1 French Assistants Teaching Programme French Assistants are provided with: a register book a copy of the AS and A2 textbooks textbooks for Upper and Lower School classes a teaching programme exemplar work and PPTs from former assistants a dedicated kesmoodle site support material via kesmoodle Lower Sixth élan 1, Upper Sixth élan 2, French film resources from the MFL office a copy of the Chez Nous magazine and workbook (these can be used as up-to-date resources throughout the year. Recent copies can be found on the lower 6 kesmoodle course) will meet with them once a fortnight to discuss the programme of study and to support the assistants with their work. will sort out their timetable SLA will inform the assistants of procedures regarding examination preparation and expectations. They assistants should inform and SLA by if a student does not come for his/her lesson. French assistants should French teachers to ask if there is anything that needs preparing for a lesson. Try to do this a few days before the lesson.

7 Summer Term The programme will depend on whether the examination has been completed or not. Assistants my either continue to prepare students for the FN3 and/or FN1 orals, or they may support students by helping with translations, essay writing, grammar.
