2 EDITO Globalisation, mondialisation, internationalisation... Quel que soit le terme employé, et chacun d eux recèle une subtilité propre du phénomène, il ne fait aucun doute que l université évolue sur un terrain de jeu qui dépasse les frontières nationales. Mobilité des étudiants français, attractivité des étudiants étrangers, circulation des savoirs, transfert des savoirs, fabrication des savoirs, toutes les missions de l université sont confrontées à ce mouvement. Dauphine a fait le choix de se placer sur ce terrain et met en place, progressivement, une structure qui appuie son ambition de compter parmi les «world class universities». L international en chiffres de Dauphine, permet en toute transparence de rendre publics des éléments quantitatifs de son projet. Whatever the term and each word harbours specific subtleties of this phenomenon, there is no doubt that the university evolves on a playground which exceeds national borders. Mobility of French students, the appeal of foreign students, the flow of knowledge, the transfer of knowledge, the production of knowledge, all these university missions confront this movement. Dauphine chose to be on this ground and to progressively, set up a structure which counts on its ambition to figure among the «world class universities». Dauphine International in Figures, published annually enables, in a completely transparent way, to render public all the quantitative elements of its project.
