2 Literacy: What I m learning in Kindergarten: November Letter Names & Sounds Sight Words French: Ll, Pp, Mm and Rr English: Hh, Kk, Ll, Vv, Ww, Yy, Xx French : je mange, je bois, j aime, en bas, en haut, oui, non, ici, English: no, it, this, go, up, down, who, has Here s a game you can play with your child: Make flash cards with all the letters and sight words for November. Review these cards together every day as a part of homework time. Have your child name & describe each 3D shape. Cube Cone Cylinder Sphere Rectangular prism Here s a game you can play with your child: Look around your home and neighborhood with your child find to find 3D shapes in the environment. Put the items you can collect in a box/bag and review them after dinner each night. The Sight Word are je mange (I eat), je bois (I drink), and j aime (I like/ I love) Math : We are working on 2-D Shapes. Monday LA: Practice finding capital letters. Color only capital L. Write it. Circle the pictures with the /l/. Math: Color all the rectangles red. Color all the triangles green. Draw rectangles and circles. Reading: Point and read the /l/ syllables on your syllables chart. Point and count forward numbers by 1s and by 10s in French and then read or have an adult read to you your independent reading book in English. Tuesday LA: Say the words. Circle the words with 4 letters Math: Count and color the triangles. Draw a group of triangles that is 1 less. Write how many you drew. Draw hexagons and circles. Count and color the pears. Draw a group of pears that is 1 less. Write how many you drew. Reading: Point and read the /l/ syllables on your syllables chart. Point and count forward numbers by 1s and by 10s in French and then read or have an adult read to you your independent reading book in English. Wednesday LA Math each picture with its name. Read, and color the sight words "je mange" red, "je bois" yellow, and "j aime" blue. Math: Draw a line from the shape to its matching object. Reading: Point and read the /l/ syllables on your syllables chart. Point and count forward numbers by 1s and by 10s in French and then read or have an adult read to you your independent reading book in English. Thursday LA: Read and copy the sight word sentence. Draw a picture to illustrate the sentence (the baby is on the bed.). Math: Color only the shapes found on the pizza. Count the number of sides and write it inside the shape. Reading: Point and read the /l/ syllables on your syllables chart. Point and count forward numbers by 1s and by 10s in French and then read or have an adult read to you your independent reading book in English. Note: I have stapled in the yellow folder a syllables chart. Please help your child complete and read it every Monday with the letter of the week starting Monday November2 nd. 12 Colorie uniquement les formes qui sont dans la pizza. Compte le nombre de côtés et écris le dans la figure.
