3 Join our Communications Working Committee!! Do you want to get involved within Montreal's Aboriginal community, and are you passionate about communications? The NETWORK is looking for dynamic people to join it's Communications Working Committee. We are looking for volonteers ready to discuss strategies on how to improve the NETWORK s visibility and increase its membership. reseau.mtl.autochtone.recherche@gmail.com Candidates should have a good knowledge of the Aboriginal community, organizations and events in Montreal. They should also be available to participate in monthly committee meetings. Canada Summer Jobs The application period for Canada Summer Jobs 2016 has been extended until March 11, The Prime Minister announced on February 12 that the Government of Canada will support the hiring of nearly 70,000 students across the country this summer through the Canada Summer Jobs program, doubling the over 34,000 positions funded in All eligible employers are invited to apply by March 11 for funding. Autochtones et droits de la personne Soirée de projection de films et de partage mars au Musée de la civilisation à Québec Dans le cadre des celebrations entourant le e anniversaire de la Charte des droits et libertes de la personne du Quebec ainsi qu a l occasion de la Journee internationale pour l elimination de la discrimination raciale, la Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse CDPDJ, le Wapikoni mobile et le Cercle Kisis vous invitent a une soiree d echanges sur les droits de la personne et la lutte contre le racisme. Cette soiree debutera a h par un goûter autochtone anime par la CDPDJ ainsi que ses partenaires et se poursuivra a h par une série de projections de films du Wapikoni mobile en lien avec le racisme et les droits des peuples autochtones. 9 Bulletin Board CALL FOR CONTRIBUTION FOR WEB CONTENT! Do you want to express yourself and you a platform to do so? Do you want to be heard across all of Canada on a youth forum? A4W live is always looking for web collaborators to enrich and diversify its contents. A4W live is a platform using blogs and aimed mainly at Aboriginal youth in Canada. The site creates an online community in which youth may express and learn more about different themes ( art, literature, fashion, culture, politics, etc. ) or about Aboriginal social concerns. Volunteers needed Trina Slapcoff is looking into the development of a rehab that would cater to the specific needs of Aboriginal people in Montreal. She is looking for volunteers to answer her questionnaire.
