WHEREAS a lower speed limit will reduce the risk of accidents and ensure safety for residents of the area; therefore BE IT RESOLVED that Municipal Council hereby supports the request of residents for a reduction of the speed limit on Gendron Road; and hereby requests that bilingual signs be installed by the UCPR in order to indicate the new speed limit, as requested. BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves to absorb the fees related to the installation of the 200mmø watermain pipe, as recommended by the Planning and Construction Department and Infrastructure and Engineering Department. 9 OF THE CITY OF/ DE LA CITÉ DE RESOLUTION DATE :Fév./Feb. 17, 2015 Item # : 12.2 Resolution # : Aménagement du territoire / Planning Department Directeur/Director : Représentant/Representative : Michael Michaud Michel Levert Appuyé de / Seconded by Objet / Subject : Demande d amendement à l entente de lotissement Développement JML, partie des lots 16 et 17, concession 9, Hammond / Application to amend the Subdivision Agreement JML Development, Part of Lots 16 and 17, Concession 9 - Hammond QUE le développement JML souhaite amender son entente de lotissement afin de réduire la zone protégée de chaque côté du drain Hammond ainsi que d enlever le besoin d installer une clôture le long du drain; et QUE les recommandations suivantes ont été présentées au comité d aménagement le 4 février 2015 : 1- Réduction de la zone protégée de 15 mètres à 10 mètres sur le côté sud avec un droit de passage et réduction de la zone protégée de 15 mètres à 8 mètres sur le côté nord, avec une petite partie à 10 mètres. 2- Entente de plantation avec la CNS. 3- Retrait de l exigence d installer une clôture. 4- Préparation d un plan d arpentage pour le droit de passage. 5- Le propriétaire est responsable d enregistrer le droit de passage. THAT JML Development wishes to amend his Subdivision Agreement in order to reduce the no-touch zone of each side of the Hammond Drain and to remove the need to install a fence along the drain; and THAT the following recommendations were presented to the Planning Committee on February 4 th, 2015: 1- Reduction of the no-touch zone from 15 metres to 10 metres on the south side with an easement and reduction of the no-touch zone from 15 metres to 8 metres on the north side, except for a small portion that will be 10 metres. 2- Planting Agreement with SNC. 3- Removal of fencing requirements. 4- Preparation of survey plan for easement purposes. 5- Owner responsible to register easement.

10 QU IL SOIT RÉSOLU que le Comité d aménagement recommande au conseil municipal d adopter les modifications 1, 4 et 5, d enlever les modifications 2 et 3 et d ajouter la condition que la clôture de 1,2 mètres doit être installée à la nouvelle ligne de la zone protégée, pour l entente de lotissement de Développement JML (filière D-12-AAA). BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Committee recommends to Council the adoption of modifications 1, 4 and 5, the removal of modifications 2 and 3 and the addition of the condition to install a 1.2 metre high fence at the new no-touch zone setback, for the Subdivision Agreement of JML Development (D- 12-AAA). QU IL SOIT AUSSI RÉSOLU QUE le conseil autorise la greffière à obtenir les services d urbanismes externes et des services juridiques pour défendre la position du conseil à la Commission des affaires municipales de l'ontario. BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council continues to support its decision to rezone 2925 Joanisse Road to permit a Kennel.
