He works on DevOps Services for Bluemix, the browserbased development tools for Bluemix, and the underlying open source technologies in Eclipse Orion. John is also a prominent member of the Eclipse open source community, serving as co-lead for both Orion and the Eclipse Cloud Development project. He also serves on the Eclipse Architecture Council, and the Eclipse Foundation Board of Directors. John is a frequent speaker at technical conferences in both Europe and North America, serves on conference program committees, is a JavaOne Rock Star, and frequently writes blogs and articles on technical topics. ***** Anton is a software designer and developer in the IBM Cloud unit. He leads user experience design for the IBM Bluemix DevOps web IDE, and contributes to the open source Orion project. Ce n est plus les employeurs qui gèrent la carrière de leurs employés, cette responsabilité revient désormais à l employé. Afin d atteindre le succès dans votre carrière, quatre étapes clés doivent être suivies pour exécuter correctement votre plan de carrière! 1) Bien se comprendre. Le choix de carrière idéal est une combinaison des compétences, intérêts et offres du marché. Avoir une vision claire de nos forces et savoir où on apporte de la valeur est essentiel pour comprendre le fondement de nos cheminements de carrière. Nous allons donc explorer comment identifier la meilleure option de carrière, déterminer de manière générale quelles sont vos forces et comment les utiliser pour y concentrer votre attention. 2) Bien se vendre. De nos jours, les milieux de travail sont hyper-compétitifs, notre marque de commerce joue donc un énorme rôle dans la réussite d une carrière. Dans la plupart des cas, des compétences sont facilement acquises au sein d une main-d œuvre hautement qualifiée et instruite, mais il en est autrement pour ce qui est de la personnalité et de la correspondance entre compétences et plan de carrière. L engagement vis-à-vis de votre image de marque de commerce est indispensable pour en assurer la cohérence et éviter tout faux-pas! L articulation de votre image de marque de commerce et l ajustement de chaque élément-clé en consultation avec vos pairs, votre patron et vos clients sont essentiels à l'alignement de votre image de marque de commerce. Grâce à l'atelier, vous pourrez préciser votre image de marque de commerce et vous mettre au défi sur ce qui doit être fait pour réaligner vos habitudes et comportements en fonction de l image visée. 3) Réseauter dans l'ère numérique! 4 Biographie du présentateur Denis se sert de sa propre expérience de carrière, laquelle est drastiquement passée de la haute technologie à la formation et au coaching, il est considéré comme un coach et un formateur engageant! Avec plus de 20 années d'expérience professionnelle au gouvernement et en entreprise, Denis coach les dirigeants de tous les niveaux, depuis les six dernières années. Il a travaillé avec des spécialistes en coaching de carrière tels que Right Management et Knightsbridge. Denis a obtenu son baccalauréat en commerce de l'université d'ottawa, son certificat d'études supérieures en coaching exécutif à l'université de Royal Roads et sa certification de coach professionnel de la fédération internationale de Coaching..

The truth is you may have been right. Your job plays a critical role in your mental and physical health. The 2012 GFI Software's IT Admin Stress Survey shows that information technology administrators may be amongst the highest stressed. That's because stress has caused almost 70 percent of IT professionals to say they've consider changing careers. Additionally, nearly 85 percent of respondents felt that this stress affected their personal life in some way. Experts define stress as an individual s reaction to events around them. The good news is there are techniques for controlling our reactions to those events even if we cannot control the events. This workshop will focus on developing the techniques to resist stress. Expect to be fully involved in the learning process. During this workshop you will develop your own personalized action plan for dealing with stress uses these techniques and practices. Bill Wright is an Ottawa based speaker/trainer/coach. He is the survivor of job burnout, a condition that destroys the careers and families of many people. He taught at Algonquin College for thirty years and is certified DISC and NLP Practitioner specializing in helping professionals take control of their lives. He helps professionals develop life balance; leading them from job stress to job satisfaction. Bill belongs to the International Coaching Federation and is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and serves on the Board. He spoke as the chapter s Rising Star at the Associations National 2011 Conference.
