PATTERN PIECES 1- Skirt x2 3- Elastic length x1 2- Waistband x2 BODY MEASUREMENTS PRINT & ASSEMBLE Be sure that you always print your patterns in ACTUAL SIZE. Also, verify that the page setup is adjusted for A4 (Europe and Australia) or letter (North America). Test your print settings by printing and measuring WITH A RULER the test square first (page 5). Its dimensions must be 10x10cm or 4x4". If not, please revise your settings and print again. Instructions EN: Page 1-2 Instructions FR: Page 3-4 Pattern: Page 6-10 Notes: S-L= Selvage F-P= Fold. Join the fabric selvages to the middle, RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER. BEFORE REMOVING THE PATTERN, notch the edges of the fabric as indicated. CONSTRUCTION Notes: Unless stated otherwise, stitch at 12mm (½") from the edge and match notches and markings with the same numbers. Assemble RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER, namely by placing the right side of a piece against the right side of another one the right side being the side showing when the garment is worn. Use a straight stretch stitch or a narrow and short zigzag stitch. For stretch-proof seams, use all-purpose thread for the needle and textured thread for the bobbin. Glossary: EDGE-FINISH: with an overlocker (serger) machine, serge cutting away the excess of seam allowances. With a standard machine, stitch next to the first stitching with a zigzag and cut away the excess of seam allowances close to the second stitching. To assemble your pattern, cut or fold the margins along the dashed lines only. Then, to place the sheets in the right order, tape them together using the plan (page 6). The pattern board is ready to use; seam allowances are already built-in (12mm-½"). FABRICS & TRIMS 4-way* stretch knit with spandex, width: 150cm (59") length**: 0m60 (0yd¾). *A section measuring 10cm (4") can be stretched lengthwise and crosswise, without resistance, to at least 14cm (5 ½"). If not, choose a larger size. **Prints may require extra fabric for pattern matching. Knitted elastic, width: 25mm (1") length: 0m90 (1yd) see the piece 3- ELASTIC LENGTH. All-purpose thread Stretch needle SK710 XS-XL Double stretch needle Textured thread 1- Assemble the skirt panels at the sides EDGE-FINISH the seam allowances and turn the skirt inside out. 2- Assemble the waistband at the short sides, trim the seam allowances to half and press open. Then, with WRONG SIDES TOGETHER, fold the waistband to align the raw edges. Press the fold. 3- Stitch the waistband to RIGHT SIDE of top edges of skirt, matching up the sides, and leave a small gap. With a safety pin, insert one end of the knitted elastic through this gap. Slide it through the waistband with the safety pin and once fully inserted, grab the elastic Page 1

2 ends and overlap them by 10mm (⅜"). Stitch over the overlap a few times with a zigzag. Then, close the small gap and edge-finish the allowances. 4- Hem the bottom of the skirt by folding in the edge at 20mm (¾"). Press and pin down the hem. Then, stitch down the hem to RIGHT SIDE. De plus, vérifiez que la mise en page soit ajustée au format A4 (Europe) ou lettre (Canada). Testez vos réglages en imprimant le carré d essai (page 5) puis mesurez-le AVEC UNE RÈGLE. Celui-ci devrait mesurer 10x10cm ou 4x4". En cas contraire, révisez vos réglages et imprimez à nouveau. Instructions EN : Page 1-2 Instructions FR : Page 3-4 Patron : Page 6-10 Pour l assemblage du patron, coupez ou pliez chaque feuille le long du pointillé puis collez-les ensemble en suivant le plan (page 6) afin d assembler dans le bon ordre. La planche est prête à utiliser ; les surplus de couture sont déjà inclus (12mm-½"). TISSUS & FOURNITURES Tricot jersey bi-élastique* avec élasthanne, larg. : 150cm (59") long.** : 0m60 (0yd¾). *Une section de 10cm (4") peut être étirée en longueur et largeur, sans résistance, jusqu à au moins 15cm (5 ½"). Sinon, choisissez une taille plus large. **Le raccord des motifs peut nécessiter un surplus de tissu. Remarques : S-L= Lisière F-P= Pliure. Joignez les lisières du tissu au milieu, ENDROIT CONTRE ENDROIT. AVANT D ENLEVER LE PATRON, crantez le bord du tissu tel qu indiqué. MONTAGE Remarques : À moins d avis contraire, piquez à 12mm (½") du bord puis faites coïncider les crans et repères ayant les mêmes numéros. De plus, assemblez ENDROIT CONTRE ENDROIT, c est-à-dire disposez l endroit d une pièce contre l endroit d une autre - l endroit du tissu étant le côté visible du vêtement une fois fini. Piquez au point droit extensible ou au zigzag très étroit et court. Pour des coutures élastiques, enfilez l aiguille avec le fil tout usage puis la canette avec le fil texturé. Glossaire : SURFILER : avec une surjeteuse, recoupez les surplus près de la ligne de couture. Avec la machine conventionnelle, piquer à nouveau près de la ligne de couture au zigzag et recouper les surplus près de la deuxième couture. 1- Assemblez les panneaux de la jupe aux latérales. SURFILEZ les surplus et retournez la jupe à l'endroit. 2- Assemblez la bandes de taille aux côtés court, réduisez les surplus et ouvrez-les au fer. Ensuite, pliez la bande de taille, l'envers à l'intérieur, afin d'aligner les bords vifs. Repassez la pliure. Élastique tricoté, larg. :25mm (1") long. : 0m90 (1yd) voir la pièce «3- LONGUEUR D'ÉLASTIQUE». Fil tout usage Aiguille stretch SK710 XS-XL Fil texturé Aiguille double stretch 3- Piquez la bande de taille sur l'endroit du bord supérieur de la jupe, en faisant coïncider les latérales, puis laissez une ouverture. Avec une épingle de sûreté, insérez un bout de l'élastique par l'ouverture glissez-le au travers de la bande de taille. Lorsque Page 3

4 celui-ci complètement inséré, joignez les bouts et superposez-les de 10mm (⅜"). Piquez au zigzag pardessus des parties superposées à plusieurs reprises. Ensuite, refermez l'ouverture et SURFILEZ les surplus. 4- Réalisez l'ourlet au bas de la jupe en rentrant le bord à 20mm (¾"). Repassez et épinglez le rentré. Ensuite, piquez le rentré sur l'endroit.
