3 INTRODUCTION STUDYING AT THE ANTWERP INSTITUTE OF TROPICAL MEDICINE The ITM is an independent centre for specialised academic research and training, recognised and funded by the Ministry of Education of the Flemish Community in Belgium. ITM collaborates closely with the Belgian Directorate General for Development Cooperation (DGDC), which co-sponsors its international training courses, and with many other national and international agencies. It started its activities in Brussels in 1906, and has been based in its characteristic buildings in Antwerp since Today, it works with its partners all over the world towards a common goal of health and health care for all through the strengthening of the rational basis of health care in the public interest. ITM Training Programmes Training in the fields of tropical medicine and health care in developing countries is one of ITM s core tasks. Over students have been trained at the ITM, of whom more than to the masters and doctoral level. The quality of ITM s training programmes is based on: Field experience and academic excellence resulting from a long institutional tradition of basic and applied research; Social relevance assured by intense involvement in many health programmes all over the world; A pedagogic concept which aims at the confrontation of personal experiences and views of students with those of staff and fellow participants, and with universal models and values of health care. ITM offers training at four levels (see table with course overview) International Master Degree Courses in the fields of Public Health (MPH), Disease Control (MDC) and Tropical Animal Health (MSTAH) for scientists and health professionals working in developing countries. Postgraduate certificate courses in Tropical Medicine for medical doctors, pharmacists, graduates in biomedical sciences, nurses and midwives. Doctoral research training in association with universities, in specific fields ranging from molecular parasitology to health systems research. Educational workshops, seminars, short courses and individual training on highly specialised topics including some modules from the Master programmes. 4 PRACTICAL INFORMATION Fellowships Fellowships are available from various sources. Each sponsor has different regulations, forms and deadlines. A useful handbook is Study Abroad, published by the UNESCO, which contains comprehensive and updated information on fellowships and educational exchange. Fellowships through ITM With the financial support of the Belgian Directorate for Development Cooperation (DGDC), ITM offers a number of fellowships (an average of 60 per year) to applicants from developing countries for international Master courses. Acceptance to a course is conditional to, but no guarantee for such scholarships. Candidates can obtain updated information on the application procedures from the Student Service. A few fellowships also exist for participants from developing countries interested in certain short courses. ITM may negotiate a small number (an average of 8 yearly) of private fellowships for EU-citizens. These fellowships, mainly for Master courses, can cover up to 60% of the registration and tuition fees. Yearly a limited number of fellowships for doctoral studies can be awarded with the financial support of the DGDC and other sponsors. Note: For all ITM fellowships (for applicants from developing countries and from EU countries) the application must always be joined to the course application form. It can not be handed in separately at a later stage. Venue and language EN All courses take place in the central buildings of ITM, near the centre of Antwerp. Antwerp is a lively, pleasant city offering a great deal of social, cultural and tourist opportunities. The cost of living is reasonable for European standards. The postgraduate certificate courses are taught each year in English and French. The course for paramedical health professionals is taught in Dutch and French. The international courses in Public Health, Disease Control and Animal Health yearly alternate between French and English (see overview page 38)

5 PRACTICAL INFORMATION Immigrant regulations Course participants who are not residents of the European Union should not leave for Belgium until they have at least the following important and compulsory documents: 1. The Notice of Admission to their course delivered by the ITM. 2. A valid passport obtained from their government, not a service passport. 3. An Authorization for Temporary Residence, which is a type D visa, for a stay longer than 3 months, available only via the Belgian Embassy in their country. The Belgian Embassy in the participants country will deliver such a type D student-visa upon submission of (1) the official letter of admission and (2) the evidence of a study grant and/or other means of subsistence during a stay in Antwerp. Sometimes the student will have to present a certificate of moral probity as well as a copy of a medical certificate. Participants who would like to be joined by their families should enquire about a visa with the Belgian diplomatic representatives in their country. Unfortunately this arduous process takes several months and has an unsure outcome. Accommodation ITM provides no housing facilities, but the Student Service assists course participants in finding accommodation and in other matters of social welfare. The average rent per month for furnished accommodation can go from a room with shared bathroom and cooking facilities for Euro to a small comfortable apartment of minimum 500 Euro. GENERAL INFORMATION The International Course in Health Development (ICHD) considers health as part of the well being of a society: it is a necessary condition for development, but at the same time a result of it. Health status is influenced by health services in the broadest sense. Resources are limited and therefore choices have to be made within the health sector and between the health and other sectors. The ICHD has to be seen as one step in learning how in these decisions the elements of accessibility to adequate care, sustainability in the existing and emerging socio-economic context, the need to offer an adequate response to felt needs, participation and enhancement of self-determination and self-reliance can be balanced 2. OBJECTIVES The ICHD helps health officers and health planners to deal adequately with management and planning problems of health systems in the context of comprehensive development. This translates into the following objectives: To enable health professionals to deal with problems in the field of management, organisation and planning of health care delivery systems. To enable health professionals to analyse and appraise specific health problems and to formulate appropriate control strategies. To develop the capacities, skills and practical knowledge necessary to function as generalist public health professionals. To provide insight in important fields of other disciplines relevant to public health and to facilitate a trans-disciplinary dialogue. To improve the health professionals skills in communication and coaching and to enhance their self-learning capacity. EN

7 MASTER IN PUBLIC HEALTH International Course in Health Development ICHD LEARNING OUTCOMES For each of the objectives, detailed learning outcomes are defined. At the end of the programme participants are expected: to have obtained a thorough understanding of the nature and the determinants of health, health problems and health care and to be able to draw on an appropriate frame of reference regarding quality of health care, health services and health systems. to be able to critically describe and assess health and service delivery problems through appropriate analytical models. to be able to use a range of methods and tools for description, analysis and problem solving in the fields of care provision and organisation of care systems. to be able to discuss and collaborate with experts from fields of sociology, economics and development in search for solutions to health problems. to be able to coach and train his/her peers, the staff at other levels of the structure in which s/he works, and to communicate with the general public. 3. COURSE PROGRAMME The ICHD programme consists of five axes. Each corresponds broadly to one set of learning outcomes and consists of several modules. 1. Health service organisation The main axis covers the organisation of health services (HSO) and aims at presenting and discussing conceptual frameworks for the analysis of the appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency of health care offered at various levels, allowing participants to develop the necessary skills to manage health facilities and human resources and to formulate and implement health policy at national level. The modules include Introduction to Health Services Organisation, Health Policy, Planning & Reform, First Line Health Services, Hospital and Local Health Systems. Field visits in Belgium and in another industrialised country are part of this axis. It accounts for about one third of the total contact hours and represents the main focus of the programme. EN 2. Methods for the analysis of health problems This axis covers the analytical models of vertical, operational (Piot s model) and causal analysis. The aim is to familiarise the participants with three different complementary models of analysis of health problems, enabling them to identify the most relevant and acceptable activities and strategies from the point of view of a generalist public health professional in order to respond to important health problems.

Methods and techniques Methods and Techniques introduces the basic elements of epidemiology and statistics, control of epidemics, decision making, management, research and demography. It offers the participants the opportunity of learning to use tools, techniques and methods that will assist them in taking rational decisions. 4. Broadening the horizon Reflecting the basic principles of the programme considering health as only one element in the overall context of development, this axis aims to provide a brief introduction to Economics, Development Science and Sociology, as applied to health. An overview of current issues and developments in these fields relevant to the programme is given to stimulate a trans-disciplinary attitude. Optional modules allow the participants to study specific topics in more detail. 5. Self-learning This axis aims first to develop the communication skills of participants in the broadest sense: presentations, writing documents, papers etc. Second, a consistent self-study component is based on descriptive and analytical seminars, the term paper and the thesis. Presenting seminars During descriptive and analytical seminars participants present their health system and a concrete problem they faced in the field. The aim is to understand the diversity of situations met in the field and to confront the concepts and methods learned in the programme with concrete field situations. Presenting a professional oral presentation and active participation in group discussions are additional objectives. Writing a term paper The general objective of this exercise is to develop or reinforce the participant s writing skills. Participants are expected to use their previous knowledge and experience, the concepts taught in the ICHD and the existing literature on the subject. Presenting a thesis The objectives of the thesis are to improve the participants ability to critically analyse a problem they face in their professional situation, to appraise and use the existing literature on this topic, to develop relevant solutions and to strengthen her/his writing skills. EN This postgraduate programme represents a study load of to hours, which is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.

TEACHING METHODS The didactic methods of the ICHD include theoretical classes (ex cathedra lectures), interaction enhancing methods (participant s case studies, discussions, group work & presentations, seminars, field visits) and specific self-study assignments (exercises, seminars, term paper, thesis). The tutor offers academic support to the participants. S/he moderates regular information sessions, stimulates communication between the participants and teaching staff and presents information about the programme activities and assignments. 5. EVALUATION AND DEGREE The student evaluation consists of four elements. The average weight of each element in the contribution to the final mark is as follows: Tests: 40% Process evaluation: 20% Thesis: 20% Final examination (oral before an international jury): 20%. The first element consists of tests for the various modules, which are spread over the academic year. An examination for a Master s Degree in Public Health is held at the end of the course. Participants who do not meet the requirements for the Degree may receive a Certificate of Attendance. 6. DURATION OF THE COURSE The ICHD starts mid-september and finishes early July. For exact dates please consult the course overview, the course secretariat or the website. EN 7. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The International Course in Health Development is open to medical doctors and other public health professionals with a relevant four-year university degree and a minimum of four years professional experience in the field of health care delivery in developing countries. This course is alternatively organised in English or French. During the course language will be English, in it will be in French. A good knowledge of the course language (French or English depending on the year) is essential. For candidates from countries where the course language is not the official language, an official certificate is required to prove sufficient knowledge of the language. This certificate should be based on an officially recognised test (eg TOEFL, IELTS, embassy, ). Participants to the French course should have at least a working knowledge of English. In order to enable the Selection Committee to appraise the applications properly, candidates should complete the application form and return it as soon as possible and at the latest on

Accepted candidates will be sent a Notice of Admission. Application forms are available from the course secretariat or can be downloaded from the website. 8. ACCREDITATION The ICHD is internationally accredited through the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation ( 9. TUITION FEE AND SCHOLARSHIPS The registration and tuition fee for the Master in Health Development amount to Euro (2005). The fee might slightly change in subsequent years. Scholarships can be obtained through the ITM for students from developing countries and from the European Union. Information on the exact fee for a specific academic year and on scholarships is available in the general ITM course overview and on our website as well as from ITM Student Service through education@itg.be 10. INFI: INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF FORMER ICHD PARTICIPANTS The alumni association International Network of Former ICHD participants (INFI) stimulates contacts between the former participants and the Institute. INFI produces two newsletters per year and offers a book service. The lecturers of the ITM remain available for academic advice. The association also supports national and regional meetings of local alumni associations. EN

11 INTRODUCTION ETUDIER À L INSTITUT DE MÉDECINE TROPICALE D ANVERS L IMT est un centre autonome de recherche et de formation académique, reconnu et financé par le Ministère de l Education de la Communauté Flamande de Belgique. L IMT collabore étroitement avec le Directorat Général de la Coopération au Développement (DGCD) du Gouvernement Belge, qui co-finance les cours internationaux, ainsi qu avec de nombreuses autres agences nationales et internationales dans la poursuite de l objectif «santé et soins de santé pour tous». Le renforcement des bases rationnelles des soins de santé, et ceci dans l intérêt commun, constitue la mission internationale de l IMT. L IMT a commencé ses activités à Bruxelles en 1906 et a été transféré à Anvers en LES PROGRAMMES DE FORMATION DE L IMT L IMT considère la formation dans le domaine de la médecine tropicale et des soins de santé dans les pays en voie de développement comme une de ses tâches fondamentales. Parmi les étudiants formés à l IMT, plus de étudiants internationaux ont été qualifiés au niveau de Master ou de Doctorat. L IMT offre une formation à quatre niveaux (voir tableau de synthèse) Des formations Master de niveau international pour des scientifiques et des professionnels de la santé travaillant dans des pays en voie de développement. Des cours de master existent en Santé Publique (MPH), Contrôle des Maladies (MCM) et en Santé Animale Tropicale (MSSAT). Des certificats de postgraduat en Médecine Tropicale pour médecins, pharmaciens, licenciés en sciences biomédicales, infirmier(e)s et sages-femmes. Une formation doctorale, en collaboration avec les universités dans des domaines spécifiques allant de la parasitologie moléculaire à la recherche en systèmes de santé. Des cours, séminaires et ateliers de formation ainsi qu une formation individuelle sur des sujets spécialisés. Certains modules des formations Master peuvent être suivis comme des formations courtes. La qualité des programmes d enseignement de l IMT est basée sur L excellence académique et l expérience de terrain, issues d une longue tradition institutionnelle de recherche fondamentale et appliquée. La pertinence sociale assurée par une implication intense dans de nombreux programmes de santé à travers le monde. Le concept pédagogique qui vise la confrontation d expériences et de points de vue entre participants, avec ceux des enseignants et participants et avec des modèles et des valeurs universelles dans le domaine de la santé. 12 INFORMATION PRATIQUE BOURSES D ÉTUDES Différents organismes peuvent octroyer des bourses d étude. Chaque bailleur de fonds a son propre règlement, ses propres formulaires et dates d échéance. Vous pouvez consulter le guide Etudes à l étranger, publié par l UNESCO, qui contient des informations utiles sur les différentes bourses d études et sur les échanges éducationnels. BOURSES DISPONIBLES PAR LE BIAIS DE L IMT Grâce au support financier du Directorat Général de la Coopération au Développement (DGCD) l IMT peut offrir un certain nombre de bourses d études (en moyenne 60 par année) aux candidats Master originaires des pays en voie de développement. L admission du candidat au Cours ne garantit pas l obtention d une bourse d étude. Un certain nombre de bourses sont attribuées aux candidats des formations courtes originaires des pays en voie de développement. L IMT peut négocier un nombre limité de bourses partielles privées (en moyenne 8 par année) pour des candidats, originaires de l Union Européenne, au cours de Master surtout. Ces bourses couvrent au maximum 60% des frais d inscription. Chaque année un nombre limité de bourses de doctorat peut être octroyé grâce à l appui financier de la DGCD et autres bailleurs de fonds. Remarque: Toute demande de bourse (de la part des participants de pays en voie de développement ou de l EU), à l exception des bourses de doctorat, doit être jointe au formulaire d inscription au cours. La demande de bourse ne peut pas être remise ultérieurement (de façon séparée). FR SITE ET LANGUE Tous les cours sont organisés dans les bâtiments de l IMT, situés près du centre d Anvers. Anvers est une ville animée et agréable qui offre un bon nombre d attractions sociales, culturelles et touristiques. Le coût de la vie y est raisonnable selon les normes européennes. Les postgraduats en Médecine Tropicale sont enseignés chaque année en anglais et en français. Le postgraduat pour infirmier(e)s et sages-femmes est enseigné en néerlandais et français. Les Cours Internationaux en Santé Publique, en Contrôle des Maladies et en Santé Animale Tropicale alternent annuellement le français et l anglais (voir tableau).

13 INFORMATION PRATIQUE PERMIS DE SÉJOUR Des candidats non ressortissants de l Union Européenne doivent disposer des documents suivants avant de partir pour la Belgique: 1. La Notification d admission au Cours délivrée par l IMT. 2. Un passeport valable obtenu auprès de leur gouvernement. 3. Une Autorisation de séjour provisoire, c est-à-dire un visa d étudiant du type D, pour un séjour > 3 mois, délivré uniquement par les autorités belges dans leur pays. Les autorités belges au pays du participant délivreront un visa d étudiant du type D sur présentation (1) d une lettre d admission au cours de l IMT et (2) la preuve de moyens de subsistance (bourse ou autre) durant le séjour à Anvers. Parfois on demandera à l étudiant de présenter un casier judiciaire et/ou une copie d un certificat médical. Les participants qui envisagent un séjour accompagné de leur famille doivent s informer pour les visas auprès des autorités belges dans leur pays. Malheureusement cette démarche peut durer des mois et n aboutit pas toujours. LOGEMENT L IMT ne dispose pas de facilités d hébergement, mais le Service Etudiants aide les étudiants avec la recherche d un logement et dans d autres domaines d encadrement social. Le loyer mensuel peut varier entre Euros pour une chambre meublée avec sanitaire et cuisine commune jusqu à 500 Euros pour un petit appartement confortable. Informations supplémentaires Tous les participants et les membres de famille accompagnants doivent être couverts par une assurance maladie durant la période du cours. INFORMATION GENERALE Le Cours International pour la Promotion de la Santé (CIPS) envisage la santé comme un élément de bien-être d une société: elle en est une condition nécessaire, et en même temps un résultat. Le niveau de santé est cependant influencé par les soins de santé dans le sens large du terme. Dans un contexte de ressources limitées, des priorités doivent être définies au sein du secteur sanitaire et entre les divers secteurs. Le CIPS ambitionne de contribuer à former les professionnels de santé à une prise de décision qui prenne en compte différents éléments : l accessibilité à des soins adéquats, la pérennité des activités sanitaires, la nécessité d offrir une réponse aux besoins ressentis, la participation et le renforcement de l autodétermination et de l autonomie. 2. OBJECTIFS L objectif du CIPS est de renforcer les capacités des professionnels de santé à prendre correctement en charge les problèmes de management et de planification des systèmes de soins de santé, dans le cadre d un développement global. Cela se traduit par les objectifs suivants Renforcer les capacités des professionnels de santé à traiter les questions de management, d organisation et de planification des systèmes de soins de santé. Renforcer les capacités des professionnels de santé à analyser et évaluer des problèmes de santé spécifiques et à formuler des stratégies de contrôle appropriées. Stimuler le développement de capacités, compétences et connaissances pratiques nécessaires aux professionnels de santé pour leur rôle de généraliste en santé publique. Souligner l apport essentiel d autres disciplines pertinentes en santé publique et faciliter le dialogue trans-disciplinaire. Améliorer les compétences des professionnels de santé en communication et en transfert de connaissance, et développer leurs capacités d auto-apprentissage. FR

15 MASTER EN SANTÉ PUBLIQUE Cours International pour la Promotion de la Santé CIPS Objectifs d apprentissage Aux objectifs du cours correspondent des objectifs d apprentissage bien définis. A la fin du cours les participants sont sensés: Avoir acquis une compréhension approfondie de la nature et des déterminants de la santé, des problèmes de santé et des soins de santé, et être capable de développer un cadre de référence approprié concernant la qualité des soins de santé, des services de santé et des systèmes de santé. Etre capable de décrire et d évaluer de manière critique les problèmes de santé spécifiques, en utilisant des modèles analytiques appropriés. Etre capable d utiliser un ensemble de techniques utiles à la description, l analyse et la résolution de problèmes d offre de soins et d organisation de systèmes de soins. Etre capable d engager un dialogue et de collaborer avec des experts dans les domaines de la sociologie, l économie et le développement dans la recherche de solutions aux problèmes de la santé. Etre capable d encadrer et de former ses pairs, les autres professionnels de son environnement professionnel, et de communiquer avec le grand public. 3. ARCHITECTURE DU COURS Le programme est actuellement organisé autour de cinq axes. Chaque axe correspond à un ensemble d objectifs d apprentissage et regroupe différents modules. 1. Organisation des services de santé (OSS) L organisation des services de santé représente l orientation principale du cours. Il comprend environ un tiers du total des heures de cours. Il présente et discute des cadres conceptuels pour analyser l adéquation, l efficacité et l efficience des soins de santé offerts à divers niveaux. Ce faisant, son objectif est de permettre aux participants de renforcer leurs compétences pour gérer les services de santé et les ressources humaines, et pour formuler et mettre en œuvre des politiques de santé au niveau national. Ce module comprend : Introduction à l Organisation des services de santé ; Service de santé de premier échelon ; Hôpital ; Systèmes locaux de santé ; Politique de santé planification et réforme. Des visites de terrain en Belgique et dans un autre pays industrialisé sont également organisées. FR 2. Méthodes d analyse des problèmes de santé Cet axe présente trois modèles d analyse des problèmes de santé : l analyse verticale, l analyse opérationnelle et l analyse causale. La familiarisation des participants avec ces modèles différents et complémentaires a pour objectif de leur permettre, en tant que «généraliste» en santé publique, d interagir avec les spécialistes en contrôle des maladies, et d identifier les activités et stratégies les plus appropriées et les plus acceptables pour répondre aux problèmes de santé importants.

16 MASTER EN SANTÉ PUBLIQUE Cours International pour la Promotion de la Santé CIPS 3. Méthodes et techniques. Cet axe initie les participants aux techniques d épidémiologie et de statistique, de démographie, de contrôle des maladies, du management, de la recherche et de la prise de décision. Il offre aux participants l opportunité d apprendre à utiliser un ensemble d outils qui les aideront à prendre des décisions rationnelles. 4. Elargissement de l horizon Fidèle à la philosophie du cours qui envisage l organisation des soins de santé le contexte plus général du développement, cet axe propose une brève introduction à l Economie, au Développement et à la Sociologie. Des débats en cours dans ces disciplines et présentant un lien avec le domaine de la santé sont abordés afin de stimuler une attitude transdisciplinaire. Des modules optionnels permettent aux participants d étudier des thèmes particuliers plus en détail. 5. Auto-apprentissage Cet axe a deux objectifs : (i) de développer chez les participants leurs compétences en communication au sens large : présentations orales, animation de débats, rédaction de documents ; (ii) développer les capacités d auto-apprentissage à travers la préparation de séminaires, d un essai et d un mémoire. Les séminaires Durant les séminaires descriptifs et analytiques les participants présentent leur système de santé et les problèmes concrets auxquels ils ont été confrontés dans la pratique. En terme d auto-apprentissage, les séminaires permettent d appréhender la diversité des situations de terrain et de confronter les concepts et méthodes étudiés au cours de la formation avec des situations concrètes. En terme de techniques de communication, ils permettent aux participants de s exercer à la présentation orale, à la modération de discussion et à l analyse de problèmes en groupes. L essai Cet exercice est essentiellement conçu pour développer ou améliorer les capacités d écriture à travers la rédaction d un court document sur un sujet choisi par le participant, et pour lequel il (elle) peut utiliser ses connaissances et expériences préalables, les concepts enseignés au CIPS et la littérature existante. Le mémoire Le mémoire vise à améliorer la capacité des participants à analyser de façon critique un problème rencontré sur le terrain, à lire et utiliser la littérature existante sur ce sujet donné, à développer des solutions pertinentes et à renforcer leurs talents d écriture. FR Ce programme représente à heures d étude, équivalent à 60 crédits ECTS.

MÉTHODES PÉDAGOGIQUES Les méthodes pédagogiques appliquées comprennent des cours théoriques (ex cathedra), des méthodes favorisant l interaction (étude de cas présentés par les participants, discussions, travail de groupe et présentations, séminaires, visites de terrain) et des exercices d auto apprentissage (exercices, séminaires, essai, mémoire). Un tuteur offre un soutien académique aux participants. Il/elle anime régulièrement des sessions d information, favorise la communication entre les participants et le staff enseignant et les informe sur le programme, les activités et les travaux imposés. 5. EVALUATION ET DIPLÔME L évaluation des participants se fait à travers quatre outils. Le poids relatif de chacun des outils dans la note finale se présente comme suit : Tests : 40 % Appréciation du processus d apprentissage : 20 % Mémoire : 20 % Examen final (oral, devant un jury international) : 20 % Les tests sont effectués pour différents modules au cours de l année. Un examen final pour l obtention du diplôme de Master en Santé Publique a lieu à la fin de la formation. Les participants qui ne remplissent pas les conditions d obtention du diplôme reçoivent un certificat de participation au cours. 6. DURÉE DU COURS Le CIPS débute habituellement mi-septembre et se termine fin juin. Pour connaître les dates exactes, veuillez consulter la brochure générale de l IMT ou le site web, ou contacter le secrétariat du cours. 7. LANGUE ET CRITÈRES D ADMISSION Le Cours International pour la Promotion de la Santé est ouvert aux médecins et aux autres professionnels de la santé ayant un diplôme universitaire sanctionnant un cycle complet d au moins 4 ans. Une expérience professionnelle d au moins 4 ans dans le domaine de l offre de soins de santé en pays de développement est requise pour l admission. FR Le cours est alternativement organisé en anglais et en français. En le cours aura lieu en anglais. En il sera organisé en français. Une bonne maîtrise de la langue d enseignement (français ou anglais selon la session) est obligatoire. Pour les candidats venant de pays qui n ont pas la langue du cours comme langue officielle, la maîtrise de la langue sera certifiée par une attestation fournie par un institut officiel de langues après un test (Alliance française, Toefl, IELTS, Ambassade,.). Les participants au cours francophone devront également avoir une connaissance passive de l anglais.

18 MASTER EN SANTÉ PUBLIQUE Cours International pour la Promotion de la Santé CIPS Afin de permettre au Comité de Sélection de juger la demande d admission, les candidats sont priés de remplir le formulaire de demande d admission et le faire parvenir au plus vite et au plus tard avant le 31 janvier. Les candidats seront informés de la décision les concernant le plus rapidement possible. Les candidats acceptés définitivement recevront une lettre d admission. Les formulaires de demande d admission peuvent être obtenus auprès du secrétariat ou téléchargés à partir du site web. 8. ACCRÉDITATION Le CIPS est accrédité au niveau international par l Instance Néerlandaise Flamande d Accréditation ( 9. DROITS D INSCRIPTION ET BOURSES Les droits d inscription pour le Master s élèvent à Euros (2004). Le montant peut varier légèrement d année en année. Veuillez consulter le tableau p. 38. Des bourses peuvent être obtenues à travers l IMT pour des étudiants venant des pays en voie de développement ou de l Union Européenne. LE RIAC: RESEAU INTERNATIONAL DES ANCIENS DU CIPS Le reseau international des anciens du CIPS (RIAC) maintient les contacts entre l IMT et les anciens participants ainsi qu entre les anciens participants eux-mêmes. Nous publions deux lettres par an et offrons un accès à certains livres. Les enseignants sont disponibles pour des conseils scientifiques. Nous soutenons également les réunions des réseaux locaux. FR
