4 La società - The company - La Société La nostra Società in occasione dell entrata nel nuovo millennio ha sentito la necessità di rinnovare il proprio catalogo, redigendolo in modo più completo e descrittivo rispetto ai precedenti, per dar modo alla nostra clientela di poter scegliere tra i nostri fondi pronti a magazzino quelli più adatti alle proprie esigenze con notevole risparmio di tempo e di costo. A tal proposito Vi consigliamo, specialmente quando si tratta di piccole serie, di basarvi nei Vostri progetti su tali misure in modo da poter reperire con immediatezza quanto Vi potrà servire in fase di produzione. Misure fuori standard, materiali difficilmente reperibili sul mercato o da ordinare espressamente in acciaieria, se accompagnati da richieste di piccole quantità o da esigenze di urgenza possono causare difficoltà molto spesso insuperabili per soddisfare totalmente quanto richiestoci. La certificazione UNI EN ISO 9001/2000 di cui siamo dotati, periodicamente controllata dall Ente preposto, è una garanzia che il nostro procedimento di lavorazione è basato soprattutto sulla qualità, che quando accidentalmente non dovesse corrispondere alle Vostre esigenze, per qualsiasi motivo, siamo sempre pronti a riqualificare prontamente. Con l incremento delle richieste di fondi in metalli nobili (acciaio inox, alluminio, rame etc...) abbiamo rivolto una particolare attenzione a tali materiali per poterne migliorare costantemente la qualità con nuove attrezzature destinate esclusivamente a tali lavorazioni. Sono ormai trentacinque anni che ci stiamo continuamente rinnovando e continueremo a farlo anche in futuro per un doveroso rispetto verso la nostra clientela, che ringraziamo, anche in questa occasione, per la costante fiducia accordataci. 4

5 At the beginning of the new millennium, and with the aim of supplying our Customers with a full selection of our stocked dished heads that are fully capable of satisfying the needs and requirements of any Client thus saving time and money -, TECNOFONDI S.p.A. has decided to create a brand new Catalogue that is more complete and detailed than the previous one. In particular, for the so-called small series, we strongly suggest that our Clients take into consideration the TECNOFONDI standard size dished heads, to ensure the fastest delivery of such items when needed during the production. On the other hand, non-standard dished head sizes as well as materials that are difficult to find on the market or that have to be ordered directly from the steel-mill if and when followed by requests of small quantities of products (or with urgency), can often cause difficulties that cannot always be overcome when we are trying to fully satisfy our Clients requests. The UNI EN ISO 9001/2000 Quality Certification that TECNOFONDI S.p.A. has received since 1997, is a further guarantee that our processes are quality-minded. Furthemore, any time that our products should not meet our Customers needs and specifications, we are always ready to take corrective actions that are necessary or appropriate to solve the problem. In consideration of the increasing demand for dished heads manufactured by using valuable metals (such as stainless steel, aluminum and copper), we have decided to take extra care of and pay special attention to these materials, to check their quality and invest in the latest technology equipement for their relevant processing. We have continually renewed and upgraded our Company for over 35 years and will continue in the future in order to better satisfy our Customers who, especially on this occasion, we wish to thank for the trust they have always placed in us. À l occasion de l entrée dans le nouveau millénaire, notre Société a jugé bon de renouveler son catalogue, en le rédigeant de façon plus complète et plus descriptive que les précédents, de façon à ce que notre Clientèle puisse choisir, parmi les fonds dont nous disposons dans notre stock, ceux qui correspondent le plus aux exigences, tout en bénéficiant d une économie de temps et d argent. À ce propos, nous vous conseillons de vous baser, lors de vos projets, sur ces dimensions, notamment lorsqu il s agit de petites séries, defaçon à pouvoir trouver immédiatement ce dont vous aurez besoin lors de la production. Les dimensions hors standard, les matériaux difficiles à trouver sur le marché ou devant être expressément commandés à l aciérie, faisant l objet de demandes de petites quantités ou d urgence, peuvent causer des difficultés, très souvent insurmontables, qui nous empêchent de pouvoir répondre pleinement aux demandes, qui nous ont été adressées. La certification UNI EN ISO 9001/2000, dont nous disposons, est contrôlée périodiquement par l Organisme agréé, ce qui représente la garantie que notre procédé de fabrication se base notamment sur la qualité; s il devait arriver que cette qualité ne réponde pas à vos exigences, quelle qu en soit la raison, nous serons toujours prêts à y remédier promptement. Vu l augmentation des demandes de fonds en métaux nobles (acier inox, aluminium, cuivre, etc.), nous avons concentré tout particulièrement notre attention sur ces matériaux, afin de pouvoir en améliorer constamment la qualité, au travers de nouveaux équipements, destinés exclusivement à ces usinages. Il y a désormais plus de trente-cinq ans que nous ne cessons de nous renouveler et nous continuerons à le faire à l avenir pour tout le respect que nous avons pour notre Clientèle, que nous remercions vivement à cette occasion, pour la confiance qu elle nous a toujours témoignée. 5

6 Note Tecniche - Technical Features - Notes Technique 6 COMMENTI GENERALI I prodotti descritti in questo catalogo vogliono rappresentare la nostra produzione abituale. Resta sottinteso che prodotti di dimensioni e caratteristiche differenti saranno comunque presi in esame per valutarne la fattibilità e l eventuale realizzazione. In particolare le tabelle descrivono i fondi con le dimensioni più utilizzate. Comunque è possibile la realizzazione di fondi aventi dimensioni intermedie. I valori riportati sulle tabelle esprimono indicazioni tecniche che sono comunque da riesaminare in sede contrattuale. METODI DI PRODUZIONE E DIMENSIO- NE DEI PRODOTTI TECNOFONDI realizza la formatura a freddo dei fondi sia per imbutitura (cosiddetti fondi stampati) che per rullatura (cosiddetti fondi rullati). I fondi prodotti con questi metodi raggiungono la dimensione massima seguente: Diametro: 5000 mm Spessore: 25 mm SALDATURA Nei casi in cui il formato della lamiera non sia delle dimensioni sufficienti si procede ad una lavorazione di saldatura. La saldatura viene eseguita a regola d arte da saldatori qualificati e secondo un processo a sua volta qualificato, vedi le normative UNI EN 287-1/1993 e UNI EN 288/ Le saldature - se non espressamente richiesto - non vengono sottoposte a collaudo. Per fondi in cui è previsto, dopo la formatura, il controllo RX delle saldature ciò deve essere specificato all atto dell ordine. MATERIALE IN CONTO LAVORAZIONE Per il materiale fornito in conto lavorazione se si tratta di dischi essi dovranno avere i bordi molati e, se saldati, con saldature eseguite con bordi smussati a X in modo da ottenere la piena penetrazione. La saldatura inoltre andrà eseguita non sui bordi originari della lamiera ma dopo aver rifilato la stessa per una profondità di almeno 20mm in modo da togliere la parte più soggetta a cricche di lavorazione (usando lamiera da coils ciò non è necessario). Le lamiere vanno anche assiemate nello stesso senso di laminazione. Se vengono inviati quadrotti in conto lavorazione si deve aumentare di 20mm la misura rispetto a quella risultante dal disco. E opportuno, per materiale in conto lavorazione, chiedere sempre la conferma degli sviluppi prima di tagliare i dischi o i quadrotti. RIFILATURA E BORDINO I fondi possono essere forniti con bordi grezzi o rifilati. La rifilatura é consigliata sia per raggiungere l esatta altezza del fondo sia per ottenere la perfetta planarità dei bordi. Vi rimandiamo alla sezione del catalogo che parla di questo argomento perché possiate indicarci il tipo di rifilatura che preferite. Inoltre è possibile eseguire anche la bordatura del collare piano (cd. bordino) dei fondi (che permette un miglior inserimento nella virola) fino ad un diametro massimo di 1800 ed uno spessore massimo di 6mm (vedi tabella bordino). TOLLERANZE Per quanto riguarda i fondi stampati le tolleranze applicate sono quelle delle norme in vigore (in particolare la normativa AFNOR NF E /1997). Per i fondi rullati sono le seguenti: Sul diametro esterno < Ø 2000 = ± 2 Ø > Ø 2000 = ± 3 Ø Ovalizzazione (differenza massima fra diametro minimo e diametro massimo) ± 3 Ø Altezza totale (per fondi non rifilati) mm E comunque possibile all atto dell ordine richiedere delle tolleranze più ristrette e di cui sarà studiata la fattibilità.

7 TECHNICAL FEATURES FOREWORD The items shown in this catalogue are our standard products. It is clearly understood that any request for products having different sizes or features as to the standard ones will be considered and evaluated for their feasibility and manufacturing. In particular, the following tables show the most common sizes of dished heads but it is also possible to manufacture other dished heads having different dimensions and technical features. We also wish to highlight that the values mentioned in the tables are subject to contracts review. MANUFACTURING METHODS AND PRODUCTS DIMENSIONS TECNOFONDI S.p.A. s dished heads are manufactured by either pressing process (for the so-called press-formed dished heads), or dishing and flanging process (for the socalled flange-formed dished heads). The dished heads may reach the following dimensions: Diameter: 5000 mm. Thinckness: 25 mm. WELDING If the size of the plate does not possess the required dimensions, TECNOFONDI will carry out a welding process in order to make them suitable for manufacturing. The welding process is executed by qualified welders, in full compliance with welding process duly defined and qualified by the UNI EN 287-1/1993 and UNI EN 288/1993 specifications. We wish to emphasize that, unless it is expressly requested, the weldings are not usually tested or checked. If the weldings need to be checked by means of Non Destructive Tests (radiographic inspection) after forming process, this request must be clearly specified in the contract. MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY CUSTOMERS Any and all materials supplied by Customers are treated according to the following specifications. The blank (disc of plate that has to be formed) must have ground edges and, if and when welded, the welding must have been made with x-bevelled edges, so to ensure full and correct penetration. Furthermore, in order to remove those parts of such plate that are more subject to suffer working fissu- res, the welding shall always be carried out after having trimmed the edges of the plate themselves up to a depth of 20 mm (note: this process is not necessary when using coils). The plates must always be assembled following the directions of rolling. In the event of supplying square plates (by which obtain the blank), their size must always be increased by at least 20 mm with respect to the expected size of the resulting blank. It is normal practice to always get the approval from the Customer Office of the requested final dimensions of the dished heads before either cutting the blank or the square of plate. TRIMMING AND BEVELLING OF THE EDGE The dished heads can be supplied with unfinished or trimmed edges. Trimming is recommended for obtaining the correct height of the dished head and for a perfect flatness of the edges. Please see the section of the catalogue that mentions this, so that you can inform us of the type of trimming you prefer. It is also possible to rim the dished heads straight flange in order to achieve a better fitting into applied the ferrule up to a maximum diameter of 1800 mm and a maximum thickness of 6 mm. TOLERANCES The tolerances used by TECNOFONDI S.p.A. for the press-formed dished heads are those defined by the existing International Specifications. In particular, we make reference to the AFNOR NF /1997 Specifications. In reference to the flange-formed dished heads, the tolerances are as follows: Outside Diameter < Ø 2000 = ± 2 Ø > Ø 2000 = ± 3 Ø Ovality (which is the maximum gap between the minimum and maximum diameters) ± 3 Ø Total height (for untrimmed dished heads) mm It is always possible to request other particular tolerances whose actual feasibility will be carefully studied. 7

8 NOTES TECHNIQUES - OBSERVATIONS GENERALES Les produits décrits dans ce catalogue visent à représenter notre production habituelle. Il est sous-entendu que les produits, présentant des dimensions et des caractéristiques différentes, devront être de toute façon étudiés attentivement, afin de pouvoir en évaluer la faisabilité et la réalisation éventuelle. Les tableaux décrivent notamment les fonds présentant les dimensions les plus courantes. Quoi qu il en soit, nous sommes en mesure de réaliser des fonds d une dimension intermédiaire. Les valeurs figurant dans les tableaux sont données en tant qu indications techniques, qui devront être réexaminées de toute façon lors des négociations. PROCEDES DE FABRICATION ET DIMEN- SIONS DES PRODUITS TECNOFONDI procède au formage à froid des fonds, aussi bien par emboutissage (dénommés fonds emboutis) que par roulage (dénommés fonds roulés). Les dimensions maximales des fonds, produits avec ces procédés, sont les suivantes: Diamètre: 5000 mm Epaisseur: 25 mm SOUDAGE Si les dimensions du format de la tôle ne sont pas suffisantes, l on procède à une opération de soudage. Le soudage est effectué selon les règles de l art par des soudeurs qualifiés et selon un procédé à son tour qualifiè suivant les normes UNI EN 287-1/1993 et UNI EN 288/1993. Les soudures ne seront soumises à des essais que sur demande spécifique. Pour les fonds nécessitant un contrôle RX après le formage, il est indispensable de le spécifier à la commande. MATERIEL DE TRAVAIL A FAÇON Pour le matériel fourni en travail à façon, s il s agit de disques, les bords de ces derniers devront être meulés et, s ils sont soudés, les soudures devront être effectuées en chanfreinant les bords en X, de façon à leur permettre de pénétrer parfaitement. De plus, la soudure ne sera pas effectuée sur les bords d origine de la tôle, mais seulement après que cette dernière ait été rognée sur une profondeur d au moins 20 mm, de façon à éliminer la partie la plus sujette aux criques d usinage (cela n est pas indispensable si l on se sert de tôle provenant de coils). Les tôles doivent être également assemblées en respectant le sens de laminage. Si les tôles de sous-traitance presentent un format carré, il faut augmenter la dimension de 20 mm par rapport à celle du disque. En ce qui concerne le matériel de sous-traitance, il vaut toujours mieux demander la confirmation des développements avant de couper les disques ou les carrés. USINAGE DU BORD Les fonds peuvent être fournis avec les bords bruts ou dressé. Le rognage est conseillé aussi bien pour atteindre la hauteur parfaite du fond que pour obtenir la planéité parfaite des bords. Nous vous renvoyons à la section du catalogue qui concerne ce sujet pour que vous puissiez nous indiquer le type de rognage que vous preferez. Il est également possible d effectuer le soyage du bord droit des fonds (permettant une meilleure introduction dans la virole), jusqu à un diametre maxi de 1800 mm et une hauteur maxi de 6 mm (voir tableau des bords) TOLÉRANCES En ce qui concerne les fonds emboutis, les tolérances appliquées sont toutes en conformité avec les normes en vigueur. Pour les fonds roulés, les tolèrances sont les suivantes: Sur le diamètre extérieur < Ø 2000 = ± 2 Ø > Ø 2000 = ± 3 Ø Ovalisation (différence maxi entre le diamètre minimum et le diamètre maximum) ± 3 Ø Hauteur totale (pour les fonds qui ne sont pas rognés) mm A la commande, il vous est possible de demander des tolérances spécifiques, qui seront étudiées afin d en établir la faisabilité. 8

9 Materiali - Materials - Materiaux - In generale possiamo lavorare materiali con carico di rottura massimo di 48/50 Kg./mm2 e con un allungamento minimo del 22/24% - I fondi in acciaio al carbonio disponibili a magazzino sono in: S235JR - UNI EN 10025/95 (Fe 360.B - UNI EN 10025/90 St DIN 17100/80 oppure AFNOR NF A /84) Tale materiale è tutto idoneo alla zincatura a caldo, secondo le seguenti condizioni: 1 - % massima di Si<0,03% 2 - % di Si+2,5P<0,09% (secondo la normativa francese AFNOR A /94) - La parte di fondi in acciaio inox disponibile a magazzino è in: ASTM A240 TP 304 (2000) - Disponiamo inoltre di un magazzino materia prima di acciaio al carbonio così composto: 1 - coils (in S235JR atto alla zincatura) 2 - lamiera da treno (in S275JR - Fe 430.B - St E28.2) Tale magazzino ci permette di rispondere con maggior celerità alle varie richieste della clientela.
