3 Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde, wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für dieses Gerät entschieden haben. Mit diesem Dampfreiniger können Sie ohne chemische Zusätze ganz einfach Ihren Fußboden oder andere Oberflächen reinigen. Mit den verschiedenen Aufsätzen ist das Gerät vielseitig einsetzbar. Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Freude damit! DE Bitte lesen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes die Anleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie sie gut auf. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes ist diese Anleitung mit auszuhändigen. Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine Haftung, wenn die Angaben in dieser Anleitung nicht beachtet werden. 4 Sicherheitshinweise Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Dampfreinigen von glatten Oberflächen in trockenen Innenräumen vorgesehen. Es ist für den privaten Gebrauch konzipiert und für den gewerblichen Einsatz ungeeignet. Verletzungsgefahren für Kinder und Personen! Halten Sie die Verpackungsfolie von Kindern fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr! Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissens benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihnen Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Bewahren Sie den Artikel für Kinder unzugänglich auf! Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass es nicht zur Stolpergefahr wird! Richten Sie die Dampfaustrittsöffnung niemals auf Personen, Tiere oder empfindliche Gegenstände! Tragen Sie stets geschlossene Schuhe, wenn Sie das Gerät verwenden! Berühren Sie die Geräte-Oberflächen nicht während des Gebrauchs. Sie werden heiß! Lassen Sie sie zuerst vollständig abkühlen. Das Gerät muss im eingeschalteten Zustand stabil auf dem Fußboden stehen. Betreiben Sie es nicht, während Sie es tragen. Berühren Sie NIEMALS die Aufsätze während des Gebrauchs. Sie sind sehr heiß und können zu Verletzungen führen! Öffnen Sie niemals während des Betriebs den Tankdeckel! Wenn eine Tankfüllung verbraucht ist, dann warten Sie mindestens 20 Minuten, bis das Wasser im Tank abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie den Tank erneut befüllen. Elektrizität - Stromschlaggefahr! Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser ein, und halten Sie Feuchtigkeit von dem Netzstecker fern! Fassen Sie das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen an. Der Artikel ist nicht zur Verwendung im Freien geeignet. Schließen Sie den Artikel nur an eine Steckdose an, die ordnungsgemäß installiert ist und mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmt. Überprüfen Sie den Artikel vor jeder Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädigungen. Der Artikel darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn er sichtbare Schäden aufweist. Nehmen Sie den Artikel nicht auseinander. Lassen Sie Reparaturen ausschließlich von einer Fachwerkstatt oder dem Kundendienst durchführen.

5 Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen,......wenn Sie das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht verwenden,...vor einem Gewitter,...bevor Sie Wasser nachfüllen oder das Gerät reinigen,...bevor Sie die Aufsätze oder Frotteebezüge wechseln,...oder das Gerät verstauen. Verwenden Sie nur Zubehör, das im Lieferumfang enthalten ist oder ausschließlich vom Hersteller empfohlen wird. Wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen möchten, ziehen Sie nie am Kabel, sondern am Stecker. Lassen Sie ein beschädigtes Anschlusskabel nur durch den Hersteller, den Kundendienst oder einen Fachmann reparieren. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt! Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie den Raum verlassen. Bedampfen Sie niemals andere Elektrogeräte! Lagern Sie das Gerät niemals im Außenbereich! Richten Sie den Dampfstrahl niemals auf elektrische und elektronische Geräte, Anlagen oder Einrichtungen z.b. Innenraum von Öfen, Computer, etc. Brandgefahr Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass es nicht gequetscht oder geknickt wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt. Halten Sie das Gerät und das Kabel von Hitzequellen z.b. Heizung etc. fern. Vorsicht vor Materialschäden Benutzen Sie immer den Messbecher und füllen Sie nie mehr als 650 ml in den Tank! Transportieren oder bewegen Sie das Gerät niemals, indem Sie am Kabel ziehen oder es am Kabel tragen. Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gerätes keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberfläche des Gerätes beschädigen. Wischen Sie das Gerät bei Bedarf mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch ab. Probieren Sie das Gerät beim ersten Gebrauch an einer unauffälligen Stelle aus. Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, ob die Oberfläche durch den Dampf beschädigt werden könnte, kontaktieren Sie einen Fachmann. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel oder der Schlauch nicht einquetscht oder geknickt wird oder mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt. Füllen Sie niemals irgendwelche Zusätze, wie etwa Reinigungsmittel, Entkalkungsmittel (z.b. Essig), Alkohol oder Aroma-Stoffe in das Gerät! Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände in die Öffnungen / Düsen des Gerätes und achten Sie darauf, dass diese nicht verstopfen. 5

6 Wenn Sie das Gerät auf Laminat verwenden, achten Sie darauf, dass das Laminat fachgerecht verlegt ist und keine Lücken oder Risse aufweist, in die Feuchtigkeit eindringen kann. Für eventuelle Schäden wird keine Haftung übernommen. Bei Oberflächen, die mit Wachs behandelt wurden, kann das Wachs durch die Hitze und den Dampf entfernt werden! Richten Sie den Dampfstrahl nie zu lange auf eine Stelle. Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet für: unversiegelte Holzfußböden, weichen Kunststoff und Holzmöbel. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht auf gefrorenen Fensterscheiben! Gehen Sie bei der Verwendung auf Glas vorsichtig vor! Bruchgefahr! Ziehen Sie das Gerät nie am Dampfschlauch oder am Kabel! Sonstige Hinweise Benutzen Sie den Tragegurt, um das Gerät sicher und komfortabel zu transportieren. Versichern Sie sich, dass der Tragegurt sicher am Gerät befestigt ist. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in dunklen oder schlecht beleuchteten Räumen. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie länger als ca. 2-3 Sekunden an derselben Stelle. Die Oberfläche unterhalb des Dampfaustritts könnte beschädigt werden. Das Gerät kann mit normalem Leitungswasser betrieben werden. Um das Wasser von möglichen groben Verunreinigungen (z.b. Kalk) zu befreien, kann dafür der mitgelieferte Messbecher zusammen mit dem Filtereinsatz verwendet werden. 6

8 Inbetriebnahme Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung und überprüfen Sie, ob alle Teile vorhanden sind. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, kontaktieren Sie unseren Kundenservice. Aufsätze auswählen Verlängerungsrohre (5) Verwenden Sie diese Rohre zum Verlängern des Gerätes. 1. Halten Sie den Knopf am Griffende gedrückt und schieben Sie ein Verlängerungsrohr auf das Griffende, bis der Knopf in der Aussparung am Verlängerungsrohr einrastet. 2. Wenn Sie ein weiteres Verlängerungsrohr verwenden möchten, drücken Sie den Knopf an dem Ende des soeben angebrachten Verlängerungsrohrs und setzen Sie auf dieselbe Weise das zweite Verlängerungsrohr auf. Kleiner, runder Bürstenaufsatz (7) Es liegt dem Gerät ein runder Bürstenaufsatz bei. Er ist zum Reinigen von schwer zugänglichen Stellen, z.b. Fugen, sowie stark verschmutzten Stellen geeignet. Gehen Sie mit dem Bürstenaufsatz vorsichtig um! Die zu reinigenden Oberflächen könnten sonst beschädigt werden! 1. Halten Sie den Knopf am Schlauch- bzw. Rohrende gedrückt und setzen Sie die Fugendüse (6) auf, bis sie einrastet. Der Knopf muss dabei in der Aussparung am Aufsatz einrasten. 2. Schrauben Sie nun die gewünschte Bürste auf den Aufsatz. Sie können die Fugendüse auch ohne Bürste verwenden. Boden-Aufsatz (8) Prüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch den Frotteebezug (9) auf Verschleiß. Er darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn er verschlissen ist! Sie können den Boden-Aufsatz mit oder ohne Frotteebezug verwenden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen den Boden-Aufsatz z.b. auf Teppichböden ohne Tuch zu verwenden und auf glatten Böden, wie etwa Fliesen, Laminat, etc. das Reinigungstuch zu verwenden. 1. Setzen Sie, wie unter Verlängerungsrohre beschrieben die Verlängerungsrohre (5) auf das Griffende und dann den Boden-Aufsatz (8) auf das Verlängerungsrohr. Sie können, je nach Bedarf den Aufsatz auch ohne Verlängerungsrohr verwenden

9 2. Wenn Sie das Reinigungstuch verwenden möchten, stülpen Sie es über den Boden-Aufsatz und ziehen Sie es an dem Band fest. Machen Sie ggf. einen Knoten in das Band, damit das Bodentuch hält. Fenster-Aufsatz (10) 1. Setzen Sie bei Bedarf, wie unter Verlängerungsrohre beschrieben, die Verlängerungsrohre auf das Schlauchbzw. Rohrende und dann den Fenster-Aufsatz auf das Verlängerungsrohr. 2. Mit dem Dampf, der aus der Düse an der Unterseite des Aufsatzes austritt können Sie glatte Oberflächen, wie z.b. Fenster reinigen, und mit dem Abziehgummi, wie mit einem normalen Fensterwischer das Fenster abziehen. Kunststoff-Aufsatz (12) Verwenden Sie den Kunststoff-Aufsatz nicht auf hartem Untergrund, da dieser zerkratzt werden könnte. Der Kunststoff-Aufsatz ist geeignet zum Bedampfen von Gardinen oder Kleidung. 1. Halten Sie den Knopf am Schlauch- bzw. Rohrende gedrückt und setzen Sie den Kunststoff-Aufsatz (12) auf, bis er einrastet. Der Knopf muss dabei in der Aussparung am Aufsatz einrasten. 9

10 Wasser einfüllen Wenn das Gerät bereits in Benutzung war, dann beachten Sie unbedingt Folgendes: ACHTUNG! Verbrühungsgefahr! Öffnen Sie niemals während des Betriebes den Tankdeckel! Wenn eine Tankfüllung verbraucht ist, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und warten Sie mindestens 20 Minuten, bis das Wasser im Tank abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie den Tank erneut befüllen. Achtung: Seien Sie vorsichtig bezüglich des Dampfaustritts, wenn Sie die Abdeckung öffnen! Verbrühungsgefahr! Füllen Sie nicht mehr als 650 ml Wasser in den Tank! Füllen Sie NIEMALS andere Flüssigkeiten als Wasser in den Tank ein! Drücken Sie vor jedem Öffnen den Betätigungsschalter, um noch vorhandenen Druck im Inneren des Gerätes entweichen zu lassen. Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser eingeschaltet. Wenn kein Dampf mehr austritt, dann schalten Sie das Gerät umgehend aus. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Achtung Verbrühungsgefahr!: Wenn Sie diesen Schritt nicht befolgen, kann es zu Verletzungen kommen. Wenn Sie kaltes Wasser in das heiße Dampfreservoir geben, kann es passieren, dass heißes Wasser und Dampf aus der Tanköffnung emporschießen. Weitere Sicherheitshinweise finden Sie im Kapitel Sonstige Hinweise. 1. Klappen Sie die Abdeckung der Wassereinfüllöffnung nach oben (Abb.). 2. Drücken Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss nach unten, Halten Sie ihn dort und drehen Sie ihn GLEICHZEITIG entgegen des Uhrzeigersinns (Abb.). Nehmen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss ab. 3. Schütten Sie noch im Tank befindliches Wasser ab, damit Sie die Maximalmenge von 650 ml nicht überschreiten. 10

11 Warnung: Füllen Sie AUSSCHLIESSLICH Leitungswasser ein. Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder andere Flüssigkeiten. 4. Füllen Sie mithilfe des Trichters und des Messbecher max. 650 ml Wasser in die Einfüllöffnung ein. 5. Zum Verschließen der Einfüllöffnung drehen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss ca. 6 Umdrehungen im Uhrzeigersinn. Dann erhöht sich der Widerstand. Drehen Sie den Verschluss weiter, während Sie ihn ab jetzt GLEICHZEITIG gedrückt halten. Drehen Sie solange, bis der Sicherheitsverschluss fest verschlossen ist. Gerät anschließen und verwenden Richten Sie den Dampfstrahl niemals auf Personen oder Tiere! Verbrühungsgefahr! Richten Sie den Dampfstrahl niemals auf elektrische Betriebsmittel oder Einrichtungen! 1. Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an eine gut erreichbare Steckdose an. 2. Setzen Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz auf das Gerät. 3. Stellen Sie den roten Ein-/Ausschalter am Gerät auf I. Die Kontroll-Leuchte im Schalter leuchtet rot, die Gerätkontrollleuchte (Pfeil Abb.) leuchtet gelb. 4. Warten Sie etwa 3 Minuten, bis sich das Gerät aufgeheizt hat. 5. Drücken Sie den Dampf-Auslöser (Abb.). Es tritt Dampf aus dem gewählten Aufsatz aus. Lassen Sie den Dampf- Auslöser los, wenn Sie den Dampf-Ausstoß unterbrechen möchten. Bewegen Sie das Gerät über die zu reinigende Oberfläche. Probieren Sie es beim ersten Gebrauch an einer unauffälligen Stelle aus. Falls Sie sich nicht sicher sind, ob die zu reinigende Oberfläche mit dem Gerät behandelt werden darf, fragen Sie vorher einen Fachmann. Bitte beachten Sie: wird zwischen den Arbeitsgängen eine längere Pause gemacht, kann der Wasserdampf im Schlauch kondensieren. Bei Wiederaufnahme des Betriebs tritt dann zunächst Wasser aus. 11

12 6. Wenn Sie das Gerät ausschalten möchten, stellen Sie den roten Ein-/Ausschalter, auf O. 7. Wenn Sie während des Gebrauchs den Aufsatz wechseln möchten, drücken Sie die O -Taste des Ein-/Ausschalters, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie den Aufsatz auswechseln. 8. Ziehen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose! Nach dem Gebrauch 1. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch aus, indem Sie den roten Ein-/ Ausschalter auf O stellen. Die rote Kontroll-Leuchte und die gelbe Gerätekontrolleuchte erlöschen. 2. Ziehen Sie nach dem Gebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 3. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, und entleeren Sie den Wassertank, wie unter Pflege/Wartung beschrieben, bevor Sie das Gerät verstauen. 4. Reinigen Sie ggf. die Frotteebezüge, wie unter Pflege/Wartung beschrieben. Pflege / Wartung Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser ein. Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel. Geben Sie keine Entkalkungsmittel oder Ähnliches in das Gerät. Entleeren Sie den Wassertank nach jedem Gebrauch, um vorzeitige Verkalkung zu vermeiden! 1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. 2. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen oder den Wassertank leeren. 3. Öffnen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss wie unter Wasser einfüllen beschrieben. Das Wasser kann noch heiß sein. Verbrühungsgefahr 4. Drehen Sie das Gerät um, und schütten Sie das restliche Wasser aus dem Wassertank in einen Ausguss. Füllen Sie niemals Entkalkungsmittel o.ä. in den Wassertank ein. Füllen Sie etwa 1x im Monat etwas Wasser in den Wassertank und schwenken Sie es in dem Tank hin und her, um evtl. vorhandene Kalkrückstände zu lösen. Schütten Sie es dann vollständig aus. Lassen Sie das Gerät bei geöffnetem Wassertank trocknen. Wischen Sie das Gerät bei Bedarf mit einem feuchten Tuch und ggf. etwas mildem Reinigungsmittel ab. 12

13 Reinigen der Frotteebezüge Sie können die Frotteebezüge in der Waschmaschine bei 40 C reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine Bleichmittel! Fehler / Störungen beheben Problem Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe Es tritt kein Dampf aus. Es tritt Wasser statt Dampf aus. Beim Nachfüllen von Wasser treten Dampfstöße aus. Gerät nicht eingeschaltet, Dampf-Auslöser nicht gedrückt, Gerät nicht an Steckdose angeschlossen, oder Gerät ist noch nicht aufgeheizt. Der Wassertank ist leer. Das Wasser kondensiert im Rohr. Das Gerät ist noch zu heiß. Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät an eine Steckdose angeschlossen und eingeschaltet ist und ob der Dampf-Auslöser gedrückt ist. Das Gerät muss circa 60 Sek. aufheizen, bis Dampf austreten kann. Füllen Sie den Wassertank auf, wie unter Wasser einfüllen beschrieben. Drücken Sie den Dampf- Auslöser so lange, bis Dampf austritt. Legen Sie ggf. ein Tuch unter den Aufsatz, da Wasser austreten kann. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie Wasser nachfüllen. 13

16 Safety Instructions Proper Use This unit is solely intended to steam clean smooth surfaces in dry indoor areas. It is intended for private use and not suitable for commercial application. Danger of injury to children and adults! Store the packaging wrapper out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation! This unit is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or those lacking experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed by said party in how to use the unit. Children must be under supervision to ensure that they do not play with the device. Store the article out of the reach of children! Lay the cable such that there is no danger of tripping over it! Never point the steam emitting outlet in the direction of other persons, animals or fragile objects! Always wear enclosed shoes when using the steam cleaner! Do not come into contact with the surfaces of the appliance while using it. They become hot! Allow them to cool off first. The unit must have a stable position on the floor when activated. Never use the unit while carrying it. NEVER come into contact with the adapters during use. They are very hot and may cause injury! NEVER open the cap of the tank while the unit is running! When the content of the tank is empty, wait min. 20 minutes till the water in the tank is cooled! Only after the cooling refill the tank again. Electricity danger of electrocution! Never submerge the unit in water and keep the plug away from moisture! Do not touch the unit with wet hands. The product is not suitable for outdoor use. Only connect the product to an electrical socket, which has been properly installed and complies with the device s technical specifications. Check the product for damages prior to each use. The product may not be used, if it exhibits visible damages. Do not disassemble the product. Only have repairs conducted by a qualified workshop or by customer service. 17 Turn the device off, disconnect the plug from the socket and allow it to cool off completely, when you are not using the device for a prolonged period of time,... before a storm... before filling it with water or before cleaning the unit,... before changing the adapters or terry cloth pads,... or before putting the unit away. When you remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but on the plug. Only have a damaged connecting cable repaired by the manufacturer, customer service or a qualified professional. Never leave the appliance unattended during use! Turn the unit off and disconnect the mains plug from the socket before you leave the room. Never steam other electronic devices! Never store the unit outdoors! Fire hazard Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Keep the device and the cord away from heat sources e.g. radiators and the like. Attention to material damages Always use the measuring beaker and never fill the tank with more than 650 ml! Never transport or move the unit by pulling by the cord or carrying it by the cord. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance. These can damage the surface of the appliance. As needed, clean the appliance with a soft, dry towel. When trying out the device for the first time, do so in an inconspicuous area. If you are uncertain as to whether the surface could be damaged by the steam, please consult a professional. Ensure that the cord or the hose is never crushed or kinked or that it comes into contact with hot surfaces. Never fill up the unit with any kind of additives such as cleaners, decalcifiers (e.g. vinegar), alcohol or aromatic chemicals! Do not insert any objects in the unit s openings/nozzles and ensure that they are not blocked. 17

18 If you are using the unit on laminate, ensure that the laminate has been laid properly and that it does not exhibit any gaps or cracks, which can be penetrated by moisture. Any damages are not covered by commitment. Surfaces, which have been treated with wax, may lose their coat due to heat and steam! Never apply the vapour stream to one area for an excessive amount of time. The device is not suitable for: unsealed wood floors, soft plastic and wood furniture. Do not use the unit on frozen window panes! When using the unit on glass, proceed with caution! Risk of rupture! Never pull the unit by the steam hose or by the cord! Other notes Use the carrying strap in order to transport the unit in a safe and convenient manner. Ensure that the carrying strap has been securely attached to the unit. Do not use the unit in dark or poorly lighted rooms. Never use the unit for longer than approx. 2 3 seconds in one area. The surface under the steam outlet may be damaged as a result. The unit can be actuated by normal tap water. For cleaning the water (f.i.lime) use the delivered measuring cap and the water filter. 18

20 Start-up Remove the device from the packaging and check if all components are present. If this is not the case, contact our customer service centre. Selecting an adapter Extension tube (5) Use these tubes in order to extend the length of the unit. 1. Hold down the button on the handle end and slide an extension tube onto the handle end until the button locks into place in the recess on the extension tube. 2. If you wish to use another extension tube, press down the button on the end of the extension tube, which you have just mounted, and mount the second extension tube in the same manner. Small, round brush head (7) A round brush head is included with the unit. It is suitable for cleaning hard to reach areas, e.g. tiles as well as areas with heavy dirt. Use the brush head with caution! Otherwise, the surfaces to be cleaned may be damaged! Floor adapter (8) 1. Hold down the button on the hose resp. tube end and mount the tile nozzle (6) such that it locks into place. For this, the button must lock into the recess on the adapter in the process. 2. Now screw the desired brush onto the adapter. You can also use the tile nozzle without brushes. Each time before using the unit, check the terry cloth pad (9) for wear. It may not be used if it is worn out! You can use the floor adapter with or without the terry cloth pad. We recommend using the floor adapter with a pad e.g. on carpet floors and the cleaning pad on smooth floors such as tiles, laminate, etc. 1. Mount the extension tubes (5) on the handle end as described under Extension tubes and then mount the floor adapter (8) on the extension tube. You can, as needed, also use the adapter without an extension tube

21 2. If you would like to use the cleaning pad, pull it over the floor adapter and tighten it using the strap. If applicable, tie a knot in the strap to hold the floor pad in place. Window adapter (10) 1. If needed, mount the extension tubes on the hose resp. tube end as described under Extension tubes and then mount the window adapter on the extension tube. 2. With the steam, which is omitted from the nozzle on the bottom of the adapter, you can clean smooth surfaces such as e.g. windows and with the squeegee, as with a normal window wiper, wipe off the window. Plastic adapter (12) Do not use the plastic adapter on a hard floor as it could be scratched. The plastic adapter is suitable for steaming curtains or clothing. 1. Hold down the button on the hose resp. tube end and mount the plastic adapter (12) such that it locks into place. The button must lock into the recess on the adapter in the process. 21

22 Adding water If the unit was already in use, pay attention to the following points: Danger of scalding! Never open the cap of the tank while the unit is running! When the content of the tank is empty disconnect the unit and wait min. 20 minutes until the water in the tank is cooled. Only after cooling refill the tank. Never fill the tank with more than 650 ml of water! NEVER fill the tank with liquids other than water! Press before every Opening of the tank the switch for leaving discharge the pressure in the unit. Leave the unit never in work without water in the tank. If there is no steam any more, imediately switch off the unit and disconnect the unit from the socket. 1. If the unit has already been used, turn it off and disconnect the mains plug from the socket. Then allow the unit to cool off for at least 20 minutes before you fill it with water. Warning: Not following this step may result in injury. If you fill the hot steam reservoir with cold water, it is possible that hot water and steam may shoot out of the tank spout. Danger of scalding! Further safety notes you find under Other Notes. 1. Fold the cover on the water fill spout up (Fig.). 2. Press the safety lid down, hold it in place and then AT THE SAME TIME turn it counterclockwise (Fig.). Remove the safety lid. 3. Pour out any water still left in the tank so as not to exceed the maximum volume of 650 ml. 22

23 Warning: ONLY add water. Do not use any cleaners or other liquids. 4. Using the funnel and the measuring beaker, fill no more than 650 ml water into the fill spout. 5. In order to seal the fill spout, turn the safety lid around clockwise approx. 6 times. The resistance will then increase. Continue to turn the cover while now holding it down. Turn it until the safety lid has been tightly sealed. Connecting and using the unit Never point the vapour stream in the direction of persons or animals! Danger of scalding! Never direct the steam on people and animals. Never direct the steam on electric devices or attachements. 1. Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket. 2. Mount the desired adapter on the unit. 3. Set the red On/Off switch on the unit to I. The control light on the switch will illuminate in red, unit s control light (arrow Fig.) will illuminate in yellow. 4. Wait min. 3 minutes until the unit has warmed up. 5. Press the steam trigger (Fig.). Steam will be emitted from the selected adapter. Release the steam trigger if you wish to stop steam from being emitted. Move the device over the surface to be cleaned. When trying out the device for the first time, do so in an inconspicuous area. Should you be unsure as to whether you should clean a surface with this steam cleaner, consult a professional before doing so. Attention: If you do not use the unit for longer times, the steam in the hose may condense. When you use the unit after a longer time water may drop out. 6. If you would like to turn off the unit, set the red On/Off switch to O. 7. If you wish to change the adapter during use, press the O button on the On/Off switch in order to deactivate the unit. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the unit to cool off completely before changing the adapter. 8. Remove the mains plug from the socket after every use! 23

24 After use 1. Turn the device off after every use by setting the red On/Off switch to O. The red control light and the yellow unit control light will turn off. 2. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket after every use. 3. Allow the unit to cool off completely and empty the water tank as described under Care/Maintenance before you stow the unit. 4. If necessary, clean the terry cloth pads as described under Care/Maintenance. Care/Maintenance Never submerge the steam cleaner in water. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents. Never put decalcifier or the like in the steam cleaner. After using the device, empty the water tank in order to prevent premature calcification! 1. Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the electrical socket. 2. Allow the device to cool off completely before you clean it or empty out the water tank. 3. Open the safety lid as described under Adding water. The water may still be hot. Danger of scalding! 4. Turn the device over and pour the remaining water in the water tank down a drain. Never fill the water tank with decalcifier or the like. Approx. once a month, pour a small amount of water into the water tank and shake it back and forth in order to dissolve any calcification deposits. Then empty it out completely. Allow the steam cleaner to dry with its water tank open. When needed, wipe the device with a damp cloth and if necessary, using a small amount of cleaning agent. Cleaning the terry cloth pads You can wash the terry cloth pads in the washing machine at 40 C. Do not use any bleaching agents! 24

29 Arrêtez l appareil, débranchez la prise électrique et laissez l appareil refroidir entièrement, si l appareil n est pas utilisé pendant une longue période,... avant un orage,... avant de rajouter de l eau ou avant de nettoyer l appareil,... avant de changer d embouts ou de chiffons éponges,... ou avant de le ranger. Saisissez la prise mâle pour retirer le câble de la prise femelle; ne tirez pas sur le câble lui-même. Ne laissez réparer le câble endommagé que par le fabricant, un spécialiste ou le service après-vente. Ne faites pas fonctionner l appareil sans surveillance! Arrêtez l appareil et débranchez la prise électrique avant de quitter la pièce. Ne pulvérisez jamais d autres appareils électriques avec la vapeur! Ne stockez jamais l appareil en extérieur! Ne jamais pointer le jet de vapeur vers des appareils électriques, électroniques, p. ex. l intérieur d un four, ordinateur, etc. Risque d incendie Veuillez disposer le câble de sorte que celui-ci ne soit pas plié, écrasé ou ne soit pas en contact avec de quelconques surfaces brûlantes. Gardez l appareil et le câble éloignés de sources de chaleur comme, par exemple, le chauffage etc. Attention en cas de dégâts matériels Utilisez toujours le récipient gradué et ne versez jamais plus de 650 ml dans le réservoir! Ne transportez et ne bougez jamais l appareil en le tirant par le câble ou en le portant par le câble. Pour nettoyer l appareil, n utilisez aucun détergent agressif et abrasif. Il pourrait endommager la surface de l appareil. Si nécessaire, essuyez l appareil avec un chiffon doux et sec. Lors de la première utilisation, faites un essai sur un endroit peu visible. Si vous pensez que la surface pourrait être endommagée par la vapeur, contactez un spécialiste. Veillez à ce que le câble ou le tuyau ne soient pas coincés ou pliés ou qu ils ne soient pas en contact avec des surfaces brûlantes. Ne versez jamais d additifs, comme du détergent, du détartrant (p. ex. vinaigre), de l alcool ou des produits aromatiques dans l appareil! N introduisez aucun objet dans les ouvertures/buses de l appareil et veillez à ce qu elles ne soient pas bouchées. 29

30 Lorsque l appareil est utilisé sur du stratifié, veillez à ce que celui-ci soit posé dans les règles et qu il ne présente aucune faille ou fissure dans lesquelles l humidité peut pénétrer. Pour damage ce n est pas possible endosser la responsabilité Pour les surfaces qui ont été traitées avec de la cire, cette dernière peut être enlevée par la chaleur et la vapeur! N orientez pas trop longtemps le jet de vapeur sur un endroit. L appareil ne convient pas : aux sols non vitrifiés, au plastique souple et aux meubles en bois. N utilisez pas l appareil sur des vitres gelées! Agissez avec précaution en utilisant l appareil sur du verre! Risque de cassure! Ne tirez pas l appareil par le tuyau de vapeur ou le câble! Autres remarques Utilisez la sangle pour transporter l appareil confortablement et en toute sécurité. Assurez-vous que la sangle est bien fixée sur l appareil. N utilisez pas l appareil dans des locaux sombres ou mal éclairés. N utilisez jamais l appareil plus de 2 à 3 secondes sur le même endroit. La surface se trouvant sous la sortie de vapeur pourrait être endommagée. L appareil peut également être utilisé avec de l eau du robinet. Pour enlever des saletés comme du calcaire, vous pouvez également vous servir du gobelet gradué ensemble avec le filtre. 30

32 Mise en service Enlevez l appareil de l emballage et vérifiez si aucune pièce ne manque. Appelez notre service après-vente le cas échéant. Choisir les embouts Tubes de rallonge (5) Utilisez ces tubes pour rallonger l appareil. 1. Appuyez sur le bouton à l extrémité de la poignée et introduisez un tube de rallonge sur l extrémité de la poignée jusqu à ce que le bouton s encliquette dans le trou du tube de rallonge. 2. Si vous souhaitez utiliser un autre tube de rallonge, appuyez sur le bouton sur l extrémité du tube de rallonge que vous venez d installer et introduisez ainsi le deuxième tube de rallonge. Petit embout brosse rond (7) L appareil est muni d un embout brosse rond. Il est destiné à nettoyer les endroits difficilement accessibles comme, par exemple, les joints ainsi que les endroits fortement encrassés. Procédez avec précaution avec l embout brosse! Sinon, les surfaces à nettoyer pourraient être endommagées! 1. Maintenez le bouton de l extrémité du tuyau ou du tube appuyé et placez la buse de joints (6) jusqu à ce qu elle s encliquette. Pour ce faire, le bouton doit s engager dans le trou. 2. Vissez maintenant la brosse souhaitée sur l embout. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser la buse de joints sans brosse. Embout de sol (8) Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez si le chiffon éponge (9) est usé. Elle ne doit pas être utilisée s il est usé! Vous pouvez uitiliser l embout de sol avec ou sans le chiffon éponge. Nous vous recommandons d utiliser l embout de sol sans chiffon éponge, par exemple sur la moquette, et sur les sols lisses comme le carrelage, le stratifié etc. avec le chiffon éponge. 1. Comme ceci est décrit sous «Tubes de rallonge», placez les tubes de rallonge (5) sur l extrémité de la poignée et ensuite l embout de sol (8) sur le tube de rallonge. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez aussi utiliser l embout sans tube de rallonge

33 2. Si vous souhaitez utiliser le chiffon de nettoyage, entourez-le sur l embout de sol et fixez-le en serrant la ficelle. Faites éventuellement un nœud pour qu il tienne bien. Embout pour fenêtres (10) 1. Si nécessaire, mettez les tubes de rallonge comme décrit sous «Tubes de rallonge» sur l extrémité du tuyau ou du tube et placez ensuite l embout pour fenêtres sur le tube de rallonge. 2. Avec la vapeur qui sort de la buse sous l embout, vous pouvez nettoyer des surfaces lisses comme, par exemple, des fenêtres et racler l eau avec une raclette en caoutchouc ou un chiffon à vitre normal. Embout en plastique (12) N utilisez pas l embout en plastique sur des surfaces dures car elles pourraient être rayées. L embout en plastique convient pour passer des rideaux ou des vêtements à la vapeur. 1. Maintenez appuyé le bouton à l extrémité du tuyau ou du tube et introduisez l embout en plastique (12) jusqu à ce qu il s encliquette. Pour ce faire, le bouton doit s engager dans le trou sur l embout. 33

34 Remplir d eau Lorsque vous avez utilisé l appareil regardez cettes notices: ATTENTION! Danger de brûlure! Ne jamais ouvrir le bouchon de réservoir pendant l utilisation! Quand le réservoir est vide, veuillez attendre au moins 20 minutes avant de le remplir avec de l eau. Ne versez pas plus de 650 ml d eau dans le tank! Ne versez JAMAIS d autres liquides que de l eau dans le générateur! Veuillez appuyer le bouton de marche avant de l ouvrir pour faire partir la pression à l intérieur de l appareil. Ne jamais laisser l appareil en marche sans eau. Si il y a plus de vapeur qui sort de l appareil, veuillez immédiatement éteindre l appareil et débranchez le. 1. Si l appareil avait déjà été utilisé, arrêtez-le et débranchez la prise électrique. Laissez refroidir l appareil pendant au moins 20 minutes avant de rajouter de l eau. Avertissement : si vous ne suivez pas cette étape, vous pourriez vous blesser. Lorsque vous versez de l eau froide dans le réservoir de vapeur chaud, il se peut que de l eau chaude et de la vapeur soient éjectées par l ouverture du tank. Risque d éboutillantement! 1. Relevez le couvercle de l ouverture de remplissage d eau (Fig.). 2. Enfoncez la fermeture de sécurité. Maintenez-la appuyée et tournez-la EN MÊME TEMPS dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d une montre (Fig.). Retirez la fermeture de sécurité. 3. Videz le tank de l eau s y trouvant encore pour que la quantité maximum de 650 ml ne soit pas dépassée. 34

35 Avertisement : Versez de l eau du robinet. N utilisez aucun détergent ou aucun autre liquide. Avertisements precises vous trouvez en la chaptire Autres remarques. 4. À l aide de l entonnoir et du récipient gradué, versez au maximum 650 ml d eau dans l ouverture de remplissage. 5. Pour fermer l ouverture de remplissage, tournez la fermeture de sécurité d environ 6 tours dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. Ensuite, la résistance augmente. Continuez à tourner la fermeture pendant que vous le maintenez appuyée. Tournez jusqu à ce que la fermeture de sécurité soit bien vissée. Branchez l appareil et utilisez-le N orientez jamais le jet de vapeur sur des personnes ou des animaux! Risque d ébouillantement! N orientez jamais le jet de vapeur sur des appareils électriques, électroniques, p. ex. l intérieur d un four, ordinateur, etc. 1.Branchez l appareil à une prise électrique bien accessible. 2. Placez l embout souhaité sur l appareil. 3. Mettez l interrupteur rouge marche/arrêt sur «I». La lampe témoin sur l interrupteur s allume en rouge, la lampe témoin de l appareil (Flèche, Fig.) s allume en jaune. 4. Attendez environ moin 3 minutes que l appareil soit chaud. 5. Appuyez sur le déclencheur de vapeur (Fig.). De la vapeur sort par l embout choisi. Relâchez le déclencheur de vapeur lorsque vous souhaitez interrompre la sortie de vapeur. Déplacez l appareil sur la surface à nettoyer. Lors de la première utilisation, faites un test sur un endroit peu visible. Si vous n êtes pas certain que la surface à nettoyer puisse être traitée avec l appareil, interrogez un spécialiste. Attention: Lorsque vous fairez une pause grandirée l eau condense en le boyeau. 36 Après l utilisation 1. Après chaque utilisation, arrêtez l appareil en mettant l interrupteur marche/ arrêt sur «O». La lampe témoin rouge et la lampe témoin jaune de l appareil s éteignent. 2. Après l utilisation, débranchez la prise électrique. 3. Laissez refroidir entièrement l appareil et videz le réservoir d eau comme décrit sous «Soin/Entretien» avant de ranger l appareil. 4. Si nécessaire, nettoyez le chiffon éponge comme décrit sous «Soin/Entretien». Soin/Entretien Ne plongez jamais l appareil dans l eau. N utilisez pas de détergents à solvants ou de nettoyants agressifs. Ne versez aucun détartrant ou produit similaire dans l appareil. Videz le réservoir d eau après chaque utilisation afin d éviter un entartrage précoce! 1. Arrêtez l appareil et débranchez la prise électrique. 2. Laissez refroidir entièrement l appareil avant de le nettoyer ou de vider le réservoir d eau. 3. Ouvrez la fermeture de sécurité comme décrit sous «Remplir d eau». L eau peut être encore brûlante. Risque d ébouillantement! 4. Retournez l appareil et évacuez le reste d eau du réservoir dans les égouts. Ne versez jamais de détartrant ou de produit similaire dans le réservoir d eau. Environ une fois par mois, versez un peu d eau dans le réservoir et remuez l appareil pour décoller les éventuels résidus de tartre. Ensuite, videz entièrement le réservoir. Laissez sécher l appareil, réservoir d eau ouvert. Si nécessaire, essuyez l appareil avec un chiffon doux et, éventuellement, avec un détergent doux. Laver les chiffons éponges Vous pouvez laver les chiffons éponges dans le lave-linge à 40 C. N utilisez aucun produit de blanchiment! 36
