungseingriffe, erleichtert die Bestellung von Ersatzteilen und gibt ebenfalls Hinweise über eventuelle Gefahrenquellen. EINHALTUNG DER GESETZLICHEN VORSCHRIFTEN Gleichzeitig mit der Einhaltung der Vorschriften laut Angaben dieses Handbuchs müssen auch die entsprechenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften zur Verhütung von Unfällen am Arbeitsplatz eingehalten werden. AUFBEWAHRUNG DES HANDBUCHS Das Handbuch ist als festes Bestandteil der Vorrichtung zu betrachten und muß bis zur Entsorgung des Gerätes in gutem Zustand aufbewahrt werden. Das Handbuch sollte an einem trocken, geschützten Ort aufbewahrt werden und vor Einfall von Sonnenlicht geschützt sein. Angebracht ist die Aufbewahrung in griffbereiter Nähe des Gerätes. ERSATZ DES HANDBUCHS Bei Beschädigung kann eine Kopie des Handbuchs bei der Herstellerfirma auf eigene Kosten bestellt werden, unter Angabe der Erkennungsdaten, die auf einem auf der Vorrichtung angebrachten Schild zu entnehmen sind. HINWEISE FÜR DEN BENUTZER 1. Vorliegendes Handbuch spiegelt den aktuellen technischen Stand des Gerätes wieder und kann wegen Verbesserungen, die auf neuen Erfahrungen basieren, nicht als unzutreffend betrachtet werden. 2. Der Hersteller behält sich das Recht vor, die Produkte und entsprechenden Handbücher auf den neusten Stand zu bringen, wobei die Verpflichtung zur Erneuerung der vorhergehenden Produkte und Handbücher entfällt. 3. Die Eigenschaften der eingesetzten Materialien können jederzeit Änderungen unterliegen, je nach dem neuesten Stand der Technik, wobei der Hersteller nicht verpflichtet ist, dies vorher mitzuteilen. 4. Die allgemeine Garantie gilt nicht in folgenden Fällen: Unsachgemäße Aufbewahrung Störungen bedingt durch falsche Montage nicht fachgerechter Gebrauch Übersteigen der Leistungsgrenzen übermäßige mechanische und/oder elektrische Belastung Gebrauch unter den in Punkt 4 beschriebenen Bedingungen. 46

DIE HUBVORRICHTUNG kann, wie alle anderen sich in Bewegung befindenden Vorrichtungen, eine große Gefahrenquelle darstellen, wenn sie nicht fachgerecht und/oder ohne den entsprechenden Schutz in Gebrauch genommen werden. Folgendes fällt unter die Zuständigkeit des Anwenders, der garantiert daß: alle Transportvorgänge, Anschlüsse, Wartungen und Reparaturen von autorisiertem Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden. Unter Fachpersonal versteht sich (laut IEC 364) jene Personen, die durch ihre Ausbildung, Schulung, Erfahrung, Kenntnis der Vorschriften und Normen, Maßnahmen zur Unfallverhütung und Bedingungen zum Einsatz und Service in der Lage sind, jeglichen notwendigen Eingriff vorzunehmen und dabei jede mögliche Gefahr und jeden Schaden zu vermeiden sucht. dieses Personal verfügt über alle notwendigen Angaben und Informationen Das Handbuch muß während der gesamten Lebensdauer der Vorrichtung aufbewahrt werden und jedem weiteren Benutzer oder nachfolgendem Besitzer ausgehändigt werden. Die Angaben in vorliegendem Handbuch ersetzen nicht die Sicherheitsvorschriften und die technischen Daten für Installation und Betrieb, die direkt auf dem Produkt und auf den Verpackungen angebracht sind. Vorliegendes Handbuch spiegelt den zurzeit aktuellen Stand der Technik wieder und kann wegen eingesetzter Verbesserungen, die auf neue Erfahrungen basieren, nicht als unzutreffend betrachtet werden. Der Hersteller behält sich das Recht vor, Änderungen an dem Handbuch vorzunehmen, ohne verpflichtet zu sein, die vorigen Ausgaben zu aktualisieren. Ein nicht fachgerechter Gebrauch der Vorrichtung oder ein Gebrauch, der den Angaben dieses Handbuchs nicht entspricht, schließt jede Verantwortung und Garantie von Seiten des Herstellers aus; der Gebrauch muß von einem verantwortungsbewussten Erwachsenen vorgenommen werden. Vorliegendes Handbuch muß sorgfältig aufbewahrt werden, da der Hersteller nicht für Schäden einsteht, die an Personen oder Gegenständen entstehen oder die durch Vorrichtungen verursacht werden, die nicht laut den Hinweisen dieses Handbuchs zum Einsatz kommen oder wenn die Vorschriften für Wartung und Sicherheit nicht beachtet werden. Die genaue Kenntnis des Produktes und die Beachtung der Hinweise laut vorliegenden Unterlagen sind unabdingbare Bedingungen zur Gewährleistung der Sicherheitsvoraussetzungen und des korrekten Betriebes. Es ist daher notwendig, die folgend aufgeführten Hinweise genau zu beachten. Bei eventuellen Störungen oder Defekten, ausgenommen gewöhnliche Wartungsvorgänge, wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an unseren Kundenservice, um mögliche Alterationen zu vermeiden, die Sicherheit, Zuverlässigkeit und Funktionalität des Produktes gefährden. 47 Alle Eingriffe am Gerät müssen in jedem Fall von qualifiziertem und autorisiertem Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden! Die Vorrichtungen wurden laut EG Vorschrift 89/392 und UNI EN Norm entwickelt und produziert und entsprechen den geltenden Gesetzen. Sicherheitsvorrichtungen jeglicher Art dürfen vom Käufer weder entfernt noch verändert werden. Bei Nichtbeachtung des obigen Verbotes lehnt der Hersteller jegliche Verantwortung ab. Jede andere Veränderung, die weder die Existenz noch die Wirksamkeit der installierten Vorrichtungen negativ beeinträchtigt, muß dennoch dem Hersteller zur Zustimmung vorgelegt werden und laut gesetzlichen Vorschriften ebenfalls den entsprechenden Behörden zur technischen Abnahme, wobei der Käufer dafür Sorge zu tragen hat und die Kosten trägt. Der Hersteller gewährt auf die einzelnen Bestandteile der Vorrichtung eine zweijährige Garantie für Produktionsfehler. Vorliegendes Handbuch muß dem Benutzer und/oder Wartungspersonal immer zur Hand liegen, wobei auch das Wartungspersonal über den korrekten Gebrauch und eventuelle Gefahren informiert werden muß. Es muß an einem trockenen, sauberen und vor Hitze geschützten Ort aufbewahrt werden. Beschädigen Sie das Handbuch nicht. Vermeiden Sie, Seiten herauszureißen, zu überschreiben oder zu entfernen, sollte es verloren gehen oder benötigen Sie weitere Auskünfte, so wenden Sie sich bitte an die gebietszuständige Verkaufsstelle oder direkt an den Hersteller.

Verpackungsart: - wenn es als Einzelstück zum Versand kommt, besteht die Verpackung aus einem Karton - bei Versand von mehreren Stücken werden die Vorrichtungen auf gut geschützen Paletten verpackt. Mit dem Transport wird eine Spedition beauftragt. Bei Ankunft der Ware überprüfen Sie bitte genau, ob die Vorrichtung keine Beschädigungen aufweist und komplett ist und teilen dem Spediteur umgehend etwaige Beschädigungen mit. Bei offensichtlicher Beschädigung bitte die Verpackung aufbewahren, damit sie von der mit dem Transport beauftragten Firma inspektioniert werden kann. Auf Lieferschein und Rechnung eventuelle Unregelmässigkeiten notieren. In diesem Fall setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit der Spedition in Verbindung und machen Sie Ihren Schadensersatz geltend. Sollte die Lieferung nicht dem Auftrag entsprechen, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an die Lieferfirma. Alle Beschädigungen oder Nichtübereinstimmungen müssen umgehend angezeigt werden. Eventuell eingefügte Materialien, die zum Schutz dienen, müssen ihrer Beschaffenheit nach entsorgt werden. An Verpackungsmaterial kann man sich schneiden oder sonstweitig verletzen und sie können bei unsachgemäßer oder fahrlässiger Handhabung gefährlich werden. 51 Abb. 4 2) Die 2 Stabilisierungsbügel (Art. Nr O-ZFOO) perfekt ausgerichtet mit den Gurten an den Bettgestellkanten befestigen (Abb. 3). 3) Die Bettauflage im Reisemobile an den vorgesehenen Platz montieren, dabei acht geben, dass die 4 Gurte an den Seitenkanten der Auflage hervorragen. Die 4 Gurtbefestigungspaltten (Art. Nr O-ZFOO) ausgerichtet mit den jeweiligen Gurten an den Seitenwänden befestigen (der Kunde trägt Sogre und Verantwortung dafür, dass die Befestigungsplatten mit mindestens je 13 Schrauben min. 4,8 x 25 an einem Träger befestigt werden, der geeignet ist, das Gewicht der Belastung und der Vorrichtung selbst (400 kg) auszuhalten) und darauf achten, dass sie sich in der maximalen Höhe befinden, die das Hubsystem erreichen soll. 4) Das Bettgestell auf 4 gleich lange Stützen in den 4 Ecken positionieren, am tiefsten Punkt, auf dem das Bett arretieren soll. 5) Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Bolzen, die die Gurte an den Gurtaufrollrohren halten, korrekt eingesetzt sind und dass die Ausreißsperren vorhanden sind. Wichtig: die Gurte müssen mindestens 2 mal um die Gurtaufrollrohre gewickelt werden, bevor sie in den Befestigungsplatten für Gurte (Abb. 4) positioniert werden (alle 4 Gurte müssen die gleiche Aufwicklung haben, sonst fährt das Bett schief hoch). 51 6) Abb. 7: Die Gurte laut folgenden Anweisungen befestigen: den Gurt auf die an der Wand befestigten Platte legen, das erste bewegliche Plättchen auf der festen Platte positionieren, den Gurt zusammenfalten und auf das ertse Plättchen legen; das zweite Plättchen einlegen ; die 4 Befestigungsmuttern auf die Gewindeschrauben der festen Platte drehen, die Gurte gut spannen und die Befestigungsmuttern mit einem Kreuzschlüsssel anziehen. 7) Die Gleitsysteme zur Stabilisierung des Bettes montieren, dabei darauf achten, dass die Gurte parallel laufen (2Stabilisierungsschienen Art. Nr XXX). 8) Die Vorrichtung mit der elektrischen Anlage verbinden (Nur gültig für Serie 12579). 9) Nur gültig für Serie 12579: Regulierung der gewünschten maximalen Höhe: den Endschalter (Abb. 7) ganz nach rechts schieben, die Vorrichtung bis zur gewünschten Höhe hinauffahren, den Endschalter nach links schieben, bis er an den innen liegende Anschlagbügel stößt. Den Endschalter blockieren. Die Vorrichtung wird mit bereits eingestelltem Endschalter der Abfahrt geliefert (nicht modifizierbar). Nur gültig für Serie 12579

(Abb.7) lockern. Die Platte abnehmen, auf der die Endschalter befestigt sind und die Spannung der Kette kontrollieren. Einstellung durch gleichmäßiges Anziehen der beiden Schrauben mit einem Ø 6 Kreuzschlüssel, dabei darauf achten, dass die Kette nicht übermäßig gespannt ist, den Bolzen mit 2 Schlüsseln 17 mm wieder anziehen. Nach Beendigung der Montage kontrollieren, dass die Vorrichtung kein Spiel oder mechanische Bewegung hat, Zeichen für nicht korrekte Installation.

53 - ELEKTRISCHE INSTALLATION (Nur gültig für Serie 12579): ELEKTRISCHER AKTUATOR KONNEKTOR Abb. 8 Bitte halten Sie sich genau an das elektrische Schema, das jeder Vorrichtung beiliegt (Verbindungsschema Abb. 11). Bei der Installation müssen die entsprechenden aktuellen CE Normen respektiert werden. Die Position des Bedienungschalters muss sorgfältig gewählt werden. Normalerweise wird empfohlen, den Schalter innerhalb der Garage zu montieren, damit während des Herunterfahrens der Platz in der Garage kontrolliert werden kann. Er kann aber auch an anderen Stellen positioniert werden; es muss jedoch immer darauf geachtet werden, dass er für Kinder nicht leicht zugängig ist.. Nach Beendigung der elektrischen Installation kann die Vorrichtung in Betrieb genommen und getestet werden. Die elektrische Steuerung des Systems HÖHENVERSTELLER FÜR HECKBETTEN muss von dem Steuerpaneel des Fahrzeugs abgeleitet werden, auf dem sich eine geeignete Trenn- und Schutzvorrichtung befinden muss (Schmelzsicherung max. 15 A). Die elektrische Verbindung direkt an die Batterieversorgung des Fahrzeugs ohne Trenn- und Schutzvorrichtung ist nicht zulässig (die Installation einer Schmelzsicherung ist nicht ausreichend). Die Herstellerfirma lehnt jegliche Verantwortung für Betriebsstörungen der Vorrichtung oder des Fahrzeuges ab, die durch unsachgemäßen Einbau im Fahrzeug oder durch den Anschluß an eine nicht perfekt funktionierende elektrische Anlage verursacht wurden INBETRIEBNAHME UND ENDABNAHME Die Vorrichtung wird dem Kunden erst nach kompletter Kontrolle ausgehändigt und ist zur Inbetriebnahme bereit. Die Vorgänge, die die Inbetriebnahme und die Kontrolle des Produktes anbelangen, wenn es bereits am Fahrzeug montiert ist, müssen von Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden, um Gefahren auszuschließen, die mit der ersten Inbetriebnahme der Vorrichtung verbunden sind. Alle Inbetriebnahme und Kontrolle betreffende Vorgänge müssen von autorisierten Fachleuten durchgeführt werden. 7.0 ANWENDUNGSBEREICH UND VORGESEHENER GEBRAUCH Die Vorrichtung wurde nicht zum Gebrauch in feststehenden Räumen, bei großer Verschmutzung mit gasförmigen Chemikalien wie Chlor, Ammoniak und ähnliche, in Räumen mit Brand- und Explosionsgefahr und grossem elektrischem Risiko entworfen, konstruiert und getestet. Das Produkt darf nur für den Gebrauch bestimmt werden, für den es eigens konzipiert wurde, d.h. für die Auf- und Abwärtsbewegung des Bettes in Freizeitmobilen; diese Vorrichtung ist nicht für den Gebrauch in anderen Räumen vorgesehen. Insbesondere ist der Gebrauch dieser Vorrichtung nicht vorgesehen zum Hinauf- und Hinunterfahren von Betten, Rampen, Gewichten in Wohnräumen (z.b. in Schlafzimmern, Küchen etc.) oder Arbeitsräumen (z.b. Labors, Krankenhäuseren, Dienstleistungsberiechen) oder Freizeitgebäuden (z.b. Herbergen, Hotels, Zeltplätzen).

54 ! DIE BEWEGUNG MIT SICH AUF DEM BETT BEFINDENDEN PERSONEN IST VERBOTEN! DIESER VORGANG IST ÄUßERST GEFÄHRLICH! Alle erwähnten Fälle sollen nur als Beispiel dienen und nicht als einschränkend aufgefasst werden! Der Hersteller kann nicht als verantwortlich betrachtet werden für sonstige Schäden, die von einem missbräuchlichen, unkorrekten oder sinnlosen Einsatz verursacht werden. Der Benutzer muss sich an die in den jeweiligen Ländern gültigen Sicherheitsnormen halten, in denen die Installation gemacht wird und an die Regeln des gesunden Menschenverstands und sich dabei vergewissern, dass die Wartungsarbeiten korrekt und zeitgemäβ durchgeführt werden. Der Installateur, der Benutzer oder die zuständige Person für die Wartung sind darauf verpflichtet, dem Hersteller jegliche Defekte oder Schäden zu melden, die die Sicherheit der Vorrichtung gefährden könnten. Die Verantwortung, die aus den Zukaufteilen enstammt, die in der Vorrichtung integriert sind, liegt bei den entsprechenden Herstellern; die Verantwortung des autorisierten Personals über den Einsatz des Produkts werden dem Kunden delegiert. 8.0 STARTEN UND BETRIEB Bei stillstehendem Fahrzeug wird die Betthebe- und Senkvorrichtung mittels der dazu vorgesehenen Taste von dem Bediener gesteuert; bei gedrückter Taste erfolgt die Bewegung bis zum Endschalter und wird automatisch unterbrochen durch einen elektrischen Endshalter, der die Motorversorgung trennt. Beim Loslassen der Taste wird die Bewegung unterbrochen. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine Kinder in unmittelbarer Nähe der Vorrichtung befinden, wenn diese in Betrieb ist. 8.1 SICHERHEITSVORRICHTUNGEN Bei Entwurf und Herstellung der verschiedenen Modelle wurden grundsätzliche Sicherheitskriterien beachtet, um Gefahrenquellen, die mit dem Betrieb verbunden sind, zu reduzieren und/oder auszuschalten. Im Besonderen möchten wir hier auf die Existenz folgender Sicherheitsvorrichtungen hinweisen: 8.2 MOTORSCHUTZSYSTEM (NUR GÜLTIG FÜR SERIE 12579) Die verschiedenen Modelle der Vorrichtung sind mit einem Motorschutzsystem gegen mechanische Überlastungen ausgestattet, die während des Betriebs auf den Motor einwirken könnten. 54! ES IST VERBOTEN, DAS BETT ZU BESTEIGEN ODER DARUF ZU SITZEN / LIEGEN, WENN ES IN BEWEGUNG IST NICHT IN DAS SYSTEM/MECHANIK DES HÖHENVERSTELLERS GREIFEN, WENN DIESER IN BEWEGUNG IST. 9.0 ALLGEMEINE WARNHINWEISE - Die verschiedenen Sicherheitsvorrichtungen dürfen auf keinen Fall beschädigt werden. - Während der Bewegung der Bett ist es absolut verboten dieses zu besteigen - Nicht mit Gegenständen oder gar mit den Händen auf das Bett einwirken, während es in Bewegung ist. - Bevor Sie Ihr Fahrzeug in Bewegung setzen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Bett in Ruheposition und gesichert ist. - Benutzen Sie das Bett und die Vorrichtung nicht in unsachgemäßer Weise - Die Betätigung der Stufen darf nur durch verantwortungsbewußte Erwachsene erfolgen, die nicht unter Einfluss von Alkohol oder Drogen stehen. - Vergewisseren Sie sich, dass sich keine Gegenstände oder Personen im Aktionsbereich ODER AUF DEM BETT befinden, bevor Sie die Bewegung des Bettes aktivieren 10.0 WARTUNG UND REINIGUNG

55 Damit die Vorrichtung störungsfrei bleibt und um dem Benutzer maximale Sicherheit zu gewährleisten, ist es angebracht, dem Kontroll-und Wartungsprogramm in diesem Kapitel Folge zu leisten. Die Normen der regelmäßigen Wartung sollen eingehalten und Kontrollen an allen Komponenten der Vorrichtung vorgenommen werden, damit eventuelle Mißstände noch vor deren Auftreten festgestellt und behoben werden können. Entwurf und Produktion der verschiedenen Modelle sind auf minimale Wartung ausgerichtet EINGRIFFE DER WARTUNG Es müssen periodische Kontrollen des Verschleißzustands der Gurte und der Regulierung des Kettenspanners durchgeführt werden. Es ist wichtig, regelmäßig den Allgemeinzustand und die Sauberkeit zu kontrollieren. Bevor jeglicher Eingriff zur Wartung vorgenommen wird, überzeugen Sie sich, dass das Fahrzeug standfest geparkt ist. Nachden Sie sich von der Standgfestigkeit des Fahrzeugs überzeugt haben, lösen Sie die elektrische Anlage der Hubvorrichtung von der Fahrzeugbatterie. Beachten Sie auf jeden Fall diese allgemeinen Normen: Jeder Noteingriff und/oder provisoriesche Reparatur durch nicht qualificatives/autorisiertes Personal ist untersagt. Die Vorrichtung muss in Ordnung und in sauberem Zustand gehalten werden. Die Integrität der Vorrichtung muss bewahrt werden. Kompliziertere Eingriffe müssen von Fachleuten durchgeführt werden ABBAU UND ENTSORGUNG Die Herstellerfirma hat die Vorrichtung für eine Lebensdauer von mindesten 500 Betriebsstunden entworfen und produziert, dies gilt ausschließlich bei eingehaltenen Wartungsvorschriften laut vorliegendem Handbuch. Bevor Sie mit dem Abbau beginnen, unterbrechen Sie die Stromzufuhr der Vorrichtung von der Batterie des Fahrzeuges. Die Vorrichtung muß in ihre wesentlichen Komponenten zerlegt werden.. Nur mit Handschuhen und anderen persönlichen Schutzvorichtungen arbeiten (M.P.I.) um eventuelle Verletzungen durch Schneiden, Quetschen und Abrasionen zu vermeiden. Nach Abbau und Sortierung der Einzelteile eine autorisierte Firma mit der Entsorgung beauftragen. Abbau und Entsorgung muß von autorisierten Fachleuten vorgenommen werden.. FÜR EVENTUELLE WIEDERVERWENDUNG VON EINZELTEILEN ODER MATERIALIEN, DIE VOM ABBAU DER VORRICHTUNG HERSTAMMEN, IST DIE HERSTELLERFIRMA NICHT VERANTWORTLICH. - ENTSORGUNG ELEKTRISCHER UND ELEKTRONISCHER TEILE: Es gelten als Abfälle von elektrischen und elektronischen Teilen oder RAEE, alle elektrische und elektronische Einrichtungen, die gemäß Artikel 6, Absatz 1, Buchstabe a), der Rechtsverordnung vom 5. Februar 199j7, Nr. 22 und folgenden Änderungen als Abfall gelten, einschliesslich aller Komponenten, Teilmengen und Verbrauchsmaterialien, die Bestandteil des Produkts sind; eine unangemessene Anwendung dieser Einrichtungen oder Teilen dieser Einrichtungen kann die Umwelt und die menschliche Gesundheit durch Anwesenheit von gefährlichen Stoffen schwer beschädigen. Gemäß der Rechtsverordnung 151/2005 ist es daher obligatorisch, die RAEE nicht als Stadtmüll, sondern solche Produkte getrennt zu entsorgen: ansonsten werden die Snktionen angewendet, die im Falle von unbefugter Abfallentsorgung gemäß der Rechtsverordnung vom 5. Februar 1997, Nr. 22 vorgesehen sind Von der öffentlichen Verwaltung oder von Privatunternehmen wurden Sammelsysteme und Sammelpunkte für RAEE bestimmt wie Räume, Gebäude und Einrichtungen für die getrennte Sammlung und die vorläufige Lagerung von RAEE, an die Privatpersonen sich direkt wenden können. Außerdem besteht für Privatpersonen die Möglichkeit, dem Händler die Vorrichtung beim Kauf einer neuen Vorrichtung zurückzugeben. 55

56 Das Symbol, das die getrennte Sammlung der elektrischen und elektronischen Einrichtungen (RAEE) zeigt, ist ein durchgestrichener Müllbehälter auf Rädern: das Symbol wird sichtbar, lesbar und unauslöschbar direkt auf das Produkt gedruckt ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE ZU DEN SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN Alle gefährlichen Bestandteile, wie Wellen, Rollen, Ketten, Zahnräder usw. werden durch geeignete Schutzvorrichtungen isoliert und abgeschirmt, soweit es die Konstruktion erlaubt. Oben genannte Schutzplatten, die eine wirksame Trennung zwischen Mensch und Gefahrenelement darstellen, dürfen weder zeitweise noch gänzlich entfernt werden und während der gesamten Lebensdauer der Vorrichtung muß jegliche Beschädigung vermieden werden. Wenn es notwendig ist, diese Schutzvorrichtungen abzunehmen, muß der Benutzer dennoch die Sicherheitsvorschriften genau beachten, die zu seinem Schutz und dem anderer Personen dienen, die sich im Bereich der Vorrichtung befinden. Sofort nach Abschluß der Wartungsarbeiten sollten die Schutzvorrichtungen wieder angebracht werden. Bei der Wartung muss besonders Folgendes beachtet werden: vor Beginn der Arbeiten überprüfen, dass das Fahrzeug standfest geparkt ist. nur bei stehender Vorrichtung und nach Stromunterbrechung darf mit den Arbeiten begonnen werden ALLGEMEINE GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN Die Herstellerfirma Project 2000 S.r.l. garantiert die Komponenten der Vorrichtung für 24 Monate ab Kaufsdatum. Die Gurte sind in der Garantie nicht inbegriffen, da es sich um Verschleißmaterial handelt. An defekte Einzelteile darf keine Hand gelegt werden. Teile, an die Hand gelegt wurde oder die teilweise auseinander gebaut wurden, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen. Ebenfalls von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind elektrische Komponenten, wenn eine nicht korrekte Verbindung mit der Anlage festgestellt wird. In diesem Fall wird die Reparatur in Rechnung gestellt. Die Entscheidung, ob defekte Einzelteile repariert oder ersetzt werden, liegt beim Hersteller Project 2000 S.r.l.. Jeder Garantieantrag muss von allen Daten begleitet werden, die auf dem Identifizierungsschild der Vorrichtung angegeben sind; ohne diese Daten kann einem Garantieanspruch nicht stattgegeben werden. 56 Schadenersatzanforderungen für indirekte Schäden sind völlig ausgeschlossen. Die Garantie beinhaltet die Reparatur oder den Austausch des Teiles bei der Herstellerfirma Project 2000 S.r.l.. Eventuelle Transportkosten (für Einzelteile in Garantie) sowie Arbeitslohn bei den Händlern sind in der Garantie nicht inbegriffen VORGANG FÜR DIE AKTIVIERUNG DER GARANTIE Für jeden Streit ist das Gericht des Forums von Florenz (Italien) zuständig. Bei eventuellen Schäden bitte vorgehen wie folgt: 1- es darf auf keinen Fall Hand an das Produkt gelegt werden 2- das Produkt muss, so wie es geliefert wurde, auf Kosten des Kunden zusammen mit einer kurzen Beschreibung des festgestellten Schadens und mit allen auf dem Identifizierungsschild der Vorrichtung angegebenen Daten an Fa. Project 2000 S.r.l. zurückgeschickt werden. 3- Fa. Project kontrolliert und testet das Produkt und verfasst einen Bericht über den Befund, der dem Kunden zugeschickt wird. 4- Wenn der Schaden auf einen Konstruktionsfehler zurückzuführen ist, nimmt Fa. Project die Reparatur vor oder tauscht die Einzelteile oder das Produkt in Garantie komplett aus, wenn der Fehler innerhalb von 24 (vierundzwanzig) Monaten nach Kaufdatum festgestellt wurde. 5- Wenn der Schaden auf unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder mangelnde Wartung zurückzuführen ist und jedenfalls alle indirekte Schäden, die nicht auf Konstruktionsfehler zurückzuführen sind, wird Fa. Project 2000 S.r.l. den Kunden informieren (Punkt 2). Der Kunde teilt Fa. Project schriftlich mit, ob diese die Reparatur oder Ersatz der Teile vornehmen oder, wenn Fa. Project 2000 snc es für angebracht hält, das ganze Produkt ersetzen soll, jedoch immer unter Belastung der Reparatur- oder Ersatzteilkosten und der Rückversandkosten.

57 6- Die Transportkosten (Hin und Zurück) gehen immer zu Lasten des Kunden. 7- Das fehlerhafte Produkt kann einzig und allein bei Fa. Project 2000 S.r.l. repariert oder ersetzt werden, die keinerlei Kosten für Arbeitslohn, Ein- oder Ausbau, Transport oder andere dem Kunden beim Versuch einer Nacharbeit entstandene Kosten zurückerstattet. 8- Wenn es sich nicht um einen Konstruktionsfehler handelt und kein Garantieanspruch geltend gemacht werden kann, muss der Kunde alle bei der Reparatur oder Ersatz entstandenen Kosten tragen, einschließlich Transportkosten, ohne Ausnahme. 9- Falls die für die Reparatur benötigte Zeit zu lang sein sollte oder für den Kunden (Hersteller) der Ersatz des Produkts unumgänglich ist, kann, im Einverständnis beider Parteien, Fa. Project entscheiden, dem Kunden ein neue Produkt zukommen zu lassen, bevor Fa.
