Placefoam gasket (P) ontothebacklipof britetreadrunningboard(a)andtrim flushwiththe britetreadmudflap(b)andtheendof britetreadrunningboard(a). 4 2 Locate the plastic plugscovering the existingholes inthevehiclerockerpanelatthe locations shownbelow.remove themfrom the vehicle. Thread a3/8 largethreadedplate(n)ontothe3/8x11/4 hexheadbolt(m)acoupleofturns. 5 4 Using the drawingsbelow as aguide, place the threaded plate onthebraceassembly into the existingholes in the vehiclepanel. Thebraceassemblyshouldbesnugagainstthe bottom oftherocker panel onthevehicle. Now tighten the 3/8 x11/4 hexheadboltonthebraceassemblyuntil snugusinga9/16 wrench/orsocket. Secure thebottomflangeonrockerpanelbracket()tothe vehicle rocker panel using 1/4 x1 ribneckcarriageheadbolt (H), 1/4 flatwasher(f),and1/4 hexnut(g)asshownbelow. Tighten into place usinga7/16 wrench/orsocket. Secure the rear-bottom hole in running boardbracket(d)tothe hole intherockerpanel bracket () using 3/8x1"hexheadbolt(I), 5/16" flatwashers(j),3/8" lockwasher(l),and3/8"hexnut (K). 8 7 Rotate the brace assembly totheuprightpositionandsecure it intoplace usinga 3/8 x1"hexhead bolt (I),3/8"lock washer (L), 5/16" flat washers (J),and3/8"hexnuts(K)asshownbelow. Secure the running board bracket(d)to the britetread running boardusing 1/4 x1 ribneckcarriageheadbolts (H),1/4 flatwashers(f),and1/4 hex nuts(g). Tighten intoplaceusinga 7/16 wrench /or socket.
