Questions découlant du procèsverbal du 12 mai, Succursale St Albert : Pour faciliter les procédures financières, nous appuyons la résolution suivante : Résolution B : Le Conseil propose que le montant total de la réserve de St Albert soit retenu au complet pour effectuer les rénovations de la succursale de St Albert (au Centre communautaire) Proposée par : Joanne Côté-Pilon Appuyée par : Lucie Piché 6. Questions related to minutes of May 12 th, St Albert Branch : To facilitate the transfer of funding for the renovations to the library area in the St Albert Community Centre, we support the following motion: Motion B : The Library Board proposes that the total amount in the St Albert Reserve Fund be made available to make the required renovations to the St Albert Community Centre to accommodate the St Albert Branch library. Affaires nouvelles Heures d ouverture de la succursale St Albert : A cause des nombreux changements qu apportera la relocalisation de la succursale de St-Albert, il serait préférable d attendre avant d apporter des modifications aux heures d ouvertures. Le conseil s informera également au sujet des caméras de surveillance (entrée/sortie) afin d assurer la sécurité des employés qui travailleront jusqu à 20 heures, surtout les soirs d hiver. 11. Financial report That the financial reports dated May 31, 2015 be adopted as is. Proposed by : France Séguin Seconded by : Suzanne Leblanc 10. New Business 10.1: Opening hours at the St Albert branch: Due to the numerous changes at the St Albert Branch, we will retain the same opening hours once the branch is relocated to the St Albert Community Centre. We will revisit the subject in late 2015 to reevaluate if changes need to be made. The CEO will investigate the installation of a security cameras in or near the new location for the St Albert Branch to ensure the security of staff that are working alone until 8pm especially in the dark winter hours 11. 4 Bibliothèque Publique de la Municipalité de La Nation The Nation Municipality Public Library Rapport de la directrice générale Chief Executive Officer Report Mai / May 2015 Réalisations / Highlights & Accomplishments Vente de livres : Nous avons participé au Ottawa Book Fair vente de livres organisé par les conseils scolaires d Ottawa le mercredi le 13 mai 2015 au Nepean Sportsplex. Il y avait une dizaine de distributeurs de livres soit des distributeurs locaux et des distributeurs de la région de Toronto /// Book fair : We participated in the Ottawa Book Fair which is organized by the Ottawa School Boards on Wednesday May 13th, 2015 at the Nepean Sportsplex. There was various local and Toronto area book distributors. Zinio: Grace à l octroi du «Fonds ontarien de renforcement des capacités des bibliothèques» reçu pour du gouvernement de l Ontario dont le but est de nous aider à améliorer la technologie et l informatique dans nos bibliothèques. Nous aurons un nouveau service disponible sur notre page web très bientôt. Ce service du nom de «Zinio» permettra à nos clients de lire 50 revues avec un an de numéros antérieurs de «façon numérique». De ces cinquante (50) titres, il y a onze (11) titres francophones. Ce nouveau service devra être réévalué en décembre 2015 pour voir les statistiques d utilisation que nous allons recevoir sur une base mensuelle de la compagnie qui vend le produit. Le prix est pro rata pour les sept (7) mois de 2015 soit juin à décembre 2015 puisque l abonnement est sur une base annuel. Ceci est un projet pilot de sept (7) mois pour voir l utilisation que nos clients en feront pour ensuite faire une décision sur un abonnement annuel en 2016 /// Zinio : Thanks to the grant «Ontario Libraries Capacity Fund Information Technology and Service Capacity» we received for from the Ontario Government to improve our current information technology needs, we will shortly

5 have available on our webpage a new service called «Zinio». This service will allow our clients to read 50 different magazines online with one (1) year of back issues for these 50 magazines. Of the 50 magazines, 11 of these are french. This new service will need to be re-evaluated at the end of the trial period in Decembre We will be receiving monthly statistics from the company which sells this service to help us evaluate the usage. This trial is usually an annual subscription but is prorated since we will only be subscribing for half the year. This will allow us to see what kind of usage our clients make of this new service so we can decide if we wish to continue with an annual subscription for Octrois Trillium : Nous avons participé à la session d information pour les nouveaux critères pour l application pour les octrois Trillium mardi le 2 juin à Ottawa /// Trillum Grants : We attended the information session which describes the new application process for Trillium Grants on Tuesday June 2 nd, 2015 in Ottawa. Succursale St Albert : Jeudi le 28 mai 2015 nous avons déménagé les étagères que nous avons entreposées depuis juin 2014 au garage de St Bernardin à la salle communautaire dans le futur emplacement de la succursale de St Albert. Pendant le mois de juin, différents membres du Club Optimiste de St Albert procèderons à faire l assemblage des étagères pour qu il soit prêt à recevoir la collection de livres à la fin de juin. Nous avons eu environ huit volontaires pour décharger le camion à St Albert. Nos remerciements à Sylvain Lalonde, gérant de la Salle de St Bernardin pour son aide pour le chargement des étagères à St Bernardin le jeudi matin. Nos remerciements aussi Carol Ann Scott pour le don de 22 chaises qui pourront remplacer les chaises que nous avons présentement dans la bibliothèque à St Albert une fois que l on sera dans le nouvel emplacement /// St Albert Branch : On Thursday May 28th, 2015, we moved the shelving that we had in storage at the garage in St Bernardin to the new location of the St Albert Branch in the Community Centre on the lower level. During the month of June, various members of the Optimist Club of St

6 Albert will be putting the shelving together so they will be ready to receive the St Albert Branch book collection at the end of June. We had volunteers to help unload the shelving in St Albert. Our sincere thanks to Sylvain Lalonde, manager of the St Bernardin Community Centre for his help with the loading of the shelving in St Bernardin. Our thanks to Carol Ann Scott for her donation of 22 chairs that we also moved from St Bernardin to the new location for usage at the St Albert Branch. Élagage à St Isidore : Nous continuons de faire l élagage à St Isidore /// Weeding in St Isidore : We are continuing to do the weeding at the St Isidore Branch. Technologie : Nous avons reçu la correspondance du Ministère de la culture, tourisme et sport concernant la deuxième partie des octrois du «Fonds ontarien de renforcement des capacités des bibliothèques Nous recevrons $4, en octroi qui sera diviser parmi les trois (3) succursales pour continuer à améliorer nos ressources technologiques pendant la période du 1 décembre 2015 au 29 avril Nous sommes présentement à compléter les documents qui sont requis pour recevoir cet octroi /// Technology : We received notice from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport that we need to complete the required paperwork to obtain the second part of the «Ontario Libraries Capacity Fund Information Technology and Service Capacity». We will receive $4, for the period December 1, 2015 to April 29, This amount will be divided between the three (3) branches to continue to improve our technology. Programme d été : La planification pour le programme d été continue. Le programme de St Albert sera tout probablement présenté dans la salle en haut au Centre communautaire vu le

7 déménagement et travail de réaménagement. Nous sommes présentement à rencontrer des étudiantes pour le poste d animatrice du programme d été à la succursale de St Isidore et au camp d été à l aréna. L étudiante pourra aussi nous aider dans le travail de déménagement de la succursale de St Albert /// Summer program : The planning for the summer program continues. The program in St Albert will probably be presented in the hall on the first level as the moving and renovation work will be ongoing when the program is scheduled to start. We are presently meeting summer students to fill the position of Summer Youth Program Coordinator for the St Isidore Branch program and the presentation of the program at the summer camp at the arena in St Isidore. The student selected will hopefully also be able to help with the various moving activity at the St Albert Branch.
