Félicitations, Vous êtes l heureux propriétaire de la montre connectée Veabuddy. La Veabuddy est le fidèle compagnon de votre smartphone (Android, iphone et Windows). Elle affiche sur son écran en même temps qu une vibration, toutes les notifications que vous avez demandées à votre smartphone et sans le sortir de votre poche. Elle télécommande votre smartphone et lui donne certaines informations grâce à ses capteurs. Vous êtes maintenant libre et connecté. CHARGEMENT DE LA BATTERIE La VEABuddy possède un port USB au bout du bracelet, son chargeur est toujours avec vous. Branchez votre VEABuddy à la prise murale fournie ou sur n importe quel port USB pour recharger la batterie. Vous avez aussi une rallonge extensible pour la connecter au PC tout en continuant à la porter. Si elle est éteinte, vous verrez une icône désignant une batterie avec une petite animation, celle-ci s arrêtera à la fin du chargement. Si elle est allumée, allez au menu réglages en faisant glisser l écran vers le bas et vous verrez l icône batterie en haut à droite s animer. MISE SOUS TENSION Appuyer sur le bouton pendant 2 secondes, vous verrez apparaître le logo VEA. La montre est maintenant prête à se connecter. APPLICATIONS Télécharger l application sur votre store selon votre OS.Avant de connecter l application il faut tout d abord jumeler la montre au smartphone. 4
SMARTPHONE MODE JUMELAGE 1. Allumez la VEAbuddy. 2. Vérifiez que le Bluetooth soit visible sur les réglages de la montre 3. Allez sur le menu Bluetooth the votre smartphone 4. Rechercher la Veabuddy. Connectez la Veabuddy et le smartphone 5. Lancez l application Veabuddy et appuyez sur «Connexion». La loupe va tourner puis se fixer. 6. Pour vérifier si la montre est bien jumelée, descendez l écran réglages et vous verrez en haut à droite l icône Bluetooth. Si la connexion s est faite, la montre se synchronise avec votre smartphone et vous aurez l heure et la montre sera en français. 5
MODE SOLO En mode solo, votre VeaBuddy fonctionne indépendamment de votre smartphone. Pour accéder à ce mode, faites descendre l écran de réglages et appuyez sur l icône en bas à droite. Pour connecter l oreillette Bluetooth dans ce mode : 1. Allumez l oreillette, 2. Descendez l écran réglages de la Buddy 3. Appuyez sur réglages 4. Appuyez sur bluetooth 5. Appuyez sur la loupe 6. La recherche démarre 7. Appuyez sur l appareil trouvé, sur l oreillette 8. Suivez les indications jusqu au jumelage 9. Une fois jumelée, la Veabuddy se connectera automatiquement à l oreillette choisie 6
LES DIFFÉRENTS ÉCRANS DE VOTRE VEABUDDY SMARTPHONE MODE L écran principal de la Veabuddy se compose de 4 icônes (raccourcis) et de l heure (raccourci de l Agenda). Pour atteindre les autres écrans, faites glisser l écran de gauche à droite ou de droite à gauche. Le bouton fait aussi défiler les écrans : appuyez une fois et l écran suivant apparaît, appuyez deux fois pour retourner à l écran principal où s affiche l heure. Pour atteindre les réglages faites glisser l écran de haut en bas. CONFIGURATION DES RACCOURCIS Accédez aux réglages à partir de la page principale. Appuyez sur Raccourcis. Choisissez les 4 fonctions que vous utiliserez le plus souvent en les cochant sur la liste. Les raccourcis s afficheront sur la page principale. 7
SMS ET APPELS Messagerie Brigitte Sébastien 0491715820 Sur cette page, le nombre d appels et de SMS reçus et non lus est affiché en bas à droite. Appuyez sur l écran pour en obtenir la liste. Lors d un appel vous pouvez : Accepter ou refuser l appel Rappeler quand vous le voudrez Envoyer un message enregistré AGENDA La montre récupère les rendez-vous du smartphone. GPS 8
La montre récupère l itinéraire demandé sur votre smartphone avec Google Maps et vous guide. Fermez l application Google Maps pour recevoir les notifications. Vous pouvez aussi obtenir votre micro localisation MUSIQUE La Veabuddy télécommande la musique de votre smartphone. Pour régler le volume faites glisser l écran vers le bas. La musique joue en tâche de fond, tant que vous ne l arrêtez pas. Pour Android, dans les réglages de l application Veabuddy, vous devez choisir l application qui joue la musique sur votre smartphone. PODOMÈTRE 9
Pour afficher vos informations personnelles (poids, taille, age), faites glisser l écran vers le haut. Pour définir vos objectifs (durée, nombre de pas, etc.), faites glisser l écran vers le bas. Le podomètre fonctionne en tâche de fond. Un message apparaîtra dès l atteinte de votre objectif. RÉSEAUX SOCIAUX Après avoir autorisée votre Veabuddy à récupérer vos messages Facebook ou Twitter, le nombre de messages s inscrit en bas à droite. Appuyez sur l écran pour les lire. GALERIE Vous pouvez récupérer les photos de votre smartphone. 10
PHOTOS La montre télécommande l appareil photo de votre smartphone. L application photos de votre smartphone doit être ouverte. COURRIEL Pour activer la fonction courriel sur Android, lancez l application Veabuddy. Dans les réglages, sélectionnez l application utilisée pour vos courriels. Appuyez sur l écran pour afficher la liste des courriels reçus. Pour effacer tout les courriels, ne sélectionnez rien et faites glisser la page vers la gauche. Pour effacer un seul courriel sélectionnez-le puis faites glisser la page vers la gauche. 11
MODE SOLO 13:37 Pour accéder à ce mode, faites descendre l écran de réglages et appuyez sur l icône en bas à droite. La page principale change et les fonctions disponibles en mode solo sont : le podomètre, la musique, les photos et l alarme sur la page principale. PODOMÈTRE Identique à celui du mode smartphone. MUSIQUE Vous devez ajouter votre musique dans la mémoire de la VEAbuddy, la montre fonctionne comme une clé USB. La montre joue vos musiques à partir de sa mémoire de 8 Go. 12
PHOTOS Vous pouvez ajouter vos photos de votre PC à la montre comme pour la musique. ALARME Vous allez régler l heure et les jours. AUTRES FONCTIONS Siri pour iphone peut être déclenché par votre montre. Nous travaillons aussi sur les autres OS. RÉVEIL DE LA MONTRE PAR LE MOUVEMENT Votre montre sort du mode veille par le bouton, mais aussi par un mouvement du bras. 13
MISES À JOUR Pour les mises à jour, merci de vous rendre sur notre site : http://veabuddy.fr/en/update Télécharger les différents programmes de mises à jour et suivez bien les indications. Executez toujours Veabuddytool en mode administrateur et ne connectez pas la montre à un port USB avant d avoir cliqué sur update, sinon la montre ne sera pas reconnue par Veabuddytool. Congratulations, You are the happy owner of the Veabuddy smartwatch. Veabuddy is the faithful companion of your smartphone (Android, iphone and Windows). It vibrates and displays the notifications that you have set up. It can control remotely your smartphone without taking it out of your pocket. It will also give some fitness information through its sensors. You are now free and connected. This quick start guide contains basic information to familiarise yourself with your Veabuddy. CHARGING THE BATTERY Your Veabuddy features a USB connector at the end of the band. The battery charger is always with you. Plug in your Buddy to the supplied USB-to-mains cable or to any USB connector on your laptop or PC. A cable extension is also provided to allow you to charge your Buddy while wearing it. If your Vea smartwatch is switched off when you charge, an animated battery icon will be displayed. The animation stops when the battery is full. If your Veabuddy is already switched on, you can check the battery charging by pulling down the Settings page from the main (favorites) page. SWITCHING ON YOUR BUDDY Press the button for 2 seconds. The VEA logo is displayed and your buddy is ready to be connected. APPLICATIONS Please download the Veabuddy app from the required store, depending on your smartphone operating system. Before connecting the application, you must now pair the watch and smartphone by Bluetooth. 18
PAIRING YOUR BUDDY SMARTPHONE MODE 1. Switch on the VEAbuddy. 2. Go to the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone 3. Make sure that the Bluetooth of the watch is visible on the watch settings, 4. Search the Veabuddy, pair the smartphone and Veabuddy 5. Open the application and press connect. The magnifying glass will turn and then settle down. 6. To check if the watch is paired, push down the settings s screen and you will see the top right icon Bluetooth. When the connection is made, the watch syncs with your smartphone and it will display the time. 19
SOLO MODE In this mode your Veabuddy operates independently from your smartphone. To access this mode, slide down the Settings page and tap on the icon in the lower right corner. To connect your Bluetooth earphones in this mode : 1. Switch on the headset 2. Pull down the Settings page 3. Tap on settings 4. Tap on bluetooth 5. Tap on magnifying glass 6. The search starts 7. Press desired device found, the headset 8. Follow the indication until pairing is complete 9. Once paired, the Veabuddy will automatically connect to the headset selected 20
THE VARIOUS PAGES OF YOUR BUDDY SMARTPHONE MODE The main screen displays 4 icons (shortcuts) and show the current time at the centre (Agenda shortcut). To reach other screens, you have to slide the screen from left to right or from right to left. The button can also scroll through screens, press once to go to the next screen, twice to return to the main screen. To go to the settings, scroll down from top to bottom. CONFIGURING THE MAIN SCREEN FAVORITES From the main (Favourite) page, pull down the Settings page. Select from the list the four functions you will use the most. The corresponding icons are now displayed in the main page of your Veabuddy. 21
TEXT MESSAGES AND CALLS On this page, the number of calls and unread messages is displayed in the lower right corner. Tap on the screen to display the list. When you receive a call, you can: Accept the call or reject it Call back later Send a recorded message AGENDA Messagerie Brigitte Sébastien 0491715820 The watch reads the events in your smartphone agenda. The watch displays the itinerary that you requested with Google maps on your smartphone and guides you. You have to close the Google Maps app, in order to receive the notifications. MUSIC Your Veabuddy remotely controls the music in your smartphone. Music settings are available by pulling down the Music settings page. Your music is played in the background until you stop it. For Android, in the Settings of the Veabuddy app, you must select the music app you use on your smartphone. PEDOMETER 23
To enter your personal information (weight, height, age), slide up the page. To set your fitness goals (duration, steps, etc.), slide down the page. The pedometer will say active in the background until you reach your goal. A notification will be displayed when you do. SOCIAL NETWORKS Your Veabuddy app will request the authorisation to read your Facebook or Twitter messages. The number of unread messages is displayed in the lower right corner. To read messages, tap on the screen. GALERY 24 Your Veabuddy can import your pictures from your smartphone.
PHOTOS Your Veabuddy can remotely control your smartphone camera. The photo app in your smartphone must be opened first. MAIL For Android, to activate this function, you must first select your preferred smartphone mail app in the Settings of the Veabuddy app. A list of unread mails is then displayed. To erase all mails, do not select anything and slide the page to the left. To delete a single mail select it and slide the page to the left. 25
SOLO MODE 13:37 26 To access this mode, slide down the Settings page and tap on the icon in the lower right corner. The main page changes and the available functions are: pedometer, music, photos and the alarm PEDOMETER Works just like in the smartphone mode. MUSIC You can add your MP3 tunes in the 8 GB memory of the Veabuddy, the watch is functions as a USB key. PHOTOS You can add your photos from your PC just like for music.
ALARM Just set the time and date. OTHERS FUNCTIONS Siri for iphone is triggered by your watch. We are currently working to provide a similar feature for other OS. GESTURE TO AWAKE THE WATCH Your Veabuddy can also be awaken by gesture. UPDATES To update your watch, please go to our website: http://veabuddy.fr/en/update There, you can download software for the Veabuddy. Please follow the indications provided. 27
TIP: the Veabuddytool program, must always be run in administrator mode. In addition, only connect the watch to a USB port of the PC after you clicked on update.
