Il sera conforme aux besoins d'apprentissage spécifiques des professionnels de la chirurgie pour améliorer leurs compétences sur CIM. Il fournira les moyens nécessaires pour favoriser l'apprentissage formel, non formel et informel. Un programme d'apprentissage CIM commun garantira également les normes d'accréditation indispensable au niveau de l UE et faciliter la mobilité des professionnels au sein de l'union. Le projet fournira les bases nécessaires pour un cadre de formation CIM, qui peut être étendue aux autres domaines de la connaissance avec des besoins similaires et d'assurer la validité scientifique des résultats du projet. En outre, cela validera l'acceptation et la performance de l'environnement pour l'enseignement chirurgical. Le résultat final sera un produit de formation prêt à la commercialisation. Over the last decades, minimally invasive surgery (MIS) has been proved to be a safer and less traumatic approach for patients. The rapid evolution of MIS technologies and procedures raises new demands for initial and lifelong surgical training. The skills involved in MIS require a demanding training period for surgeons, which must be accommodated to the limited time and resources available. Old models based on the halstedian axiom need to give way to structured programs for integral education. However, there is no European consensus on a MIS learning framework and it is up to regional agencies to establish the criteria for accreditation. The project's main aim is to establish a joint initiative in the development of a EU MIS pedagogical framework. It will comply with the specific learning needs of surgical professionals in order to enhance their competence on MIS skills. It will account for the necessary means to enable formal, non-formal and informal learning. A common MIS learning programme will also guarantee the essential accreditation standards at a EU level and facilitate professionals mobility within the Union. A practical implementation of the model will be done. A Technology Enhanced Learning environment will be developed, providing collaborative context for MIS initial and lifelong learning, based on shareable, community-developed MIS video repositories. Collaborative and meaningful learning will be enhanced by an existing video-based authoring tool developed by members of the consortium, available for use by the community. The project will provide the necessary foundations for a European MIS training framework, which may be extended to other fields of knowledge with similar needs, and ensure the scientific validity of the project's results. Additionally, it will validate the acceptance and performance of the environment for surgical formation. The end result will be a training product ready for commercialization and its correspondent exploitation plan.
