MÉTHODE SOUSTRACTIVE SUBTRACTIVE METHOD Le traitement BCP consiste à obtenir une surface rugueuse micro texturée par sablage. L opération consiste à projeter des particules à la surface de l implant créant ainsi des micro-impacts à leur surface. BCP treatment involves obtaining a sanded micro-textured rough surface. The procedure involves spraying particles onto the surface of the implant creating micro-impacts at their surface. Elle permet de stabiliser le caillot sanguin initial, d établir un contact intime de celui-ci avec la surface de titane et d obtenir une meilleure adhésion cellulaire. The wettability of surfaces treated with BCP is greater than that obtained with traditional alumina, silica or corindon sanding. It helps to stabilise the initial blood clot, establish intimate contact between the blood clot and the titanium surface and provide improved cellular adhesion. Côté sablage BCP BCP sanded side Fig. 3 Côté sablage alumine Alumina sanded side EFFICACITÉ DÈS 6 SEMAINES (FIG. 3&4) EFFECTIVE AS EARLY AS 6 WEEKS (FIG. 3&4) Des études sur épiphyses fémorales de rat ont montré à 6 semaines une ostéogénèse de contact avec les surfaces traitées BCP contrairement aux surfaces lisses ou sablées à l alumine qui présentent une interface fibreuse sans ostéogénèse de contact. Ces résultats ont également été confortés par une étude à 12 semaines menée dans le cadre de l INSERM. On observe à 6 mois un contact os-implant de 73,31% +/- 17,76% contre 38,01% +/- 9,32% avec des surface lisses, quelque soit la qualité de l os. Studies on rat femoral epiphyses have demonstrated contact osteogenesis with BCP surfaces at 6 weeks in contrast to smooth or alumina sanded surfaces, which show a fibrous interface without contact osteogenesis. These results have also been backed up by a 12-week study conducted by INSERM. At 6 months, bone impact contact of 73.31% +/ % was found compared to 38.01% +/- 9.32% with smooth surfaces regardless of bone quality.
