1 Application online Online application on the FMSH Website between the3rd of march 2014 noon GMT until the 3rd of april noon GMT) FR : EN : Laboratoire d Excellence ICCA (Cultural Industries and artistic creation) CALL FOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP FERNAND BRAUDEL INCOMMING LABEX ICCA is offering 2 research fellowships. Application online Online application on the FMSH Website between the3rd of march 2014 noon GMT until the 3rd of april noon GMT) This programme targets applicants from all countries wishing to undertake a research stay in France. 1 Applicants must reside outside France and belong to a non-french research institution (university, academy of sciences, or other research organism). 2 At the time of the deadline for submission of proposals, candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (study, work, etc.) in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Short stays and holidays are not taken into account. 3 Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) as at the date of application (i.e. dissertation successfully defended).

2 4 The application must be submitted within six years of defending their doctoral dissertation. Exceptions may be granted in case of career break (maternity leave, illness, etc.). 5 Applicants must be fluent in one of the working languages of the host laboratory; fluency in French or English is preferable. 6 Any laboratory in which the applicant has already worked at any time during his/her scientific experience (including during doctoral studies) is not eligible as a host laboratory. Duration of the fellowship 9 months (starts october 2014) Fellowship holders must start their research stay maximum 6 months after the obtention of the grant. Amount of the fellowship The amount of the monthly stipend for room & board and living expenses is 2,000 (euros). The cost of medical insurance is covered for the researchers hosted in France. Travel expenses (return travel fare) between the researcher s country of residence and France or between France and the host country will be covered, subject to prior approval. Candidates will work on original research projects in the following areas: Publishing, cinema and broadcasting industries in the digital age (prospective analysis of the changes induced in these sectors by digital technologies, actors strategies, economic models, creation, uses ) Convergence in contents (analysis of multisupport exploitation practice and of the evolution of content creation process and development of new forms of production and circulation of these contents on the web 2.0. Regulation of creative industries and of the internet (analysis of regulation needs and existing regulations; economic and legal aspects ; evaluation) Video Games and education industries (interactions between the video games sector and education, serious games, elearning) The contribution of cultural economics to growth, in particular in relation to the integration of cultural industries into creative industries. Differentiation in territorial attractivity (analysis of the territorial issues linked to the cultural and digital industries, employment, development, population, training at the local scale regions, departments, urbans communities or cities)

Founded in 2011, ICCA ambitions to define new economic and regulatory models and to study new uses, emerging markets and changing legal frameworks, in traditional sectors as well as the digital sphere. ICCA brings together interdisplinary teams from several universities in domains as diverse as sociology, economics, law, communication and education. ICCA is also a forum promoting dialogue with professional networks and industrial actors in culture and the arts. Le LABEX ICCA propose 2 bourses postdoctorales. Le Programme Fernand Braudel-IFERincoming s'adresse à des chercheurs appartenant à un centre de recherche basé à l étranger. Les candidats postulent auprès de la FMSH et demandent un laboratoire d accueil scientifique de leur choix. Les lauréats travailleront sur des projets de recherche originaux couvrant les thématiques du Labex : Edition, Cinéma et audiovisuel à l ère du numérique (prospective et analyse des mutations induites dans ces secteurs, stratégies d acteurs, modèles économiques, créateurs, usages ) Convergence des contenus (analyse des pratiques d exploitation multisupports et de l évolution des processus de conception des contenus) et développement de nouvelles formes de production et de circulation de ces contenus sur le Web 2.0 Régulation des industries créatives et de l Internet (analyse des dispositifs et besoins de régulation, aspects juridiques et économiques, évaluation ) Jeux vidéos et industries de l éducation (analyse des interactions entre les secteurs du jeu vidéo et de l éducation ; serious games ; elearning) Apport de l économie de la culture à la croissance, notamment dans la perspective de l intégration des industries culturelles dans les industries créatives. Quelques mots sur le Labex ICCA : ICCA est un laboratoire de recherche interdiscplinaire sur les pratiques et les marchés de la culture, de l art et du numérique. Créé en 2011, ICCA a pour principaux objectifs la définition de nouveaux modèles économiques et de régulation, l étude des nouveaux usages et des marchés émergents et celle de la transformation des cadres juridiques, aussi bien dans les activités traditionnelles que dans l univers numérique. ICCA rassemble des équipes de plusieurs universités appartenant à différentes disciplines (sociologie, économie, droit, communication, sciences de l éducation). ICCA est aussi un lieu de dialogue avec les organismes professionnels et les acteurs industriels des secteurs de la culture et des arts. Partenaire de référence et laboratoire d idées, il exerce une fonction de veille, d expertise et de prospective.
