3 Competition rules ART 1 : The regulations in force are that of the conditions of contract of the European Fencing Confederation ART 2 : A Technical Board of directors will be constituted on the spot and will resolve all contentious cases. ART 3 : equipments must comply with FIE regulations: avec mask 1600 N, suit 800 N, FIE blades. ART 4 : The check of licenses will be done during the checking of registrations. ART 5 : refereeing : Each participating federation must give in her own expenses the number of qualified referees according to the following rule considering the fact that two competitions (men and ladies) will be held: from 5 to 9 fencers (men+women) : 1 referee from 10 to 15 fencers (men+women) : 2 referees from 16 to 20 fencers (men+women) : 3 referees. These referees must be registered on the site EFC by their respective national federation. The non-respect for this rule will lead to a 500- fine by missing referee. All fencers of the faulty country will be authorized to participate only if this fine is paid before the beginning of competition. ART 6 : A men trophy and a ladies trophy will be allocated to the team introducing the 3 best fencers of the same club in the general ranking. ART 7 : the winners will receive a cup. The 3 best in general ranking will receive some wine and valuable prizes. ART 8 : to get registered implicates the acceptance of the present regulations and of the dispositions which follow from it. ART 9 : competition is open to U17 fencers (born in 2001, medical certificate requested), U20 and senior from all countries, without any age limit. ART 10: competition is taken in account for French national ranking. ART 11: Competition is taken in account in the European U23 ranking, men and ladies, qualifier for European championships U23 with a separated ranking. Registration fee Registration fee is 20. This must be paid on the day of competition while registration checking. It is to remind that the fencers younger than 23 have to get license of the European Fencing Confederation ; fee is to be paid by each national federation directly to European confederation. registration : Registration by national federations must be done on EFC website before the 18th of October 2016.
