À travers des vidéos auto-enregistrés, studetns vont partager leurs connaissances avec d'autres du secteur de la santé sur la façon d'accomplir des tâches quotidiennes liées à des questions spécifiques à un domaine. Miguel, a 18 years old carer produces during his apprenticeship a short video, explaining how he, putting a patient back-friendly into another bed. He is loading up the video file onto the platform draufhaber.tv and preparing English subtitles for the video in his class. In Italy, apprentices in the care sector are using Miguels' video in order to prepare Italian subtitles for it in their english-class. Similar videos are produced by German apprentices in the geriatric care. Here apprentices, who may have a migration background, are subtitling their videos with the language of their familys' country of origin. By subtitling the video, the fluency of the apprentices will be effectively encouraged for the learning within the work process. The video production itself is encouraging the professional identification and supports the development of media skills. Knowledges of a foreign language and mobility are two sides of the same coin. Mobility is a "basis qualification " for european employees (Wordelmann 2009). The project considers itself as a preparatory measure for rise of mobility. For that reason the already in Germany established video platform draufhaber. tv is being translated into the central European languages (EN, FR, FIN, ES, RO,TK, RUS) by the proposed project pool. The platform will be extended by the subtitling function within the frame of ReSoLVE. This concept has already been proved in Germany and the didactic documents will be translated and contextualized within the target countries. The care sector is especially eligible for this project as the migration background of the employees as well as of the clients is becoming more important. The establishment of a multilingual video platform has the target to make the medium video available Europe-wide and to spread the professional or practice-oriented contents produced by young people. Draufhaber. tv creates a European web-based pool and space for lifelong learning. This pool can be used by youngsters all over Europe to contact each other before starting a first apprenticeship with expert foreign language vocabulary. With this platform the blind spot of the European language and politics can be approached: Bilingual migrants may use their familial language skills as a resource by contributing subtitles and they have got the incentive (appeal) to extend these to expert areas. The projekt pool consists of partners from D, FIN, ES, I and RO. D as exporting country is the platfom coordinator. RO is one of the few countries in Europe, which has 2 foreign languages in its area of education. All countries are linked very close within migration networks. Description: Two major areas of work include the first year of the project activities: a) the development of multilingual platform draufhaber.tv and b) the production of 16-explanatory videos. a) imprint and the terms were translated into English for the development of multilingualism platform. These documents were transmitted by the partners in their national language. Of pages to be programmed to a program section was written and integrated in the source code that makes it possible to display different language text documents for the Legal and Terms of Use. Likewise, the language has been programmed. For the translation of the platform a POT file was generated that 2

The English translations are in the comment functions of the POT file is written as data for the project partners, such as the German part was to translate. All partners have submitted a first language version for their countries. Furthermore, a ticket system using Git Hub was set up and provided a first routine for displaying bugs in the individual languages. b) all partners were themselves trained in the production and equipped with English-speaking working material for the video production. This material has been translated by the partners. All partners have held multipliers workshops to train the educational staff in relation to the production and use of didactic explanatory videos, so that they have the skills to apply even after the termination of the project explanatory videos. All partners have produced, together with schools / training centers for nurses, 16 videos about a small action sequence in the nursing field. Furthermore, the trainees and training staff of all partners are trained in use of Nikse, an open-source program for generating subtitles. The process was evaluated by all partners using quantitative questionnaire and by interview guide / guide for group discussions. For the second year, A) a continuous improvement process is established in terms of the language versions for the development of the platform. At the same time working on the development of a video player that can display subtitles (incl. corresponding options). Furthermore, an upload module is developed and integrated into the platform, which allows uploading subtitles in the area of platform development. This upload module also includes a coherent with the principles of the rights management platform. These two new features will be tested by the partners. B) The videos, produced in the first year of the project, are now being exchanged between the partners. The trainees classes will subtitled again but a foreign video in the native language. The videos will be used not only in the technical language teaching but also in specialized teaching to get a glimpse of alternative work practices and training cultures. This process will as well been evaluated as in the first year. The videos will be shown stakeholders to elicit to what extent such a video documentation can help with the application. The project will be disseminated to each of a national learning fair and a stakeholder workshop. 19 Événements 2nd Meeting Date Description The second project meeting took place in Spain and pursued thematically, a) how to develop draufhaber.tv further on to a multilanguage platform, b) the exchange of experiences on the implementation process within the countries and the action taken in respect of the common first evaluation. For this purpose, the first results from the training of teachers and the first evaluation with the student / teacher were presented and discussed. The platform was tested together and given an in-depth introduction to the partners. Ideas for accessibility and spreading the project at different locations/sectors were developed.
