MALE U-17 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP Dear Sirs: Under the FFRS Fédération Française de Roller Sports organization - in co-operation with Comite Régional Aquitaine de Rink Hockey, the Mairie de GUJAN-MESTRAS and the RSGM Rink Hockey - the 34 th. Male U-17 European Championship of Rink-Hockey will be held according with the following details: 1. DATES FOR THE COMPETITION & ESTABLISHED DEADLINE FOR TEAMS INSCRIPTION The 34 th. Male U-17 European Championship of Rink-Hockey will take place from the 24 th of August 2014 (Sunday) to the 30 th of August 2014 (Saturday). CERH has established the date of the 16 th. of May 2014 (Friday), as the deadline for the inscription of the National Federation teams in this European Championship. According to the CERS European Events Regulation, Article 1, paragraphs 2 and 2.1, it is important to recall that the skaters of a National Federation participating in an European Championship shall only be allowed to participation if they have the nationality of the respective country as evidenced by possession of valid national passports, with the exception of the Andorra, whose skaters must either present a valid passport or an official ID Card from their respective enclave of Andorra, depicting 3 years of continuous residency prior to the European Championship being entered. Besides that and according to the Official FIRS/CIRH Rules of the Game, Article 8, paragraph 2.1.2, concerning the category Under-17 Male, it is also important to recall that in this European Championship can only be included the skaters who have already completed the minimum age of 13 years but have not completed 17 years by 31 December of the year regarding her/his registration. This means that in the 34 th. 2 3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE OF THE NATIONAL TEAMS The foreign National teams should arrive during the 23 rd of August 2014 (Saturday) and travelling back on the 31 st of August 2014 (Sunday). 4. ACCOMODATION & HOTEL INFORMATION Each Federation is responsible for its own accommodation and meals cost, according to the regulations in force. The organizing Federation will send, as soon as possible, the information concerning the Hotels that could be used by the participating National Federations for their accommodation. 5. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO BE SENT BY THE PARTICIPATING NATIONAL FEDERATIONS After the inscription of the participating National Federations, CERH and the organizing Federation need to get from all the participating Federations - as soon as possible - the following documentation and/or information: 5.1 Submission of the registration list of all the team representatives of each participant Federation (players, delegates, technical staff and other representatives), whose form is available on the section " EUROPEAN NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIPS" of the CERH website, whose address is: Timetable of the flights of arrival and departure and the respective airport, in what concerns the official Delegation of the National Federation team, in order to allow the organizing Federation to organize their transportation. 6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED BY CERH After the inscription of the participating National Federations in this Championship, CERH will provide the participating teams with the additional information, namely on what concerns: 6.1 THE SCHEDULE OF THE MATCHES, INCLUDING THE OFFICIAL CEREMONIES 6.2 THE SCHEDULE OF THE TRAINING FOR ADAPTATION TO THE RINK OF ALL THE TEAMS 6.3 CONTROL OF THE INSCRIPTION FORM OF ALL TEAM REPRESENTATIVES 6.4 A COLLATERAL ACTIVITY CERH intends to handle a Debate/Seminar, under the supervision of the CERH Commission for the Development of Rink-Hockey.
