13 La franco-yukonnie personnes (4,8 %) ont le français comme première langue, mais personnes parlent français 80 % habite la région de Whitehorse Représente 5 % de la population de Whitehorse 13 % des Yukonnais peuvent s exprimer en français, le 3e plus haut taux de bilinguisme au Canada.

14 L immigration francophone Pays d origine des immigrants en général : La France au 6e rang. Les immigrants forment 15 % de la population franco-yukonnaise (2006). 4 % des candidats au programme territorial des candidatures du Yukon sont originaires de France. 19 The advantages of speaking French A plus in the workplace Adding bilingual speakers to the payroll can benefit a BC employer because of the larger market of clients and customers they can capture. Business may have found it difficult to set up business relationships with customers or clients in foreign countries because of the language barrier.

20 The advantages of speaking French A plus in the workplace Over 50% of companies take language into account when recruiting Bilingual men earn 3.6% and bilingual women earn 6.6% more than English only speakers 31% of International executives speak two languages, 20 % speak three languages, 9% speak four languages and 4% more than four.
