2 PSL, a federal research university in the Very heart of PariS PSL was born as the result of the strategic alliance of 25 prestigious French institutions sharing a common culture, based on scientific excellence and selective enrollment of students. They are united in a common desire to create a unique Research University in order to encourage innovation and creativity, to attract the most outstanding researchers, teachers and students, to equip students to take on the major challenges of the future, and to make research a genuine engine for growth.

The different disciplines across these fields are in ongoing dialogue with each other, collaborating in major cross-discipline research.
