Leveling glides, small adjustable feet, are installed on large pieces of furniture to compensate for uneven flooring, such as rugs, carpet or tile. Leveling glides will help you if: The piece is unstable or rocks. Doors do not line up. To utilize the leveling glides: Locate the leveling glides on the bottom of the piece. Loosen one adjustable glide. Once the leveling glide is adjusted accurately: The piece will not rock. Doors will line up.
