Il se fait principalement dans le cadre de Masters 1 et 2. Ces enseignements concernent plus précisément les matières suivantes : - Histoire et géopolitique de la Francophonie - Institutions et coopérations de la Francophonie - la Francophonie dans les régions du monde Composante ou UFR : Institut pour l Étude de la Francophonie et de la Mondialisation (Service général d enseignement et de recherche de l Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3). l Profil recherche L étude de la Francophonie nécessite une approche multidisciplinaire et transversale où la recherche historique, aux côtés de la science politique, occupe une place importante pour comprendre l aventure francophone multilatérale en particulier. Il s agit de montrer comment la Francophonie est passée de deux étapes liées à la colonisation et à la décolonisation, à une troisième francophonie tournée vers l avenir et ancrée sur des valeurs, reconnues désormais au sein d une institution politiquement organisée. Cette équipe est innovante et pionnière, tant par l objet de sa recherche (la Francophonie et la Mondialisation) que par sa pluridisciplinarité. En effet, elle accueille des chercheurs de plusieurs domaines de sciences humaines et sociales et a pour objectif de conceptualiser la problématique, difficile car innovante, de la Francophonie. L objet de la recherche est la Francophonie elle-même. Ancrée sur la solidarité et le dialogue, la réalité francophone s inscrit dans une problématique d identités et d appartenances partagées, de diversité culturelle et linguistique et de dialogue interculturel. Dans le contexte de la mondialisation culturelle, l équipe travaille donc sur des problématiques complexes relatives à l interculturalité, aux sciences politiques et aux relations internationales. Descriptif éventuel de projet : Le projet vise à associer deux éléments : la géopolitique et l histoire francophone des pays membres de la Francophonie pour l étude des composantes francophones de leurs identités. Il est important de cerner pour chacun des pays francophones, de l origine de la Francophonie à aujourd hui, la façon dont la composante francophone de leur identité s est formée et a pu s articuler avec d autres composantes identitaires et poser le problème de l appartenance francophone. L équipe travaille parallèlement sur le développement industriel et économique des pays francophones et tout particulièrement de l Indochine pendant la période coloniale. l Descriptions activités complémentaires : - Concours à l édition du manuel d enseignement «Francophonie et Mondialisation» et de la Revue internationale des mondes francophones (RIMF) ;

4 - Coordination de la formation et de la recherche au sein du Réseau international des Chaires Senghor de la Francophonie dont le siège est à l Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Ces Chaires sont des plateformes de formation et de recherche sur la Francophonie.

It is mainly done in the Masters 1 and 2. These lessons relate more specifically to the following matters: - History and geopolitics of the Francophonie - Institutions and cooperations of the Francophonie - Francophonie in regions of the world Component or Faculty: Institute for the Study of the Francophonie and the Globalization (General Service of teaching and research at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3). l Research profile The study of the Francophonie requires a multidisciplinary and transversal approach where historical research, alongside with political science, is important to understand the multilateral francophone adventure. This is to show how the Francophonie is switching from two stages involved in colonization and decolonization, to a third Francophonie future-oriented and anchored on values, henceforth recognized by a politically organized institution. URL: Lab. Description : The host team No "Francophonie, Globalization and International Relations " is situated at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Approved in 2011 by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This team is innovative and pioneering, as the object of research (the Francophonie and the Globalization) by its multidisciplinary approach. Indeed, she welcomes researchers from several areas of social sciences and aims to conceptualize the difficult question (because it is innovative) of Francophonie. The object of the research is the Francophonie itself. Anchored on solidarity and dialogue, the francophone reality concerns an issue of shared identities and belongings, of cultural and linguistic diversity and intercultural dialogue. In the context of cultural globalization, the team therefore works on complex issues related to intercultural matters, to political science and to international relations. Prospective description of project: The project aims to combine two elements: geopolitics and Francophone history of countries members of the Francophonie for the study of francophone component of their identities. It is important to identify for each of the francophone countries from the origin of the Francophonie, how the francophone component of their identity was formed and could be linked with other components of identity and therefore, to place the problem of francophone belonging. The team works in parallel on the industrial and economic development

7 of francophone countries and particularly in former Indochina during the colonial period. Descriptions of complementary activities: - Contribute to edit the textbook "Francophonie and Globalization" and the International Journal of Francophone Worlds (RIMF); - Coordination of training and research within the International Network of Senghor Chairs of Francophonie headquartered at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. These Chairs are platforms for research and training on the Francophonie.
