Besoins Messagerie (Messaging Handler) A message handling system MUST offer the following functionalities : Optimum security (Identification, Authentication, Allocation of rights, cryptography, Integrity, Non repudiation, ). Independence concerning the interface. Independence concerning the services. Independence concerning the transport mode (TCP/IP, ). Independence concerning the communication protocol (HTTP, SMTP, FTP, X400, ). Independence concerning the syntax. On demand services (Archiving, Traceability, Time stamping, Mapping, ). Multi Hop (capability to pass documents through multiple intermediaries). Interactions (Acknowledgements, errors, traceability, time to answer, ) between two trading partners (SOAP, X400, ). No limits concerning the volume of the documents. No limits concerning the types of the payload documents (their formats). BoostAero recommandation ebms2 3
