1 FRENCH 3 SUMMER ASSIGNMENT (cover and p.1) Students are required to read the short story Les Trois Bagues. Before reading the story underline all of the verbs that are in the passé composé. REMEMBER that you will underline the form of avoir or être and the past participle.(example est allé or a trouvé.) You will then circle all verbs that are in the imparfait. (Students have a copy of the story) After you have read the story you will complete the attached worksheets. FIND THE FRENCH exercise Go through the story and find the French for the sentences in English that appear on the worksheet. Then respond to the questions on the worksheets in complete sentences in FRENCH. COMPLÉTEZ LES PHRASES exercise Complete the sentences with the correct word from the story. Students are required to review the attached verb packet. The packet includes helpful information about le passé composé and l imparfait. Also, there is a present tense review sheet to complete. All answers are to be in complete sentences, either typed or neatly written. Be sure to check grammar and spelling. This should be your best effort. This work will be handed in on the first day of class in September, NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXCUSES. This assignment will count as a quiz grade.
