2 NOTICE CONSECUTIVE TO THE FIRST POSTING APPLICATION OF THE PAY EQUITY ACT (SECTION 76) This notice of modifications following the first posting was drawn up on the basis of the comments and observations received from employees covered by the Pay Equity plan. Remember that there is a provision of 60 days prescribed by the Pay Equity Act for employees to take note of the first posting and to forward observations and comments to the Pay Equity Committee. This notice puts an end to employees right to make comments or observations regarding the first posting. However, The Pay Equity Committee will proceed to a second posting as soon as the third and fourth steps of the pay equity plan are completed. In accordance with Section 76 of the law, all employees will then have a 60-day period to request further information or forward comments to the Pay Equity Committee. It is important to note the following correction in the list of bargaining agents: the name of the Fédération du personnel professionnel de l éducation (FPPE-CSQ) has been changed for the Fédération des professionnelles et professionnels de l éducation du Québec (FPPE-CSQ). The Pay Equity Committee has a 30-day period after April 14, 2005 to post the modifications adopted or not regarding the first posting. By means of this notice, for each of the items in the first posting, the Pay Equity Committee reports on the modifications that have been accepted or mentions that no modifications have been made. The first posting reports on the first two steps of the pay equity plan that were completed. The four items it contains are the composition of the committee, job class identification and the determination of gender predominance, the description of the job class evaluation method and instruments, and the development of the evaluation procedure. 1. The composition of the pay equity committee There was no modification in the composition of the Pay Equity Committee. 2.
