The project is the creation of an on-line library of 24 videos showing standard procedures related to the various oncology disciplines mainly: surgical oncology, radiotherapy, medical oncology, paediatric oncology and neuro-oncology. The videos are accompanied by practical explanations made by experts in the specific subject area of each session. The procedures performed and described by the experts were filmed in the 18 cancer teaching partner institutions and provide the core content of the video sessions. The tool includes relevant features enabling the users to watch, listen, read and provide feedback on their needs. The transcript of each of the 25 videos is available in six different European languages in addition to English: French, Dutch, German, Italian, Polish, Slovenian. Videos are classified by oncology discipline. The target audience will be young oncologists in Europe who need to learn the standard practical procedures related to the various oncology disciplines involved in the treatment of cancer patients. Each video is addressed to a specific target group defined in the video introduction. 12 Produit 'Oncovideos website' Onvovideos - Developper des compétences professionnelles en oncologie par Titre: Oncovideos website Type de Produit: Site Internet Texte marketing: The website hosts 25 videos on oncology procedures. The videos have been produced by experts in the specific oncology topics in cancer centers across Europe. The videos are accompanied by powerpoint presentations and audio descriptions of the procedures. Description: The video topics concern standard procedures in the various oncology disciplines including radiation oncology, medical oncology, oncology surgery, paediatric oncolofy and neurooncology. Cible: The educational material is addressed to European young oncologists who sepcialise in one of the oncology discipline and lack opportunities to learn practical procedures.transcripts of the videso are available in 6 European languages in addition to English: Dutch, French, Slovenian, German, Polish, Italian. Résultat: So far the videos have been watched by more than 1500 unique visitors. Description: The video template outlines the key elements important to ensure that the videos are produced according to professional standards both from a content and technical point of view. The template defines technical requirements for pressional production, direction, sound, lighting, editing, etc. It outlines the format, the structure and the length for all videos that needed to be respected by the teaching experts and the technical experts. These videos on how to perform standard procedures in oncology constitute the main material be posted on the Oncovideos website. The filming and most of the editing of the videos was produced in the institutions. The videos include a visual and an audio part as well as slides presentations. The transcripts of the videos is translated into 6 European languages: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish and Slovenian. Cible: Junior oncologists who need to acquire the practical skills to perfom oncology procedures. 15 Produit 'Accreditation certificates' Onvovideos - Developper des compétences professionnelles en oncologie par Titre: Accreditation certificates Type de Produit: Transparence et certification Texte marketing: Users of the videos will be able to collect Continuing medical education certificates upon succesfull completion of a test and after evaluation of the video. The certificates are giving evidence that they followed continuing medical education training and are required in more and more European countries. Description: The video materials were submitted for accreditation to the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE). ACOE delivered a certificate of accreditation to the project coordinator, ECCO, allowing the consortium to publicise to the potential users that the material is accredited and therefore enables the users to take an accreditation test and collect European continuing medical education credits which more and more European doctors need to satisfy the national requirements to practice. Cible: The accredited video material is addressed to the young oncologists who will be able to learn oncology procedures on-line and obtain a continuing medical education certificate certifying that he/she has used an educational module with an evaluation of their learning outcome. The certificate is only obtained when the user provides 80% of correct answers. Résultat: Certificates of Accreditation Domaine d'application: The certificates enable the users to take an accreditation test and collect European continuing medical education credits which more and more European doctors need to satisfy the national requirements to practice their medical specialty. Description: The plan outlines the precise actions that were undertaken to promote and disseminate the oncovideos website to the target audience. It indictes the types of activity and provides a list of all the urls where the project is promoted. The workplan was coordinated by ECCO with the input from the associated partners that acted as 'relay bodies' and the official partners. Cible: All partners (official and supporting) shared the workload on the dissemination activities. The plan is a compilation of all communication activities providing an overview to all on what has been done by whom.
