ABC Pool ABC POOL is a social media site where you can share and engage with creative work and collaborate with the people who make it. Pool breaks down boundaries between producers and consumers of media, between media professionals and "the former audience". Pool is run by the Australian public broadcaster - the ABC. Anyone, any age, anywhere can contribute in all media forms; images, text, audio and video. Two of Pool s core principles are: participation and co-creation. ABC Pool is the first UGC site within the corporation to give life to an authentic community of people who share their own opinions, work and knowledge through the use of audio, video, images, text and podcasts. Mentre i risultati vengono proiettati in tempo reale sul grande videowall presente in studio. Le innovazioni tecniche sono svariate: dal sistema multicanale, al sito interamente progettato secondo gli standard HTML5. Le pagine digitali possono essere visualizzate su un normale PC, ma anche sui laptop, sui tablet e su browser che sfruttano piattaforme di tipo cloud (come Google) Il linguaggio HTML di ultima generazione consente di condividere immagini ad alta definizione e in tempo reale. An interactive map has been developed to present Chatila. Nine specific places are identified and each of them is developed as a specific theme. Each place provides videos, portraits and information about the place itself and its inhabitants. Our site proposes a completely immersive experience by sound, image and video of fantastic quality. The coverage is not only wide, it is deep. The viewer is really witnessing life in the camp, as if he were actually walking in the streets. A blog by each one of the journalists has been on-line while they were in Liban. Pictures, videos and short text witness their visit and experience there. Viewers have participated by sending their own comments and testimonies. I rifugiati di Chatila Un sito ma anche una vera e propria mappa interattiva sviluppata per presentare il campo di rifugiati palestinesi dislocato nella periferia di Beirut, in Libano. Il campo si chiama Chatila. Il sito riproduce nove locazioni del campo e ognuna di esse è stata digitalizzata e resa interattiva. Video e ritratti dei rifugiati, così come tutte le informazioni su Chatila e sui suoi abitanti, sono disponibili ad ogni clic del mouse. Il sito propone un'esperienza immersiva con suoni e immagini, con filmati di eccellente qualità, mostrando una panoramica delle situazioni che questa gente vive ogni giorno. Lo spettatore in questo modo è testimone oculare della vita nel campo. Il blog interno è raccontato giorno per giorno dai giornalisti che sono stati realmente sul posto e hanno vissuto assieme ai rifugiati, documentando con contributi multimediali le storie di quella gente. About a quarter of the population is obese, half the population is overweight and diabetes rates are skyrocketing. The core mission of the "Live Right Now" website is to turn the tide on this crisis by inspiring Canadians to make changes in their own lives. It all started with a small town in Northern Canada called Taylor, B.C. When local residents pledged to lead healthier lives on the television show Village on Diet in 2011, they helped inspire a nation. How did this happen? The television show was the spark behind an innovative user-generated community called Live Right Now. The Live Right Now web site is an extensive social and transmedia experiment powered users. It allows people to directly participate in what they were seeing on the television show. While the TV show was about making healthy changes; the web site goes further. It extends the television show to the web, and ultimately to the lives of people at home. Live Right Now Il Canada sta affrontando una grave crisi per quanto riguarda la salute dei suoi cittadini. This leads to a war which the country loses soldiers are killed, wounded or captured. Denmark is reduced to half its size and in years to come many families have to live with the consequences of this fatal event.this year "Danish Radio" has decided to re-enact the central battle of Dybbol by broadcasting live radio coverage as it would have sounded in The broadcast was supported by a website with background material on the battle, live blogging, interactive "news" graphics illustrating the movements of the armies and an interactive map where users can upload stories of soldiers destinies. This is a very popular feature illustrating the ongoing interest in the battle and turns the website into important historical evidence. Dybbol 1864 La Danimarca, nel 1864, perseguendo un ideale fortemente nazionalista sfidò la flotta Austro-prussiana collezionando una sonora sconfitta. Molti soldati danesi furono uccisi, altri catturati o feriti. Questa sconfitta fu fatale per il paese che perse gran parte del proprio territorio e per molti anni dovette subire le conseguenze politiche ed economiche della così detta Guerra dei Ducati. Quest anno la radio danese ha deciso di far rivivere la battaglia più importante, del Dybbol attraverso una trasmissione radiofonica ad essa dedicata. La trasmissione è supportata da un sito web che raccoglie materiale della battagli e una piattaforma blog che raccoglie notizie sulla guerra. Tutta la grafica illustra i movimenti degli eserciti, compresa una mappa interattiva dove gli utenti possono caricare singole storie dei soldati che hanno vissuto quei terribili momenti. Questa modalità di approccio al sito fa capire quanto la gente danese sia interessata a fornire testimonianze storiche dell epoca. It offers on demand content as well as live broadcasting on web. In YLE we have developed a concept to support live web broadcasting: this concept is called "Aitio" (Box seat in English, Boîte in French). Aitio creates a unique user experience. It offers live videostream with chat, facebook and twitter commenting and related content in the same browser window. The user can watch the show with other users and chat together. YLE's professionals and journalists can also participate in the discussion. The story has four main characters and the action of each character is driven by the addiction in which he is trapped. They all try to rebuild their lives. When someone proposes the burglary, they are all tempted by the easy money. But what will they decide? Who is really manipulating them? Between November 15th and December 16th 2010, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a new episode is posted on the website. One episode is composed by 5 sequences (modules). One for each character and one Custody. The custodies are reflecting the police inquiry of the crime. Addicts "Addicts" è una fiction pensata e scritta appositamente per il Web. Ogni episodio è composto da 5 sequenze (moduli), una per ogni personaggio ai quali si aggiunge un agente di custodia che ha il compito di controllare i giovani. Perpétuellement "border line", la réalité flirte toujours dangereusement avec la fiction, tournée en 2 mois dans de vrais quartiers, avec de vraies personnes aux histoires autant individuelles qu universelles. Dans la banlieue des Aubiers à Bordeaux, les habitants vivent et survivent tous grâce à leurs espoirs quotidiens. Mais, inévitablement, certains sont encore et toujours rattrapés par leur passé. Entre le 15 Novembre et le 16 Décembre 2010, chaque lundi, mercredi et vendredi, un nouvel épisode était disponible sur le site. Competition with professional shooting for the winners, book edition and exhibition.the interactive platform "Fashion and the city" was created to accompany a special programming week on ARTE with documentaries on famous creators, like Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gauthier etc. scheduled beginning March, when everywhere in the media, people were speaking about the "Prêt à porter Fashion" week in Paris. The aim was to create the possibility for the public to participate by sending their photos to show their personal fashion style, their own street look which is influencing all these famous and known creators. By making a competition out of it, with a public jury (all the users) and a special ARTE Fashion Jury, we made this a game and rewarded the best contributions. At the same time we used the platform to promote and inform about the TV program in a non institutional, playful way. Fashion and the city La piattaforma interattiva Fashion and the city è stata creata per fare fronte ad un pubblico multimediale in occasione della settimana del Prêt à porter a Parigi. L'emittente ARTE ha realizzato alcuni documentari dedicati a grandi stilisti come Karl Lagerfeld e Jean Paul Gauthier. Il progetto è stato messo online proprio durante la settimana dell'evento. L'obiettivo è stato quello di consentire al pubblico di interagire e partecipare attivamente, inviando le proprie foto mostrando il loro stile, il loro look. Una sorta di concorso alternativo costituito da una giuria popolare, ovvero gli utenti della Rete. La giuria, attraverso una serie di giochi online ha potuto votare e premiare i migliori contributi alla moda. Il programma televisivo omonimo è stato allo stesso modo pubblicizzato tramite il sito attraverso una serie di giochi interattivi. What she doesn t know: There s a chip planted into her brain. Johanna has become part of a malicious experiment. She is subject Alpha 0.7. Her new employer, Protecta Society, and the state-run Pre-Crime-Center NPC are testing novel techniques of brainmanipulation. Implement brainscanners all over Europe that s their plan. The five leaders also inspired thousands of people across the country to overhaul their own diets and fitness regiemes, as the levels of activity on the online resources certainly proved. The Operation Transformation website has a dedicated Facebook page that proved to be a valuable resource giving followers the opportunity of offering advice and support to each other, constant updates from the leaders, along with tips, discussions and specialist advice from the Operation Transformation experts. The power of "FIY" lies in the ability to produce multiple camera registrations from any event where the crowd is prepared to film with a mobile phone. FIY can sync videos from one event automatically with an accuracy up to 1 fps via a very precise sync technique within its app. Only during start up of the app a network connection is necessary. During filming the app doesn't need any internet connection at all. Instead of cutting all the videos into one edit that throws away most of the content, FIY developed a player that combines up to twelve angles in a multi grid, where the viewer can choose its own point of view. By using the sync technique together with the location service from the phone and its own interactive multi grid player, FIY manages to produce a crowd sourced multi cam registration of any event within minutes after videos have been uploaded. The eight episodes premiered weekly on the website, and during the live broadcast on TV, the users could chat and interact with the three participants from the show. All the episodes and content are still available for watching on the website. Trekant is the biggest success for p3.no to this date, and Trekant 2 is now in production. The Being Human online platforms were extended significantly for Series 3 and the main web site was completely redesigned Being Human as part of the run up to launch a range of content was supplied. "Behind The Scenes" video was released on the blog during the production process in order to build the anticipation for the new series.
