Actualité du CEIPI à l international CEIPI News International Etude du CEIPI pour le Parlement Européen CEIPI Study for the European Parliament Le CEIPI a conduit à la demande du Parlement Européen une étude synthétique visant à retracer le rôle du Parlement dans l'élaboration de la législation communautaire en matière de propriété intellectuelle. Cette note, rédigée par Christophe Geiger, Maître de conférences et Directeur Général du CEIPI et Emmanuel Py, Docteur en droit et chercheur au CEIPI, sera remise aux députés européens de la nouvelle législature lors de leur prise de fonction et a vocation à éclairer les travaux à venir du Parlement Européen en matière de perfectionnement de l'acquis communautaire. Vous pouvez télécharger ci-dessous cette étude en texte intégral At the request of the European Parliament, CEIPI has done a synthetic study recalling the role of the Parliament in developing intellectual property community legislation. This note, written by Christophe Geiger, Associate Professor and General Director of CEIPI and Emmanuel Py, Phd in Law and researcher at CEIPI, will be handed to the European Deputies of the new legislature and is meant to clarify the upcoming work of the European Parliament regarding the improvement of community asset. 3 Le CEIPI à l Université de Skopje en Madédoine CEIPI at the University of Skopje, Macedonia Onze Facultés de droit d Europe de l Est se sont réunies pour proposer une formation d une année débouchant sur un diplôme de Master en Droit Européen des Affaires. Le CEIPI participe à ce programme et sera présent à l Université de Skopje en Macédoine. Stéphanie Carre, Maître de conférences au CEIPI et à l Université de Strasbourg, donnera un cours sur le Droit d auteur, tandis que Yann Basire, Assistant chercheur au CEIPI fera une intervention sur la Marque Communautaire et les Dessins et Modèles Communautaires. The consortium of eleven Law Faculties from South East Europe is offering a 1-year master programme leading to a Master s degree in EU Business Law. Lectures will be given by Regional and International Staff. CEIPI will participate to this programme at the University of Skopje, Macedonia. Stéphanie Carre, Associate Professor at the CEIPI and at the University of Strasbourg will give a lecture in the field of Copyright and Yann Basire, Research Assistant at the CEIPI will give a lecture in the field of Community Trademarks and Community Designs. Deux étudiants du CEIPI présentent leurs travaux de recherche à l OHMI Two CEIPI students present their works at the OHIM Dans le cadre de l'université «Network Research Session» organisé par l'ohmi le 29 et 30 avril 2009, deux étudiants du CEIPI se sont rendus à Alicante aux sièges de l'ohmi afin de présenter leurs travaux de recherche. M. Rémi Amsili a présenté son travail intitulé "The notion of disclosure pursuant to article 7 and 11(2) of the Community design regulation: requirements and mean of proof". Quant à Mlle Cécile Giacometti, elle a étudié la question: "Are the test for the validity and the infringement of a community design "the obverse and reverse of the same coin?". Within the framework of the University Network Research, two CEIPI students went to Alicante, headquarter of the OHIM to present their researches. M. Mlle Caroline RODA, titulaire d un Master 2 à finalité Recherche du CEIPI en 2007, est recrutée au CEIPI au poste d assistant chercheur. We are very pleased to inform you that Emmanuel PY, a research assistant at CEIPI, has been newly qualified for application at the position of associate professor. Miss Caroline RODA, holder of a PhD in Intellectual Property from CEIPI since 2007 has been newly recruited as a research assistant.
