Richard Wallace, appuyé par Mme Kay Kerman et résolu que le CCUDD recommande au Conseil Municipal d accorder cette dérogation mineure afin de permettre de régulariser la marge avant du bâtiment principale dont la véranda (verrière) est située à une distance de 1,43 mètres de la limite de propriété au lieu de 4,5 mètres, et ce, sur le lot au cadastre du Québec, également connu comme le 10, chemin McCarthy Lot au cadastre du Québec 30, chemin Wright connu comme le lot au cadastre du Québec, également connu comme le 30, chemin Wright, a présenté à la Municipalité de Chelsea une demande de dérogation mineure afin de régulariser la marge arrière d un abri d auto construit à une distance de 2,0 mètres de la limite de propriété au lieu de 4,5 mètres ainsi que de régulariser la hauteur de cet abri d auto qui est de 6,85 mètres au lieu de 6,5 mètres; ÉTANT DONNÉ que cet abri d auto sert d entreposage pour un motorisé; Lot of the Quebec cadastre 10 McCarthy Road of the Quebec cadastre, property also known as 10 McCarthy Road, has presented to the Municipality of Chelsea a request for a minor exemption in order to regularize the setback of the main building where as a (canopy) veranda is located at a distance of 1.43 metres from the property line instead of 4.5 metres; IT IS THEREFORE PROPOSED by Mr. Richard Wallace, seconded by Ms. Kay Kerman and resolved that the PSDAC recommends to the Municipal Council to grant this minor exemption requests in to regularize the setback of the main building where as a (canopy) veranda is located at a distance of 1.43 metres from the property line instead of 4.5 metres, and this, in favour of the Lot of the Quebec cadastre, property also known as 10 McCarthy Road Lot of the Quebec cadastre 30 Wright Road of the Quebec cadastre, property also known as 30 Wright Road, has presented to the Municipality of Chelsea a request for a minor exemption in order to regularize the site of a car shelter built at a distance of 2.0 metres from the property line instead of 4.5 metres as well as to regularize the height of this car shelter measuring 6.85 metres instead of 6.5 metres; WHEREAS this car shelter serves as storage for a RV; - 2 -

Benoit Delage, appuyé par M. Sylvain Côté et résolu que les membres du CCUDD recommande au Conseil municipale d accorder cette demande d approbation d un plan d implantation et d intégration architecturale afin de permettre l installation d une enseigne commerciale détachée du bâtiment de 1,21 m x 1,47 m pour une superficie totale de 1,76 mètres carrés annonçant le restaurant «Tante Carole» qui sera composée de bois contre-plaqué couverte d aluminium avec le logo et installée sur le poteau en bois existant utilisé par l ancien restaurant tout en possédant un éclairage vers le bas, et ce, sur le lot au cadastre du Québec, propriété également connu comme le 168, chemin Old Chelsea. Que l on recommande au demandeur de ne pas poursuivre avec cette demande Requête d un membre du conseil d inclure des critères relatifs aux couleurs au règlement relatif aux PIIA Le Service de l urbanisme et du développement durable présente au CCUDD une proposition d'un membre du conseil municipal concernant la possibilité d ajouter au règlement n relatif au Plan d implantation et d intégration architecturale (PIIA) une disposition régissant la couleur employée sur l affichage du Centre-village. À l unanimité, les membres du CCUDD ont exprimé leur opposition à cette idée, car ils estiment que la couleur d'une affiche correspond généralement à la marque du commerce et qu aussi une telle caractéristique est si subjective que le Conseil ne serait pas en mesure d évaluer ni de justifier l approbation ou le rejet d une couleur proposée. De plus, le règlement en vigueur contient déjà des dispositions pour contrôler l'emplacement, les matériaux, la taille et l'apparence des enseignes afin de préserver le caractère villageois du Centre-village. already exists zones where this type of activity is allowed and that it would be difficult to justify a zoning amendment in the context of this request. Unanimously, the PSDAC members expressed opposition to the idea, as they believe that the color of any display is typically the mark of the trade and that as such a characteristic is so subjective that Council wouldn t be able to assess or justify the approval or rejection of a proposed color. In addition, the By-law in force already contains provisions to control the location, materials, size and appearance of displays in a way as to preserve the rural character of the Centre-Village LEVÉE DE LA RÉUNION 11.0 ADJOURNMENT IL EST PROPOSÉ par M.
