1 CONTEXTE DU STAGE : SUJET DE STAGE DE MASTER 2 (BAC +5) 6 MOIS ETUDE SUR LA ROBUSTESSE DE LOIS DE COMMANDE FACE AUX PERTURBATIONS ELECTROMAGNETIQUES Les quatre business units de Faurecia, à savoir automotive seating, interior systems, emissions control technology et automotive exteriors, ont créé en partenariat avec l Esigelec et Centrale Supélec une chaire de recherche intitulée «Automotive Mechatronics». L objectif de cette chaire est d élaborer des outils et méthodes permettant de mieux comprendre et concevoir les systèmes mécatroniques. Le développement de lois de commande avancées fait partie de ces activités. En particulier, la robustesse des lois de commande face aux perturbations électromagnétiques est un verrou à lever. Une piste à étudier est l élaboration de solutions algorithmiques permettant de compenser ou d éliminer l effet de perturbations électromagnétiques sur les performances de lois de commande (stabilité ), sans avoir recours à des circuits électroniques pour filtrer les perturbations. L avantage semble double : tout d abord, cette solution serait plus économique et plus facilement ajustable ; deuxièmement, la nature transversale du contrôle/commande devrait permettre la portabilité des solutions proposées d un système à un autre, par exemple du traitement acoustique à l ajustement de sièges. C est dans ce contexte qu est proposé ce stage qui porte sur l étude de la robustesse de lois de commande vis à vis de perturbations électromagnétiques. Le stage se déroulera à l IRSEEM (Institut de Recherche en Systèmes Electroniques EMbarqués) en interaction avec les équipes de Faurecia et de centrale Supélec. L étudiant sera accueilli au sein du pôle Automatique & Systèmes, lequel mène des travaux sur la commande tolérante aux fautes des systèmes embarqués. L étudiant travaillera également avec le pôle Electronique & Systèmes, dont l essentiel des activités porte sur l électromagnétisme et la Compatibilité ElectroMagnétique (CEM). DESCRIPTION DU STAGE : Les différents bus et éléments de puissance (batteries, moteurs électriques, convertisseurs ) présents dans les véhicules, et plus particulièrement les véhicules électriques et hybrides, ont pour conséquence de générer des émissions électromagnétiques. Ces émissions peuvent perturber les signaux délivrés par des capteurs, affectant par conséquent les performances du contrôle/commande. Pour pallier ce problème, une solution à étudier serait d utiliser des algorithmes de contrôle/commande ayant une robustesse accrue vis à vis de perturbations électromagnétiques. L objectif de ce stage est d investiguer les approches permettant de lever par des solutions algorithmiques le verrou scientifique qu est la robustesse des lois de commande vis à vis de perturbations électromagnétiques. Il est entre autres envisagé d investiguer deux axes complémentaires : d un côté, la caractérisation de perturbations électromagnétiques et de leur impact sur les signaux transitant du contrôleur vers les actionneurs et des capteurs vers le contrôleur ; de l autre côté, l élaboration d un contrôle intrinsèquement robuste aux pertes d informations engendrées par des perturbations. Le réseau supportant l échange de données entre le contrôleur et l ensemble système/capteurs/actionneurs pourra être de type CAN. V. SIRCOULOMB 1 02/12/2015

2 Les quatre phases de cette étude sont : 1. Etude bibliographique (état de l art) des approches de commande robuste vis à vis de perturbations électromagnétiques : T mois 2. Caractérisation des perturbations électromagnétiques et de leurs effets sur les trames transportant les informations : T mois 3. Simulation et analyse des commandes identifiées dans la littérature en présence de perturbations électromagnétiques : T mois 4. Proposition d'une piste de loi de commande robuste à approfondir puis à appliquer à des cas concrets rencontrés par FAURECIA : T mois Le stagiaire pourra s appuyer sur les travaux menés lors de la thèse de Yi Ming ZHANG, laquelle a fait l objet de 6 conférences internationales ainsi que 2 revues internationales avec comité de lecture (cf. références bibliographiques). 4 OBJECT FOR INTERSHIP MASTER 2 (BAC +5) 6 MONTHS CONTEXT OF THE INTERNSHIP: STUDY OF THE ROBUSTNESS OF CONTROL LAWS AGAINST ELECTROMAGNETIC DISTURBANCES The four business units of Faurecia, automotive seating, interior systems, emissions control technology and automotive exteriors, have created in partnership with Esigelec and Centrale Supélec a chair of research in Automotive Mechatronics. The objective of this chair is to offer tools and methods to better understand and design mechatronic systems. The development of advanced control laws is part of this activity. In particular, the robustness of control laws against electromagnetic disturbances is a challenge to address. A solution to study is to develop algorithmic solutions to eliminate or compensate for the effect of such disturbances on the control performance (stability ) without needing to use electronic circuits to filter the disturbances. The advantage seems to be double: first, it would be more economic and adjustable. Second, the transversal nature of control should allow the portability of the solution from a system to another, from example acoustic treatment or seat adjustments. It is in this framework that is proposed this internship which concerns the study the control law robustness against electromagnetic disturbances. The internship will take place in the IRSEEM (Research institute in Embedded Electronic Systems) in interaction with the teams of Faurecia and Centrale Supélec. The student will be welcomed within the Automatic control and Systems research group of IRSEEM which leads research work on fault tolerant control of embedded systems. The student will also work with the Electronic and Systems research group which develops an important activity on ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetism. DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNSHIP: The various bus and power devices (battery, electric motors, inverters...) present in vehicles, particularly (hybrid) electric vehicles, generates electromagnetic emissions. These emissions can disturb the signals emitted by sensors, thus affecting the control performance of systems. To overcome this problem, a solution would be to increase the robustness of control laws against electromagnetic disturbances. The aim of this internship is to investigate approaches to face with software solutions the problem of control law robustness with respect to electromagnetic disturbances. Two complementary approaches are foreseen: on one hand, the characterization of electromagnetic disturbances and their impact on the signals going from the controller to actuators and from sensors to the controller; on the other hand, the development of a control intrinsically robust to information losses caused by the disturbances. The network supporting data exchanges between the controller and the group system/actuators/sensors could be a CAN bus. The 4 stages of this study are: 1. Proposition of an idea of robust control law to study in greater depth and to apply to concrete cases encountered by FAURECIA: T months The intern will be able to use the work conducted during the thesis of Yi Ming ZHANG which was the subject of six international conferences and 2 international journals with reading committee (cf. bibliographical references).
