General 1. Généralités ompetitor Digital Network (DN) ervices provide various arrangements to ompetitors for the digital transmission of information at D-0 and D-1 transmission speeds. Définitions suite "Point of Presence or POP" for the purposes of this tariff is defined as any ompetitor location in anada that the ompetitor has designated as an interconnection site, and may or may not contain a switch. "erving wire centre" or "W" is the first Bell ommunications building from which an end-customer premise, or ompetitor POP derives service. "erving wire centre area" is the geographical area served by the serving wire centre. "imple resale" is defined as resale of DN services without added value, e.g., if a ompetitor buys services from the ompany and resells those services to their end user, without connecting the services to their own network. imple resale includes rebilling. Modalités (a) DN services or any part thereof may be used in conjunction with other Bell ommunications services, ompetitor self-supply, or third party services and facilities provided these arrangements meet the terms and conditions of Bell's DN service. (b) A ompetitor may not engage in simple resale of DN services. The hief Executive Officer of the ompetitor is required to submit an affidavit to the RT annually, attesting that no DN services are used for simple resale, and that the route or pathway associated with each leased access facility included as part of DN services ultimately connects at a ompetitor location in anada, designated by the ompetitor as an interconnection site, which may or may not contain a switch. Modalités - suite h) ervices and features billed to ompetitors as of 3 February 2005 may be migrated from other Bell Aliant services to DN services following a request by the ompetitor, and the provision of a detailed list of services to migrate. If this list was provided on or before 27 June 2005, DN rates shall be applied retroactively to 3 February 2005, without termination charges, provided those arrangements do not require modification to meet the terms and conditions of Bell Aliant s DN services. Otherwise, DN rates shall be applied from the date received on a going forward basis. Those services leased under other service tariffs that are submitted for N migration to the DN service tariff after 11 August 2006 will be subject to contract termination charges as per the specific services' tariff, in addition to the applicable DN service charges. Modalités - suite (j) For each DN access, the ompany will provide a service interface point (IP), such as a jack or a fibre patch panel. The ompetitor is responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of equipment beyond the IP. Any such equipment attached to the ompany's network must be certified or connected through a certified network protection device in accordance with Industry Terminal Attachment tandards.
