2 «International contest of Digital and Numerical Arts in Silver Valley» (France / Alsace) Theme : The Dream What isthe International Contest of digital and numerical Arts? It is a great moment given to the creative artists of the whole world, using the numerical tools to create their art works, wishing to expose their art pieces or wanting to make themselves known of an international public. Theme in 2007 «The Dream» The artist is free to express the Dream or his dream, his dreams, an ideal society, a fiction, a Utopia, a future for the Silver Valey the real or imaginary, motionless or animated oneiric worlds. The numerical tool as a prolongation of the hand of the artist will be developed around creations in 2D, 3D, motionless or moving, or put in scene in holographic presentations, special efects The registration form must be returned by or mailed to the CCVA before Thursday November 15, 2007 to 18h. A first selection by the jury will be carried out end of November The short listed artists called to present their work at the biennial wil be informed by the end of The final selection and the award ceremony will take place during biennial Numerical Arts (see info on Web site 2

4 Who can register? This contest is for any artist, amateur or professional, creator of works with the topic of the contest and wishing to present one or more its works in SilverValley. This contest is open to : Any artist, professional or amateur, creator of art assisted by a numerical tool: Production in 2 dimensions (tables), Production in 3 dimensions, Holograms, special effects, motionless or moving art Works, The candidate must propose an art work on the theme of the contest The Dream Each candidate can present several art works The registration fee for the contest is free. The jury will keep for the shortlist selection the registration forms which are complete, art works expressing the chosen theme and art works respecting public order. 4

Deadline to turn in the registration form: Thursday November 15, 2007 by 18h To be pre selected by the jury: The pre selected artists will be informed in November/December 2007 by so that they can have time to finish their work and prepare the installation on the site for the Festival of April In order to present ones work during the Biennial and to present it to the jury.
