5 Message de l Ecole Doctorale des Sciences Appliquées de l Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie Bienvenue aux JDEPT 15 à l Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie. Le comité d organisation des Premières Journées Doctorales de l EPT, propose un programme technique riche et intéressant pour les participants. L objectif de ces journées est de promouvoir et de favoriser les interactions entre jeunes chercheurs, de l'ecole Doctorale Sciences Appliquées EDSA, et des différents Laboratoires de l EPT, Industriels et Enseignants Chercheurs. Les JDEPT 15 sont une excellente occasion pour présenter et discuter l état d avancement de leurs travaux de recherche et de rencontrer des amis, collègues, experts et partenaires industriels. Véritable moment privilégié pour toute la communauté de chercheurs, les JDEPT 15 élargit son ampleur et couvre des domaines émergents dans différentes spécialités tels que : les communications numériques et optiques les systèmes d informations les réseaux de capteurs les systèmes avancés la théorie du contrôle le traitement de signal, d image et de vidéos la modélisation la mécanique appliquée le génie électrique le calcul scientifique. La participation des doctorants et des jeunes chercheurs à ces journées est encouragée et des prix seront accordés aux meilleurs présentations orales et posters. Ces journées favorisent l'ouverture et l échange scientifique entre chercheurs, industriels et étudiants participant à cette manifestation. 2

The rapid transition toward clouds has advanced many concerns related to security issues which can hold back its widespread adoption. In fact, cloud computing s special architecture has introduced many challenges especially in maintaining the security of outsourced data. Thus, to address this issue, we propose in this article, a new lightweight encryption algorithm which consists of combining symmetric algorithm to encrypt data and asymmetric one to distribute keys. This combination helps to benefit from the efficient security of asymmetric encryption and the rapid performance of symmetric encryption while conserving the rights of users to access data by a secured and authorized way. Evaluation results prove that the processing time of our lightweight algorithm is faster than state-of-theart cryptographic algorithms. 11

In this work we propose a new taxonomy for IOT vision, a security roadmap overview, and possible research directions. To solve this problem, we apply particle swarm optimization (PSO) to minimize the maximum completion time criterion. Our other objective, is to study the distribution of the PSO-Solving method for future implementation on embedded systems that can make decisions in real time according to the state of resources and any unplanned or unforeseen events. For this aim, two Multi-agent based approaches are proposed and compared using different benchmark instances. LTE-BASED VPN: A NEW ARCHITECTURE WITH TWO AUTHENTICATION ALTERNATIVES Meriem SALHI, Maroua GHARAM and Noureddine BOUDRIGA Communication Networks and Security (CNAS) Research Lab ({mariem.slh, gharam1989, noure.boudriga2}@gmail.com) We propose in this paper a novel prospective vision of virtual private networks built upon the fourth generation small cell technology. The proposed architecture promotes the enterprise manageability on its private connections, established over LTE. In fact, the small cell node is renovated by adding USIM cards enabling it to act as a gateway between employees and the LTE core system. Furthermore, two authentication alternatives are proposed. The first one is a totally local authentication where users are authenticated and registered by a local authentication center instead of the core network. While the second maintains the authentication role of the LTE core and gives some privileges to the local authentication center to complement the process. 12

16 A VLC-BASED IN FLIGHT CONNECTIVITY ARCHITECTURE TO ENABLE ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES IN FUTURE AIRCRAFT Dhouha KRICHENE, Maha SLITI, Walid ABDALLAH et Noureddine BOUDRIGA Communication Network and Security Research Lab(CN&S), Sup Com This paper proposes an aeronautical network architecture based on visible light communication (VLC) technology which targets the distribution of in-flight entertainment services. To this purpose, we investigate the deployment of LEDs within an aircraft cabin using two different wavelength assignment methods in the VLC cells. The first method combines both WDM and Direct sequence OCDMA techniques to reduce intra-cell and intercell interferences. In the second one, a two-dimensional OCDMA scheme is used to enable efficient sharing of resources between users. Finally, a simulation work is conducted to evaluate the bit error rate of the proposed access control schemes for different configurations of the VLC system. It consists of deciding which processes of the embedded application should be executed on general purpose processor (software architecture) and which ones can be implemented on a specific hardware architecture, taking into account a set of embedded systems constraints. Software architecture is more flexible and inexpensive. It is chosen to reduce the cost of the design. However, hardware architecture is selected to increase the embedded system performance (execution time, area, energy, etc.) and speedup design. Several significant research work on hardware/software partitioning problem exist. In this paper, we will presents the hardware/software partitioning process. In order to generate an OAM beam, we define a theoretical OAM encoder (vortex generator) similar to the Spiral Phase Pattern (SPP) in practice, converts a flat Gaussian phase front into a helix. We then multiplex several OAM channels, all modulated with QPSK streams of data and then decode specific modes and measure the overall performance. 16

The carbon nanotube effects are mathematically introduced via a quantum mechanical conductivity. This paper presents a new formulation based on integral equations system to study the coupled carbon nanotube antennas. The proposed integral equations system is numerically solved by the moments method. Each dipole antenna is excited at its center by a gap voltage source. The aim of the developed method is to investigate the antennas interaction effects for any coupling distance.
