1 Géographie : 1 er cycle Cahier de savoirs et d activités: Espace-Temps, Géographie Overview: In Secondary Cycle One, students study how human beings use, occupy and take possession of space and transform it into a territory. Different types of territories in Québec, Canada and other parts of the world have been selected for study: urban territory (metropolises, cities subject to natural hazards and heritage cities), regional territory (tourist regions, forest regions, energy-producing regions and industrial regions), agricultural territory (agricultural territory in a national space and agricultural territory subject to natural hazards), Native territory and protected territory. Students learn to understand the organization of these territories and interpret issues associated with them. 3 Evaluation First Term - 20% a. Reporting: preliminary report, first term report card. b. End of term: November 4th, c. Evaluations: Unit Tests (40% of term), Projects (30% of term), Assignments and Homework (15% of term), Quizzes (15% of term). Second Term - 20% a. Reporting: second term report card. b. End of term: February 3, c. Evaluations: Midterm exam (30% of term), Unit Tests (30% of term), Projects (20% of term), Assignments and Homework (10% of term), Quizzes (10% of term). Third Term - 60% a. Reporting: end of year final report card. b. End of term: June 2, 2017 c. Evaluations: Unit Tests (40% of term), Projects (30% of term), Assignments and Homework (15% of term), Quizzes (15% of term) Final exam: (30% of year).

We will respond to you within 24 hours. Teachers are very busy during the school day, and we do not have secretaries to handle phone calls, so electronic communication is the most reliable way for you to communicate with us and for us to communicate with you.
