1 SCHOOL TRIPS 2016 VOYAGES SCOLAIRES S6 Cette brochure contient les informations sur les voyages scolaires pour les élèves de 6e année. Cette année les voyages scolaires se dérouleront entre samedi 23/04/16 et dimanche 01/05/16. Les formulaires (des choix, de groupe ) doivent être remplis et retournés à C. DE KEYSER (dans la boîte à C303) pour le vendredi 23/10/15 (13h) au plus tard. Les formulaires dûment remplis doivent être signés par les élèves et leurs parents avant d être déposés. Tous les élèves qui ne participent pas à un voyage à l étranger seront automatiquement intégrés dans le groupe voyages locaux. Si cela est votre premier choix, ne faites pas d autres choix. Choisissez minimum 4 voyages. Classez-les par ordre de préférence (notez : ) ou cochez-les ( ) si l ordre vous est égal. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour satisfaire vos vœux, mais il faut savoir que cela ne sera pas possible dans tous les cas et que rien n est garanti. Il est possible de prendre part à un voyage avec vos amis (max 4 élèves dans un groupe). Dans ce cas chaque groupe doit remplir UN formulaire de groupe avec les choix du groupe et toutes les signatures ainsi que les formulaires de choix individuels. This brochure contains the information about the school trips for 6th year pupils. This year the schooltrips are taking place between Saturday 23/04/16 and Sunday 01/05/16. The sheets (Choices Form, Group Form) must be completed and handed in to C. DE KEYSER via the box at C303 by Friday 23/10/15 (1pm). Pupils and parents must sign the completed forms before returning them. All pupils who do not go abroad on a trip will automatically be assigned to the programme of local trips. If this is your first preference, mark only this choice. Choose at least 4 trips you would like to go on. Rank them (1, 2, 3, 4) in order of preference, or use a tick ( ) if you do not have a preference. Every effort will be made to give a maximum of pupils their first or second choice, but you must understand that this is not possible for everyone, and that no guarantees can be given. It is possible to go with your friends (max group size is 4). In that case the members of the group must complete ONE group form with the choices and everyone s signatures as well as the individual choices forms. 2 PAIEMENT: Le prix maximum d un voyage est 850. A l inscription un acompte de 300 (sauf local trip 150) devra être versé sur le compte voyages scolaires avant 23/10/15. Dans le cas contraire, l inscription de l élève ne pourra être confirmée. En cas de nonpaiement le nom de l élève apparaîtra dans la liste de voyage local trip. La répartition definitive des élèves pour les voyages sera annoncée pour le 27/11/15 (dans bâtiment C 1 étage) et le paiement du coût total (reste) du voyage devra être fait pour le 11/12/15 dernier délai. Il est possible de demander une aide financière à l école si vous avez des difficultés dans le paiement du voyage. PAYMENT: The maximum price of a trip is 850. At the inscription the sum of 300 (except for the local trip 150) must be paid into the schooltrips account before 23/10/15. Otherwise the pupil s place on the trip will not be confirmed, since bookings have to be made soon afterwards. In the case of non-payment the pupil s name will appear in the Local Trip list. The definitive distribution of pupils among the trips will be announced on 27/11/15 (C building first floor) and the payment of the total cost (balance) for that trip must be made by 11/12/15 at the very latest. In case of difficulty in meeting the costs of the trip, it is possible to approach the school for financial assistance. This is a camping-style trip in a polar climate staying in small, self catering, shared wooden cabins on camping mattresses or bunks or double beds. Arrive EEB3 around 15:30hrs You are required to have polar ski wear for this trip to protect you against polar winds and potential snow. -ski pants and jacket, waterproof head wear -wind proof and rainproof jacket -mid layers and thermal base layer -walking boots & ski socks & gloves & neck liner -skin moisturiser -swimwear & suncream& sunglasses/eyemask Temperatures can range from -8 to 20 degrees and wind chill factor can be as low as -25C Climate & Clothing Advisory You must have base thermals, including socks, gloves, hat, mid- technical layers, external wind and waterproof clothing eg, ski wear. Thin, Belgian waterproofs are not enough. The wind chill factor is critical. Please factor this additional cost in when choosing the trip. Your clothing will be checked by staff before departure (non-negotiable). You will be loaned a survival bag in the event of a bus breakdown.

You will learn how to mix in a purpose-built pro recording studio. Le voyage est organisé par l'agence Léonard. 850 PROGRAMME : Jour 1 : départ de l aéroport de Bruxelles National. Vol en direction de Porto selon disponibilité et horaires. Arrivée à Porto en journée. Transfert de l aéroport vers le centre ville (si l horaire le permet). Temps libre sur place pour vous familiariser avec la ville. 7 Sifnos Diving Trip An authentic cyclade island in spring 850 Min/Max pupils 30/42 Sifnos lies in between Serifos, Kimolos and Paros and is 78 nautical miles from Piraes, Athens. It has an area of 74km² and a shoreline of 70 km with a population of 2000.The island is reached through the ferries and there are also sailings to other islands in the Cyclades. Sifnos has a lot things to offer, even for the most demanding visitor. The temperature of the water is between 15 and 17. 8 Sports and culture Malta 24-30/04/ days 850 euro Maximum students 30 Teachers: Annette Holemans - Tom Speleman DAY 1: Sunday 24/04 19u50 flight to Valetta capital of Malta 22u35: Arrival in Valetta Bus drive to Hotel -Dinner and overnight DAY 2: Monday 25/04 Visit Valletta accompanied by a licensed English speaking guide. Upper Barracca Gardens offers breathtaking views of the Grand Harbour. Movie Malta 5D is the new generation attraction which allows you to feel the real emotion of the movie St John s Co-Cathedral the grand Master s Some time for lunch and at leisure. In the afternoon the group will drive to the Three Cities three harbour towns older than Valletta and first residence for the Knights of St John. Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa panoramic tour by coach of the three cities. Stop in Senglea to visit the Vedette behind the Church of St Philip. Pass by Cospicua and stop at Vittoriosa. Here one walks through the narrow streets to admire the architecture of the old buildings. DAY 3: Tuesday 26/04 Full day Cycling & Swimming The group will board the mountain bikes and tours through the country sides not normally seen by the tourist. They will pass by Mtahleb, Bahrija, Mgarr and finish at Golden Bay. The group will be accompanied by two group leaders, a first aid person travelling in a jeep and three back up bikes available. Afternoon at leasure in Golden Sands where the group can do some water sports or swimming. 19 u Boat Party Accompanied by a local top DJ whose music will accompany us while the night gradually takes over from the day. As the evening progresses so do the specially selected tunes, which will invariably increase in energy level to get everyone on board partying. We drop anchor at the Blue Lagoon, where we lower the ladders for easy access into the sea for 2 hours, then we make our way back to the picturesque Marsamxetto port in Sliema DAY 4 Wednesday 27/04 full day tour Gozo Ferry crossing to the island of Gozo. The group will board coach and drive towards Qala. Stop at Belveder and proceed to Qala. From here the group will proceed on foot. They will take the road on the right side of the church, walking uphill passing by the windmill. The group will be picked up by coach from San Blass road in Nadur. From here they will drive to Dwejra. The three natural wonders of the Maltese Islands: The Azure Window, Fungus Rock and the Inland Sea. Board boat for a short trip. Some time at leisure for packet lunch. Drive to Victoria to visit the citadel. In the afternoon the group will visit Xlendi. DAY 5 Thursday 28/04 Full day to Temples of Hagar Qim, Blue Grotto Limestone Heritage & Mdina departure and board coach accompanied by an English speaking guide for full day tour. Drive to Wied Iz-Zurrieq where the Blue Grotto is lying between the cliffs. ( boat trip optional). Proceed to visit the temples of Hagar Qim. This temple is unique among other Maltese temples due to the limestone used throughout its construction. The group will proceed to Ghar Lapsi. Some time at leisure for packet lunch. In the afternoon the coach will proceed to Siggiewi to visit the Limestone Heritage. From here the group will proceed towards Mdina. Walk through the medieval town and stop at the bastions to admire the magnificent views. Day 6 Friday 29/04 Comino Cruise and snorkling Enjoy the facilities of the vessel during your full day in the Blue Lagoon. This Cruise is specially designed to give the maximum time in Comino to enable you to make the most of the unforgettable crystal clear waters of the magical Blue Lagoon. An ideal day out. We cruise past Sliema, St. Julians, the Casino, St.Andrews, Salina Bay, St. Paul's Bay and the island where St. Paul was shipwrecked in 60 A.D., Mellieħa Bay and Comino's famous Blue Lagoon. The rest of the day is spent at one's own leisure sun bathing or swimming off the boat, snorkling or going ashore to the small white sandy beach. Day 7 Saturday 30/04 Free morning and flight to Brussels in the afternoon. Plusieurs jours d apprentissage en pente école seront nécessaires avant d atteindre l objectif principal : le «grand vol». D autres activités sont proposées : la randonnée, le canyon et du VTT. A trip that combines amazing landscapes, traditional culture, and sport-tourism in the most interesting and unknown country in Europe: ALBANIA DAY 1 23/04: Morning: Arrival to TIRANA and visit of the Capital. Afternoon: drive to KRJUA: visit of the interesting sites in the city. Dinner & night Tirana environment. DAY 2 24/04: Morning: transfer to DURRES with visit of the Archeological site. Continuation to APOLLONIA. Afternoon: After lunch: transfer to VLORA. Dinner & night Vlora. This means that we will leave school everyday at 8h30 and we will be back before 16h15 (Wednesday before 12h50) so pupils can take the school buses home.
