Le produit sera transféré étendre l'utilisation de l'outil de formation de à la Lituanie, la Lettonie et la zone serait créer les conditions préalables de l'expansion à d'autres zones géographiques (à l'aide de la version anglaise de l'outil). À la fin des partenaires du projet explorera les possibilités de «l'exportation» à d'autres zones géographiques. Résumé: (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle, including the processes of construction and facility operation. Typically BIM uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and construction. However, most architects/engineers in Lithuania and Latvia (as well as in other Western European countries (The Business Value of BIM in Europe, 2010)) make design drawings by using 2D computer-aided design (i.e., drawings and specifications) as the primary means to represent and communicate design intent for client approval, bidding, procurement, fabrication, construction and installation. At the same time, most of the construction workers have limited knowledge in using ICT solutions in construction process. The main addressed problem by BIMTRAIN project - lack of relevant skills, knowledge and tools related to BIM both in VET, higher education and business sectors, what does not allow to exploit the possibilities provided by ICT during construction process. BIMTRAIN project covers 7 partners form 3 countries. The project consortium was formed in order to reach a balance between various stakeholders covering all the relevant experience and sectors: - Itannex (the Netherlands), UAB AGA CAD (Lithuania), SIA AGA (Latvia) - represents private sector and are experienced organizations both in providing specialised trainings, and in development various programming solutions for this target group, including BIM. - RIVC represents NGO sector, which experts have huge experience in project management, EU project management, innovation transfer, educational sector and qualification analysis. - VSRC, VGTU, RTU represents educational organizations, responsible for educating main target group and would be very important multipliers of the BIMTRAIN tool to the whole VET system. The main project result created and adapted English, Lithuanian and Latvian version of tool, aimed at the provision of training in BIM used both by educational institutions and private companies. Target groups of BIMTRAIN project: - Lecturers, students and pupils of construction, architecture, engineering studies; - Employees of construction, architecture and design companies. 2

3 LDV-TOI-2013-LT-0133) Information sur le projet The transferred product will extend the use of training tool to Lithuania, Latvia area and would create preconditions of expansion to other geographical areas (using English version of the tool). By the end of the project partners will explore the possibilities of "exporting" it to further geographical areas. It is expected that in the long-term the tool would be used by the business companies, educational institutions in UK, Ireland, and Nordic countries - the developed tool is used by at least 10 educational institutions and 20 private companies in the different European countries. 9 Produit 'Feasibility Analysis on BIM training needs' Titre: Feasibility Analysis on BIM training needs Type de Produit: Texte marketing: Feasibility analysis was necessary for focusing BIMTRAIN tool development (adaptation) according to the target group needs and made it clear what type of adaptations are necessary from the smartrevit.com solution. Description: Feasibility analysis was conducted in order to get deeper understanding of BIM related learning and training approaches, experiences and programs consolidated for the targeted competencies. Feasibility analysis with special focus on Lithuanian, Latvian VET and educational systems was carried on in project partner organizations, in order to find out the critical (cognitive, experiential and emotional) learning dimensions and the target groups' needs. 10 Produit 'Guidelines for methodological framework of the BIMTRAIN tool' Type de Produit: Titre: Guidelines for methodological framework of the BIMTRAIN tool Texte marketing: The document provided the clear insight how to improve the structure of the BIMTRAIN tool and to exploit it better in order to satisfy the target groups' needs. Description: The main goal of the guidelines for methodological framework is to transfer, integrate and enrich the methodological framework developed by the solution exporter, adding the additional competencies, training methods thus developing relevant background for the BIMTRAIN tool's training material and environment. The starting point of the document was the translation of the existing tool content and training methods, which gave an insight what further should be elaborated in order to satisfy the target groups' needs (gap analysis). During this activity the training material, learning activities were updated, amended and integrated into BIMTRAIN tool. The content is provided in structured way, where users can find information about BIM, BIM standards, digital construction and etc. The core of the BIMTRAIN tool is the 110 up to 5 min long videos with clear instructions how to use BIM software.
