EXTARIEURES, LE GOUVERNEMENT DE LA RitPUBLIQUE FRANqAISE et LE GOUVERNEMENT DES ETATS-UNIS DU MEXIQUE sont d'accord pour maintenir, par le present 6change de notes entre le Secretariat d'etat aux relations ext~rieures du Mexique et la LUgation de France h Mexico, en ce qui concerne le rdgime douanier de leur commerce r~ciproque d'importation et d'exportation, le statu quo, sur ]a base du Trait6 conclu entre les deux pays le 26 novembre 1886, statu quo qui sera maintenu jusqu'au 30 juilet 1929, h moins qu'avant cette date un nouveau trait6 de commerce n'ait k6 sign6 entre les deux pays. No EXCHANGE OF NOTES 2 BETWEEN THE FRENCH AND MEXICAN GOVERNMENTS CONSTITUTING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE COMMERCIAL REGIME ESTABLISH- ED BY THE TREATY 3 OF NOVEMBER 26, MEXICO, NOVEMBER i AND IO, French official text communicated by the Minister for Foreign Afairs of the French Republic. The registration of this Exchange of Notes took place February 18, OF LEGATION THE FRENCH REPUBLIC IN MEXICO. His EXCELLENCY M. GENARO ESTRADA, SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS, MEXICO. THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC and THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF MEXICO have agreed, by the present exchange of notes between the Mexican States Department for Foreign Affairs and the French Legation in Mexico, to maintain with respect to the Customs arrangements governing their reciprocal import and export trade, the status quo based upon the Treaty concluded between the two countries on November 26, 1886, which status quo shall be maintained until July 30, 1929, unless a new commercial treaty shall, before that date, have been signed by the two countries.
