3 L histoire en marche Fort de son histoire et de son enracinement séculaire, fort de ses valeurs et de sa nouvelle dimension de plus grande «winery française» et de plus gros producteur organisé français, fort de ses ambitions et de son esprit pionnier, le Groupe Val d Orbieu-Uccoar à travers sa Holding «La Languedocienne» s est doté d un nouveau nom fédérateur et porteur de son identité : VINADEIS. Un nouveau symbole, l ammonite, illustre à la fois l ancrage du Groupe et son évolution. Symbole d histoire, d authenticité, de rayonnement et d expansion, il incarne également les valeurs coopératives du Groupe. Cette nouvelle identité va fédérer non seulement tous les terroirs du Groupe dont les vignobles s étendent sur plus de hectares mais aussi tous ses métiers. 7 vignerons des Corbières en 1967, aujourd hui plus de 1600 vignerons, 120 salariés dans les coopératives de village et près de 400 collaborateurs, le Groupe recèle tant de richesses mais aussi tant d identités (coopératives, domaines, outils industriels et filiales) qu il fallait simplifier son discours et hisser un étendard unique et fédérateur pour le représenter. Ainsi se poursuit l histoire du Groupe, VINADEIS sera le nom qui portera son héritage et il sera le garant de ses valeurs ; il le représentera sur ses marchés et dans ses développements futurs. VINADEIS est aujourd hui le premier groupe coopératif viti-vinicole de France et l un des plus significatifs de la planète hectares de vignoble, 45 Domaines et Châteaux, 11 centres de vinification, hl de vin/an, hl commercialisés/an, des filiales en Chine, Hong Kong, Taïwan, Japon, Thaïlande, en Russie et aux Etats-Unis. 2

4 VINADEIS, une identite chargée de sens Le Groupe est né dans le berceau de la vigne en France : le Languedoc Roussillon sur un territoire de plus de 2600 ans de tradition viti-vinicole. Les Phocéens y ont apporté les premiers cépages et l art de la taille, les Romains ont fait de la vigne une économie puissante, ils en ont même construit la «Voie Domitienne» qui reliait l Espagne à l Italie en traversant la Gaule Narbonnaise! ll n est donc pas étonnant que ce nouveau nom porte quelques consonances d origine latine Ce nom est un hommage à un héritage et à un savoir-faire plurimillénaires, aux terroirs bénis des Dieux, baignés de soleil ainsi qu aux vins et boissons produits par le Groupe. Un nouveau symbole, l ammonite (empreinte sur les pierres que l on trouve souvent dans les vignes) illustre à la fois l ancrage du Groupe et son évolution. 5 New History identity in the making With the strength of its history and its ancient roots, the strength of its values and its new size as the largest French winery and the largest organised French producer, with the strength of its ambitions and its pioneering spirit, the Group Val d Orbieu-Uccoar through its Holding Company La Languedocienne has a new unifying name to bear witness to its identity: VINADEIS. A new symbol, the ammonite, illustrates both the integration of the Group and its evolution. A symbol of history, authenticity, prestige and expansion, it also embodies the cooperative values of the Group. This new identity will unite not only all the Group s terroirs, with vineyards spread over more than hectares, but also all of its roles. 7 winegrowers from the Corbières in 1967, and today more than 1600 winegrowers, 120 employees in village cooperatives and almost 400 employees, the Group holds so much wealth but also so many identities (cooperatives, estates, industrial units and subsidiaries) that it was necessary to simplify its identity and raise a unique and unifying banner to represent it. 6 VINADEIS, the Group s new name The Group was founded in the birthplace of the vine in France: the lands of the Languedoc Roussillon with more than 2600 years of winemaking tradition. The Phocaeans brought the first grape varieties and the art of pruning, while the Romans made the vine economically important, even constructing the Via Domitia linking Spain to Italy and passing through the Gaul of Narbonne! It is not surprising therefore that this new name has a certain Latin sound to it... A new symbol, the ammonite (stamped into stones that can often be found in the vineyards) illustrates both the integration of the Group and its evolution. A symbol of history and authenticity, it also embodies the cooperative values of the Group as well as its national and international prestige. This new identity will unite not only all the Group s terroirs, with vineyards spread over more than hectares, but also all of its roles. 9 The ammonite, the group s new symbol A HISTORICAL AND AUTHENTIC SYMBOL This symbol is a reminder that the Group was founded in the historic birthplace of viticulture and that it is an heir to thousands of years of know-how. It is proud to be part of this wine culture that is so authentically French. A SYMBOL THAT UNITES ALL OUR TERROIRS This ammonite, which it is not unusual to find in the soils of the vineyards, is reminiscent through its shape and colour of the sun that bathes this beautiful region and in part gives its wines their generous and friendly character. A SYMBOL OF THE GROUP S SPECIAL CHARACTER AS A COOPERATIVE This symbol is made up of a multitude of elements, just like the collective of women and men that make up the Group. Driven by a cooperative spirit, the Group forms a whole, united around strong values of solidarity and fairness. A SYMBOL OF PRESTIGE AND EXPANSION This organic symbol, with its expanding shape, embodies a group which continues to move forward in a determined way, with assertiveness and confidence.
