2 Project Information Title: Project Number: ECEtt (European Companionship in Education, training by travel) - Transfer of Innovation Project BE2-LEO Year: 2009 Project Type: Status: Marketing Text: Transfer of Innovation completed Knowledge Exchange is knowledge creation.". It is based on this observation that the method of training Mecett (Method for European Companionship of Education training by travel) was designed and developed the last ten years by experienced managers from several countries of the European Union. The method is practiced successfully in hundreds of therapeutic communities (institutions whose goal is the reintegration of addicts into a life without drugs) by hundreds of employees, combining goals of continuous improvement, skills development, recording of knowledge and, not least, a love of learning and a pride of belonging to a network. With this success, the creators, owners of the method have developed a project of transfer of innovation to more therapeutic communities, to other sectors of human trades as well as to other professional sectors private and public. The experimental phase of the project is underway to better understand the conditions of success of such transfer so as to make benefit those who want it and to build new bridges between the managers of merchant and non-merchant sectors. Summary: Description: Themes: Sectors: ECEtt-ToI describes, step by step, how MECETT (the learning method based on benchmarking and exchange of good practices) has been transfered form the field of treatment of addicted persons to the fields of social work, education, psychiatry and one energy company. The rate of satisfaction of the 150 learners and their managers is very high (over 90% agree on the added value of MECETT). The main characteristics of MECETT are: Learning is focused on management objectives. Learners are the main actors of the learning process and build their learning journey by chosing experts in a network of partners. The knowledge of the senior referents and experts is written and fixed in "good practices" by the learners who visit them. After the end of the ECEtt- ToI project, the transfer to other professional contexts will be supported by Ecett-Networks NGO (for human trades) and Ecethos (for public and profit companies). 3

Description: La caméra suit une dizaine d'apprenants qui se rendent dans huit pays différents pour y rencontrer des experts et ramener des bonnes pratiques à implémenter dans leur organisation d'origine. Target group: Gestionnaires d'organisations du secteur public et du secteur privé, marchand ou non marchand. Result: Le film montre la rigueur et la flexibilité de la méthode MECETT ainsi que sa performance en termes d'amélioration continue de la qualité. 10 Product 'Method for transfer of MECETT to different professional sectors' Title: Method for transfer of MECETT to different professional sectors Product Type: teaching material Marketing Text: Au cours du projet Ecett-Transfert de l'innovation, le transfert de la méthode MECETT vers plusierus secteurs professionnels a été testé et évalue: psychiatrie, compagnie de gaz, travail social, etc. Les dirigeants et les professionnels ayant participé à cette expérience ont exprimé un niveau de satisfaction supérieur à 90% concernant les bénéfices de la méthode. Description: Ce document présente brièvement les 18 étapes nécessaires au transfert de MECETT vers de nouveaux réseaux professionnels. Target group: Professionnels en formation continue. Result: 32 organisations participantes, 156 échanges de stages, 95 bonnes pratiques validées. Taux de satisfaction des apprenants: 97,4% ont atteint leurs objectifs. Taux de satisfaction des employeurs: 100% considèrent que MECETT est pertinent pour la carrière de leurs employés, permet d'améliorer les processus internes et recommandent cette méthode.
