3 Workshop: Creative Spaces and Process for collaborative Decision Making Workshop presenters: Patrick Humphreys and Carol Lorac Co Directors, London Multimedia Lab for Audiovisual Composition and Communication London School of Economics and Political Science Professor Patrick Humphreys is Co Director of the London Multimedia Lab for Audiovisual Composition and Communication ( He convenes the Organizational Research Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science and is Course Director for the MSc in Organizational and Social Psychology. Within the LML, he directs the project Creative Partnerships: Pathways to Value for the Arts Council England and leads the RTD team for the European Union framework Project InCaS: Intellectual Capital Statement, Europe ( europe.org). He is responsible for the LML s joint initiative with ZenZone Media Lab, Beijing on Spritivity Workshops ( He has expertise in innovative and creative decision making, decision support systems, and enhancement of resources for health, culture, development, and networking. He has been involved in initiatives involving organizational transformation and sector development in many countries. He is currently chair of IFIP WG8.3. In 2006 he was programme chair for the IFIP WG8.3 conference on Creativity and Innovation in Decision making and Decision Support. Carol Lorac is a Senior Research Fellow in the Institute of Social Psychology, LSE. She is Co Director of the London Multimedia Lab for Audiovisual Composition and Communication. She founded the Department of Media Arts, Royal Holloway University of London. Her field of expertise is in audiovisual composition and multimedia communication. She is currently completing a combined print and electronic book, Images and Sounds: Audiovisual Language and Process for extending the boundaries of communication: Theory, practice and cases.
