Votre M220E dispose de la fonction Mains Libres qui permet de converser avec un correspondant sans avoir le combiné en main. Vous pouvez ainsi vous déplacer et converser les mains libres autour du poste, sans contrainte. Vous pouvez également faire participer votre entourage à la conversation, créant ainsi une ambiance plus conviviale. Votre M220E peut être raccordé sur le réseau public et fonctionner avec les services Opérateurs, notamment avec le service «Présentation du numéro». Votre M220E, s il est raccordé avec un autocommutateur d entreprise, vous donnera accès aux fonctions mises à votre disposition par ce type de système. N utilisez ni solvant ni produit ménager, il gardera ainsi son aspect neuf. Ne pas installer l appareil dans une pièce humide. Dans les zones à risques d orages fréquents, protégez l appareil avec un dispositif de protection contre les surtensions électriques (obligatoire dans certains départements) et vérifiez que votre assurance couvre ce type de dégâts. Raccordement électrique : alimentation sur réseau 230 V, courant alternatif monophasé à l exclusion des installations à schéma IT définies dans la norme EN Attention, la tension du réseau est classée excessive selon les critères de la même norme. Par précaution, en cas de danger, le bloc d alimentation secteur sert de dispositif de sectionnement de l alimentation 230 V. Il doit être installé à proximité du matériel et être aisément accessible. Raccordement téléphonique : les tensions présentes sur ce réseau sont classées TRT (Tension Réseau Téléphonique) au sens de la norme EN Le marquage CE atteste de la conformité des produits aux règlements techniques applicables à la date de l agrément conformément respectivement aux Directives et dispositions complémentaires 73/23/CEE pour la sécurité usagers et 89/336/CEE pour les perturbations électromagnétiques. En cas de coupure secteur : Sans courant secteur M220E fonctionne partiellement. Vous pouvez seulement émettre des appels en décrochant le combiné au préalable. Les mémoires enregistrées seront sauvegardées. PAGE 6

A la réponse de votre correspondant, vous pouvez converser. Utiliser la fonction Mains Libres 1 - Appuyez sur la touche. Vous entendez la tonalité et le voyant de la touche s allume. 2 - Composez le numéro de votre correspondant. A la réponse de ce dernier, vous pouvez converser les mains libres, à environ 50 cm autour de l appareil. FRANCAIS Pour passer en conversation discrète et interrompre la fonction Mains Libres, décrochez le combiné. Le haut-parleur se coupe automatiquement. Remarque : dans ce cas, vous pouvez converser de manière totalement confidentielle à travers l écouteur et le micro du combiné. Le micro intégré et le haut-parleur de la base sont coupés. Pour repasser en conversation Mains Libres, appuyez à nouveau sur puis raccrochez le combiné. Remarque : dans ce cas, vous devez raccrocher le combiné car celui-ci devient inutilisable. Lorsque vous utilisez la fonction Mains Libres, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser en même temps le combiné et inversement. Utiliser la fonction BIS Le dernier numéro composé reste en mémoire jusqu à la composition d un nouveau numéro. Décrochez le combiné ou appuyez sur, puis appuyez sur. La ligne est prise et le numéro composé automatiquement. Pour effacer le numéro mémorisé dans le, décrochez, tapez au clavier puis raccrochez. RECEVOIR UNE COMMUNICATION Lorsque le poste sonne, décrochez le combiné ou appuyez simplement sur. Vous pouvez converser. PAGE 7

7 MNPS8592XAA.qxd 6/12/00 10:24 Page 8 8 EN COURS DE COMMUNICATION Régler le volume du haut-parleur ou de l écouteur Appuyez sur - ou + pour régler le volume - du haut-parleur en conversation Mains Libres - ou de l écouteur en conversation au combiné. Utiliser la fonction secret Vous êtes en communication avec un correspondant en Mains Libres ou avec le combiné. Appuyez sur pour couper le micro du Mains Libres ou du combiné selon le cas. Votre correspondant ne vous entend plus. L afficheur indique SECRET. Appuyez à nouveau pour rétablir le micro et poursuivre la conversation. SECRET METTRE FIN A UNE COMMUNICATION Raccrochez le combiné. Si vous utilisez la fonction Mains Libres Appuyez sur. REGLER LA SONNERIE Changer la mélodie (3 choix) 1 - Appuyez sur puis sur 6. La mélodie en cours est diffusée. 2 - Appuyez successivement sur ou sur. A chaque appui, la nouvelle mélodie est diffusée. 3 - Appuyez sur pour confirmer le choix. 2 bips sont émis. Régler le volume (3 niveaux) Positionnez le commutateur situé sous l appareil (voir p. 5), - sur pour obtenir une sonnerie forte, - sur pour obtenir une sonnerie moyenne, - sur pour obtenir une sonnerie faible. 8 MNPS8592XAA.qxd 6/12/00 10:24 Page 9 PROGRAMMER UNE MEMOIRE M220E dispose d un répertoire alphanumérique de 3 mémoires à accès direct et de 20 mémoires à accès indirect (20 caractères maximum pour le numéro, y compris *, # et 10 caractères maximum pour le nom). 1 - Appuyez sur. 2 - Appuyez sur puis tapez un chiffre de 01 à 20 au clavier pour sélectionner une mémoire. ou appuyez sur, ou. 3 - Saisissez le nom à l aide des touches du clavier en utilisant les correspondances des touches avec les lettres. Pour cela : - Sélectionnez la lettre désirée par appuis successifs sur la touche correspondante. - Attendez 2 secondes pour valider la lettre et passer à l emplacement suivant. - Pour saisir un espace, un tiret ou une barre, appuyez successivement sur la touche 1. MEMOIRE NOM?_ Appuyez sur pour effacer une saisie, si besoin. 4 - Appuyez sur pour saisir le numéro d appel. L afficheur présente également le numéro de la mémoire (exemple : M01). 5 - Composez le numéro de téléphone. M01:_ Appuyez sur pour confirmer. 2 bips sont émis, la mémoire est enregistrée. Procédez de même pour chacune des mémoires. Pour arrêter la programmation en cours d enregistrement, appuyez sur. Les informations ne sont pas conservées. PAGE 9

Le nom s affiche. 3 - Appuyez sur pour effacer la mémoire. 4 - Procédez comme décrit page 9 (à partir de 3 -) pour enregistrer les nouvelles mémoires. Consulter les mémoires indirectes 1 - Appuyez sur puis tapez le n d une mémoire (01 à 20). Le nom s affiche puis, après 3 secondes, le numéro. 2 - Appuyez sur ou sur pour faire défiler les autres mémoires. Lorsqu une mémoire est affichée, vous pouvez appeler le correspondant en appuyant sur ou en décrochant le combiné. 3 - Appuyez sur pour arrêter la consultation. Consulter les mémoires directes 1 - Appuyez directement sur, ou. Lorsqu une mémoire est affichée, vous pouvez appeler le correspondant en appuyant sur ou en décrochant le combiné. 2 - Appuyez sur pour arrêter la consultation. Appeler une mémoire 1 - Décrochez le combiné ou appuyez sur. 2 - Appuyez sur puis tapez le n d une mémoire (01 à 20) ou appuyez directement sur, ou. La ligne est prise et le numéro est composé automatiquement. Effacer une mémoire Lorsqu une mémoire est affichée, 1 - appuyez sur pour effacer la mémoire. 2 - Appuyez sur puis sur pour confirmer. 10 MNPS8592XAA.qxd 6/12/00 10:25 Page 11 UTILISATION SUR RESEAU PUBLIC Si votre M220E est directement raccordé sur le réseau public : il vous permet d utiliser les services proposés par les Opérateurs, pour la plupart accessibles par abonnement. Identification de l appelant* Le service d identification de l appelant, permet de connaître l identité de l appelant (numéro ou éventuellement nom) avant d entrer en communication avec celui-ci. Si vous êtes abonné à l identification de l appelant, au premier appel, l horloge s affiche ; la mise à jour des heure et date est automatique. FRANCAIS Dès qu il sonne, l écran affiche le numéro de votre correspondant NEW TOTAL Lorsque le correspondant appartient au répertoire, l écran affiche son nom et son numéro alternativement. MATRA NEW TOTAL Lorsque le correspondant a souhaité protéger son identité, l afficheur indique xxxxxxx. xxxxxxx NEW TOTAL Lorsque le correspondant n est pas reconnu (appel de l étranger, ou central non équipé de ce service) l afficheur indique Inconnu. INCONNU NEW TOTAL Lorsqu un incident s est produit dans l identification du numéro d un appelant, l afficheur n indique rien. Remarque : Si ce problème devait se reproduire fréquemment, contactez votre Opérateur. NEW TOTAL Les appels non identifiés, ne sont pas mémorisés dans le journal (voir page 12). * Fonction nécessitant un abonnement complémentaire auprès de votre Opérateur PAGE 11

11 MNPS8592XAA.qxd 6/12/00 10:25 Page UTILISATION SUR RESEAU PUBLIC (suite) Associé au service Identification de l appelant*, le journal des appels permet de mémoriser les appels reçus et non-répondus (30 enregistrements d appels), excepté les appels avec incidents. Un appel renouvelé plusieurs fois par le même appelant ne sera mémorisé qu une seule fois (le dernier appel). Lorsque le journal est plein, tout nouvel appel reçu efface le plus ancien (consulté ou non). Le voyant rouge qui clignote, indique la présence d au moins un nouveau message et l afficheur indique : - le nombre de nouveaux messages (NEW), - le nombre total de messages enregistrés (TOTAL). NEW TOTAL Consulter le journal des appels Appuyez sur. Lorsque au moins un nouvel appel a été enregistré (**), l afficheur indique le numéro du premier appel non consulté ainsi que l heure et la date de l appel. Si l appelant figure dans le répertoire, son nom est également présenté. Appuyez sur pour afficher l appel suivant ou sur pour afficher l appel précédent. Appuyez deux fois sur pour effacer l appel affiché. Appuyez sur pour arrêter la consultation. (**) En l absence de nouvel appel, les appels déjà consultés et non effacés sont affichés, du plus ancien au plus récent. Enregistrer dans le répertoire un numéro du journal Lorsque le numéro est affiché : 1 - Appuyez sur puis sur. 2 - Appuyez sur puis tapez le n d une mémoire (01 à 20) ou appuyez directement sur, ou. 3 - Saisissez le nom puis appuyez sur. (ou appuyez sur pour n enregistrer que le numéro). Le numéro est automatiquement saisi. 4 - Appuyez sur puis sur pour confirmer. 2 bips sont émis, le numéro est enregistré. Appeler un numéro du journal Appuyez sur ou décrochez le combiné, pour appeler le numéro affiché. Le numéro est composé automatiquement. Effacer tous les messages consultés : au repos, 1 - Appuyez sur. L afficheur indique EFFACER TOUT? 2 - Appuyez à nouveau sur pour confirmer l effacement. L afficheur indique MESS EFFACES. L extinction de ce pictogramme (lorsque tous vos messages ont été consultés) est gérée par la messagerie. Remarque : Pour identifier rapidement un appel de votre messagerie vocale dans le journal des appels, enregistrez en mémoire son numéro et le nom associé (exemple : B. Vocale, voir p. 9). FRANCAIS L exploitation des autres services Opérateurs* nécessitant l utilisation des touches,, vous est présentée dans les différents fascicules remis par l Opérateur lors de votre abonnement. Pour tous renseignements complémentaires concernant ces services, contactez votre Opérateur. With the M220E, you can write or get a document without interruping the conversation thanks to the time-saving handsfree calling feature. User-friendly, your M220E allows you to include colleagues in any conversation. Your M220E can be connected to the public network and used with Operators services, like «Caller Identification» service. Your M220E connected to a private network, gives you access to functions offered by this system. Please, read this manual carefully for more information about your M220E. Calling in Handsfree mode 1 - Press the key. You hear the tone and the line busy light is on. 2 - Dial your correspondent's number. When your correspondent answers, you can talk in Handsfree mode at approximately 50 cm around the set. To move to discreet conversation and interrupt the Handsfree function, pick the handset up from the base. The loudspeaker is automatically off. Note: in this case, you can have a confidential conversation trought the handset. The integrated microphone and the loudspeaker of the base are off. To return to Handsfree conversation, press and put the handset back on the base. Note: in this case you must put the handset back on the base becauce it is unusable. When you use Handsfree function, you can t use the handset and inversely. Calling the last number dialled (BIS) The last number you dial is stored in the memory up to dial another number. Pick up the handset or press key, and then press key. The line is seized and the number is dialled automatically. To delete the number stored in the, pick up the handset, then press key and put the handset back on the base. The correspondent is no longer able to hear you. MUTE is displayed. Press the key again to re-establish the micro and continue the conversation with the correspondent. MUTE ENDING A COMMUNICATION Put the handset back on the base. In Handsfree mode Press the key. SETTING THE RINGING Selecting the melody (3 melodies) 1 - Press the key and then 6 key. Caller identification* The Caller identification service allows you to identify a calling party by number or by name (eventually) before establishing the communication. Depending on your subscription, on the first call, the clock appears; the correct time and date are automatically set. As soon as a correspondent makes a call, the screen displays your correspondent's number NEW TOTAL If the correspondent appears in the directory, the screen displays your correspondent's number and name alternately. MATRA NEW TOTAL If the caller has protected his identity, the screen indicates xxxxxxx. xxxxxxx NEW TOTAL If the correspondent has not been identified (foreign call or no equiped system), the screen indicates UNKNOW. UNKNOW NEW TOTAL If an incident occurs during the identification of a caller number, the screen indicates nothing. Note: if you meet this problem repeatedly, please contact your Operator. Repeated calls from the same correspondent are stored once only (the last one). When the log is full, a new call delete the older (consulted or not consulted). The flashing red lamp, indicates the presence of at least 1 call which has not been consulted and the screen presents: - the number of new calls (NEW), - the number of stored calls (TOTAL). NEW TOTAL Consulting the calls log Press the key. When at least 1 new call is stored (**), the number of the first new call is displayed with date and time of calling. If the caller appears in the directory, the name is displayed alternately with the number. Press the key to display the following call or press key to display the previous call. Press twice the key to delete the displayed call. Press the key to end the consultation. (**) If there is no new call, the consulted and no-deleted calls are displayed, from the older to the recenter.
