L année prochaine, je voudrais aller au Portugal en Espagne en Australie en Inde en Cornouailles au pays de Galles avec mes ami(e)s avec ma famille car je pense que ce sera plus marrant/intéressant. je vais beaucoup m amuser. je vais rencontrer des gens sympas. je vais faire plein de choses intéressantes Page 4 of 5

5 Teaching notes As a starter, you could give students either activity A or B on p.1 or simply project the photo and the questions on p.2 for students to translate the questions. Explain that during the speaking exam (for AQA), they would only be able to see questions 1, 2 and 3. Questions 4 and 5 would be asked but they wouldn t see them written down. The students can then work in pairs or groups to write a short answer for each question. This can be done with or without the support sheets on pp.3 4. You could also ask them to try without the support sheet first and then improve their answers with it. To make sure they have understood the expressions on the support sheet, you could then ask them to translate their answers into English or to annotate the support sheet with the English meanings.
