14 Marou a été fondé en 2010 par Samuel Maruta et Vincent Mourou, deux Français installés à Saigon, au Vietnam. Après s'être découverts une passion commune pour le chocolat, ils sont partis dans la campagne vietnamienne en quête du meilleur cacao. Le chocolat qu'ils fabriquent ne contient que des ingrédients vietnamiens, et chacune des tablettes ne contient les fèves que d'une seule région, ce qui permet de déguster des chocolats de terroirs, très différents les uns des autres. Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat is a French duo, Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou, based in Ho Chi Minh City. Crafted in Vietnam, their chocolate is made exclusively from local ingredients. Samuel and Vincent use only the finest variety of cacao, which they purchase directly from the Vietnamese farmers who cultivated the beans. The chocolatiers thus showcase the cacao and terroir of five different Vietnamese regions. Like a great vintage wine, each Marou chocolate bar must be savored.
