The project represents a new stage of the long-term collaboration between the Romanian and German partner institutions and was developed following the granting of the Leonardo da Vinci mobility Certificate, based on the internationalization strategy of the beneficiary institution and on the very good results which were carried out within the previous IVT mobility projects.the mobility project was conducted in the period 03/04 to 03/27/2010 and the target group consisted of 12 students from different classes and different fields /levels of qualification (Nat. resources and environmental protection, level 2 and 3 and Ind. chemistry, level 3). The participants training program was developed in a VET school and in a company (Bayer), on a module for each qualification field and competences level. The modules are fully recovered in the national curricula: Tools and laboratory techniques, Basic laboratory operations, Methods of separation and purification, Mass transfer operations and Instrumental analysis. The main objectives of the mobility project were: developing the participants skills to using instruments, apparatuses and equipment in chemistry laboratories and the technological installations in the chemical industry, improving their language skills, developing the ability to work in a team in an intercultural environment and developing the partnership between the two institutions. The results obtained were 12 trainees who have acquired new skills and competences. A very important result was the certification of the results trough transfer of credits (ECVET). The results obtained in the evaluation were very good and allowed validation of acquired skills during the placement. Each participant received a Europass Mobility Document issued by the sending institution and validated by the host institution. Other results were an auxiliary curricular material, developed on the teaching materials produced during the placement, strengthening and developing partnerships with institutions in Germany and ensuring the sustainability of the project by continuing the partnership between both institutions trough the approval of the three projects submitted under the Call This will ensure the development of the European dimension in vocational training in the beneficiary institution and the exchange of best practices among the beneficiary institution and European companies and institutions in the field of VET.
