Failure to follow them could result in a fire or explosion causing property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. The product must be installed and operated according to all codes and local regulations. Fire or Explosion Hazard. Can cause property damage, severe injury, or death. Do not bend tubing at gas valve connection point after compression fitting has been tightened. This can result in gas leakage at the connection. It is the appliance manufacturer s responsibility to determine GV60 s suitability for a specific application. Do not remove screws from the gas valve. Do not adjust and/or alter any components marked with tamper indicating paint. Motor knob is not to be removed. 1. Turn OFF gas supply at the appliance service valve before starting installation, and perform a Gas Leak Test after the installation is complete. 2. Install the sediment trap (where required) in the gas supply line to prevent contamination of the gas valve (see figure 9). 3. Use only your hand to push in or turn the gas control knobs. Never use tools. If a knob will not push in or turn by hand, do not try to repair it. Call a qualified service technician. Force or attempted repair will void warranty and can result in a fire or explosion. Use new, properly reamed pipe free from metal or material chips. When tubing is used, assure that ends are square, deburred and clean. All tubing bends must be smooth and free of distortion. When threads are tightened, the valve must be held at the designated clamping points (see figure 10). Do not apply pressure to top casting or plastic cover. Sediment Trap English Location Locate the combination gas valve where it is not exposed to steam cleaning, high humidity, dripping water, corrosive chemicals, dust or grease accumulation, or excessive heat. To assure proper operation, follow these guidelines: Locate combination gas valve in a well-ventilated area. Mount combination gas valve high enough to avoid exposure to flooding or splashing water. Make sure the ambient temperature does not exceed the ambient temperature ratings for each component. 8 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for oem use only English Connection Main Gas (Tubing Connections) 1. Do not use pipe joint compound or Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. Slip nut and ferrule over tubing. 3. Sslide nut and ferrule into place, and insert tubing into inlet/outlet connection until it bottoms. Turn finger tight. 4. Use a wrench to tighten nut about 1 turn beyond finger tight. Do not overtighten connections. Overtightening can damage the control body resulting in leakage or control malfunction. Connection Main Gas (Pipe Connections) 1. Do not use Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. Pipe to be inserted into the valve must be the proper thread length and to gauge. Thread that is cut too long can cause distortion or malfunction if inserted too deeply. 3. Apply a moderate amount of approved pipe sealant to the pipe only, leaving the two end threads bare. 4. Connect pipe to valve inlet and outlet. PERFORM Gas Leak Test 1. Check carefully for gas leaks immediately after the valve has been installed and the gas turned on. Do this before attempting to operate the appliance or other gas burning device. 2. Using a clean brush, apply an approved leak test solution to the tubing and pipe connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. 3. if no leakage is detected, light the main burner. 4. With the main burner in operation, apply an approved leak test solution to all tubing and pipe connections (including adapters) and the valve inlet and outlet. Bubbles indicate a leak. 5. Iif a leak is detected, tighten pipe connections (including adapters) according to Gas Connections (pages 5, 6). Absolutely no leakage should occur, otherwise there is a danger of fire or explosion depending upon conditions. Never use if leakage is detected. Do not overtighten connections. Overtightening can damage the control body resulting in leakage or control malfunction. Connection Pilot Gas (Tubing Connections) 1. Do not use pipe joint compound or Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. Slip fitting over tubing. 3. Iinsert pilot tubing into pilot outlet until it bottoms. Turn fitting finger tight. 4. Turn with a wrench until you shear off the ferrule. Turn an additional ¾ turn to make a gastight seal. 5. Connect other end of tubing to pilot burner. The main gas valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures in excess of ½ psi (3.5 kpa CSA; 50 mbar CE). 9 INSTALLATION INSTRUCtions for oem use only WIRING Connections (See figures 11 15, pages 8 12) NOTICE Wiring of valve and receiver must be completed before starting ignition. Failure to do so could damage the electronics. Connect all components according to the appropriate wiring diagram. When GV60 components are installed, make sure they are not exposed to dirt, oil, grease or other chemical agents. Do not permit foreign particles under plastic cover. Place ON/OFF switch (if equipped) where it is easily accessible for the user. Thermocouple Circuit Total resistance of thermocouple circuit should be minimized to ensure proper operation. NOTICE The use of the Mertik Maxitrol interrupter block is recommended. Keep connection of interrupter block and thermocouple clean and dry. Avoid severe bending of the thermocouple tubing during installation (min. 1 radius; 2.5 cm) as this may cause it to fail. 1. Iinsert batteries or connect AC mains power. The module for circulating fan and light/dimmer includes a mains adapter. With mains adapter, batteries can be used for backup (RF only). 2. Place ON/OFF switch (if equipped) to ON position. 3. The receiver has to learn the handset code: Press and hold the receiver s reset button (figure 11, page 8) until you hear two (2) beeps. After the second, longer beep, release the reset button. Within the subsequent 20 seconds press the (small flame) button on the handset until you hear two (2) short beeps confirming the code is set. NOTE: This is a one time setting only, and it is not required when changing the batteries in the handset or receiver. 4. Check the reception. For better reception straighten the antenna and move it to a position that allows for better reception (see notice below). 5. When the RF-receiver is placed in the appliance, the surrounding metal can reduce reception considerably. The position of the antenna on the receiver also influences reception. NOTICE The antenna must not cross or come into contact with the ignition wire. This will render the receiver inoperable. English 2011 Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. KG, All Rights Reserved. Tighten interrupter block into valve ¼ turn beyond finger tight (2...3 Nm). slide cables into plastic insert. slide plastic insert with cables into the brass interrupter block. While keeping pressure on the cables and plastic insert, tighten the thermocouple turn beyond finger tight (2...3 Nm). Ignition Cable NOTICE Do not damage the ignition cable while attaching it to the ignition electrode. When the cable is in place, avoid contact with sharp objects or edges. With cables longer than 900 mm, avoid contact with metal parts, as this could decrease spark. Receiver NOTICE To keep the receiver free from debris, dirt, and humidity, do not remove the receiver from the plastic bag until all construction is complete. IR Versions Place the infrared eye in a suitable position. The infrared signal transmission requires a line of sight. Electric Shock Hazard: Read these instructions carefully. Use Power cord, Fan and Light with Molex connecter according to wiring diagram (figure 12, page 9) or connect wires with core cable ends to the pluggable screw terminals. V Module with screw terminals: max. AWG 12/2,5mm 2 (figure 12, page 9). Connect the Light and the Fan first and then the power supply. 12 INSTALLATION INSTRUCtions for oem use only RF 2 ND THERMOCOUPLE OPTION GV60 Valve Receiver G6R-R3(4)AU..T English Ground Wire Thermocouple Cable Figure 13 Burner Second Thermocouple Second Thermocouple Function A second thermocouple is placed in the main burner in order to check that the main gas is ignited within a certain time after opening. The voltage will be measured T1 (22 sec) after the motor has turned in high fire direction (after ignition and after increasing flame height). If the voltage is lower than 1.8 mv, the electronics shut off the gas completely. A new start is blocked for T2, which is 2 minutes after ignition failure and 1 minute after failure while opening main gas. Receivers for second thermocouple are identified with a yellow sticker on the back. They will not operate without the thermocouple connected. Other versions will not operate if the thermocouple is connected. The second thermocouple function is certified as safety level B according to EN Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. Press (star) button and the (large flame) button or the ON button for touchpad to start ignition. The ignition process and the start sequence of the power flue control begin simultaneously. Upon proof of pilot and once the exhaust control establishes a positive draft, the solenoid valve will open supplying main gas to the burner. Pressing the OFF button of the handset or touchpad shuts off the fan, main gas, and pilot. When the pilot operates alone for more than 10 seconds, the power flue control will automatically shut off the fan. If the batteries are low, the fan cannot be switched off by the electronics! The batteries should be replaced or an additional switch should be added to the system to turn off the fan. English 11 / 65

15 INSTALLATION INSTRUCtions for oem use only Gas Control Knob Settings Gas control knobs function as follows (see figure 16): KNOB POSITION FUNCTION Main valve OFF Prevents main gas flow through valve. Main valve ON Permits main gas flow through valve if the pilot is lit and thermocouple is generating sufficient power. MANUAL knob MAN Allows the pilot to be manually ignited and prevents main gas flow. MANUAL knob ON Allows for automatic ignition. Adjustment It is the appliance manufacturer s responsibility to determine GV60 s suitability for a specific application. Do not attempt to remove screws from the top of gas valve. Do not change any adjustments marked with tamper indicating paint. Motor knob is not to be removed. Pressure Regulator (remove plug first) Main Valve Knob Pilot Gas Adjustment Screw (turn with screwdriver) MANUAL Knob Connection Piezo Igniter Tab 2.8 x 0.8 mm 3. It is now possible to pierce through a film on the cover with a screwdriver to reach the adjustment screw beneath. 4. (10 to13 mm) thermocouple standard Regulator or Throttle (Throttle CE only) 1. Connect a pressure manometer to the valve outlet pressure tap. Pressure tap is opened by turning the screw counterclockwise. Pressure regulator or throttle are located under the cover and can be reached by removing the plug (see figures 16 and 18). 2. Turn MANUAL knob and main valve knob to the ON position. 3. Turn pressure regulator adjustment screw to set required burner pressure (high fire). Pressure is increased by turning clockwise (pressure regulator models), or decreased by turning counterclockwise. The pilot flame should envelope ⅜ to ½ of the thermocouple vented only (see figure 17). 1. The adjustment screw can be reached through a hole in the MANUAL knob (see figure 16). 2. Turn the MANUAL knob to the ON position. Figure 18: Combination Control GV60, Cover NOTE: Throttle model s pressure is increased by turning counterclockwise ; or decreased by turning clockwise. 4. After adjustment, replace the plug. 5. If no other adjustments are required, close pressure tap(s) by turning the screw(s) full clockwise. Check all connections/pressure tap(s) for leaks. 6. If the desired outlet pressure or flow cannot be achieved by adjusting the gas valve, check the gas valve inlet pressure using a manometer at the valve inlet pressure tap. If the inlet pressure is in the normal range, replace the gas valve; otherwise, 13 / 65

16 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for oem use only take necessary steps to assure proper gas pressure to the valve. Changing the Fuel Type (Vented Units Only) English Convertible Pressure Regulator (Optional) Convertible regulators are designed to deliver either of two fixed outlet pressures for Natural Gas (NG) or LP Gas. To change from one gas to the other, turn the conversion plug (see figure 19) counter clockwise to remove. Unsnap and remove the plastic part, rotate it 180, and then slide it back on the conversion plug until it snaps. Turn the conversion plug clockwise until it bottoms out. Conversion Plug GV60 is suitable for all gas types and can be converted to meet the manufacturer s requirements for a specific gas type. Adjustments of pressure regulator, minimum rate and pilot gas are according to above-mentioned instructions. To convert for LPG CE it is necessary to block the pressure regulator by turning the regulator adjustment screw fully to the bottom limit (or the throttle adjustment screw fully to the upper limit). FINAL CHECK Observe several complete cycles to ensure proper operation. During these cycles the electronics will determine the optimum ignition sequence timing. NG position 1. STOP! Read the safety information included before proceeding. 2. Turn main valve knob to the OFF, full clockwise position. 3. Place ON/OFF switch (if equipped) to the O (OFF position). 4. Wait five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Verify that no gas is in the area around the appliance, including near the floor. If you detect gas STOP! Follow What to do if you smell gas in the safety information (page 2). If no gas is present, proceed according to the Mertik Maxitrol Operating Instructions. Set the control into low fire setting by turning the motor knob to OFF position and back until the valve opens. 2. The minimum rate can be set either by screwing in a calibrated minimum rate screw (fixed orifice) or an adjustable minimum rate screw. Controls with adjustable screws without a customer specific setting are factory set at maximum flow. 3. Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the minimum flow. 4. Care should be taken to screw the fixed orifice until it stops. 5. Close pressure tap(s) by turning the screw(s) full clockwise. NOTICE Only the Mertik Maxitrol AC Mains Adapter or one preapproved by Mertik Maxitrol can be used. Use of other adaptors can render the system inoperable. The module for fan speed control and light/dimmer includes mains power together with batteries in the receiver for automatic backup in case of power outage. Without using a mains adapter, battery replacement is recommended at the beginning of each heating season. Setting the electronics code (First time use only.) Radio Frequency Handset A code is selected automatically for all Mertik Maxitrol electronics from among 65,000 random codes available. The receiver has to learn the code of the handset: Press and hold the receiver s reset button (see figure 22) until you hear two (2) beeps. The first beep is short and the second beep is long. After the second beep, release the reset button. Within the subsequent 20 seconds press the (small flame) button on the handset until you hear two additional short beeps confirming the code is set. If the battery runs down it will remain in the last operating position. During normal operation the solenoid valve will be reset to the ON position when the GV60 is switched OFF remotely. Burner Off Burner ON Upon ignition Main Burner and Decorative Burner are ON. Simultaneously press SET and (small flame) buttons to switch the Burner OFF. Enclencher ou ouvrir les boutons de commande du gaz uniquement à la main. Ne jamais utiliser d outils. S il n est pas possible d enclencher ni d ouvrir un bouton à la main, ne pas essayer de le réparer, contacter un technicien qualifié. Toute force appliquée ou tentative de réparation annule la garantie, pouvant entraîner un incendie ou une explosion. Lorsque les conduites sont fixées, le bloc gaz doit être maintenu aux points de serrage indiqués (voir la figure 10). Ne pas appliquer de pression sur la coulée directe ni sur le chapeau en plastique. Nne pas utiliser de pate à joint ni de bande en Teflon /PTFE. 2. enfiler l écrou et la virole sur la conduite. 3. Ffaire glisser l écrou et la virole et insérer la conduite jusqu au fond dans le branchement d entrée/de sortie. Serrer à la main. 4 Utiliser une clé à vis pour serrer l écrou d environ 1 tour après avoir serré à la main. AVERTISSEMENT Ne pas serrer excessivement les branchements. Un serrage excessif peut endommager le corps du bloc gaz, provoquant une fuite ou un dysfonctionnement. Raccordement principal au gaz (branchements des conduites) 1. Ne pas utiliser de bande en Teflon /PTFE. 2. La conduite à insérer dans le bloc gaz doit avoir la longueur de filetage correct et passer dans le dispositif. Un filetage trop long peut entraîner une fuite ou un dysfonctionnement s il est inséré trop profondément. 3. Aappliquer une quantité modérée de matériau d étanchéité autorisé pour conduites uniquement sur la conduite, en laissant nues les deux filets d extrémité. 4. Brancher la conduite à l entrée et à la sortie du bloc gaz. EFFECTUER un test de fuite de gaz 1. Vérifier soigneusement la présence de fuites de gaz immédiatement après l installation du bloc gaz et l ouverture du gaz. Effectuer cette action avant d essayer d exploiter l appareil ou d autres dispositifs de combustion à gaz. 2. En utilisant un pinceau propre, appliquer une solution de test anti-fuite autorisée sur les branchements des conduites et tuyauteries. La présence de bulles indique une fuite. 3. Ssi aucune fuite n est détectée, allumer le brûleur principal. 4. Lorsque le brûleur principal fonctionne, appliquer une solution de test anti-fuite autorisée sur tous les branchements des conduites et tuyauteries (adaptateurs inclus) et sur l entrée et la sortie du bloc gaz. La présence de bulles indique une fuite. 5. Ssi une fuite est détectée, resserrer les branchements des tuyauteries (adaptateurs inclus) selon la rubrique «Branchement du gaz» (pages 27, 28). AVERTISSEMENT Il ne doit se produire absolument aucune fuite, sinon il y a risque d incendie ou d explosion selon les conditions. Ne jamais utiliser si une fuite est détectée. AVERTISSEMENT Ne pas serrer excessivement les branchements. Un serrage excessif peut endommager le corps de la commande, provoquant une fuite ou un dysfonctionnement. Raccordement de gaz sur la veilleuse (branchements des tuyauteries) 1. Nne pas utiliser de combinaison de joints pour tuyauterie ni de bande en Teflon /PTFE. 2. enfiler la garniture sur la tuyauterie. 3. Iinsérer la tuyauterie de la veilleuse dans la sortie de celle-ci et jusqu au fond. Serrer à la main. 4. Sserrer avec une clé à vis jusqu à avoir coupé la virole. Faire encore ¾ de tour pour obtenir un joint étanche au gaz. 5. Brancher l autre extrémité de la conduite au brûleur de la veilleuse. AVERTISSEMENT Le bloc gaz doit être débranché du système de conduites d alimentation en gaz pendant tout contrôle de pression effectué sur celui-ci donnant des résultats supérieurs à ½ psi (3,5 kpa CSA; 50 mbar CE). Connexions DES FILS (voir figures 11 15, pages 30 34) INDICATION Le câblage du bloc et du récepteur doit être terminé avant de démarrer l allumage. Tout non-respect peut endommager les composants électroniques. Brancher tous les composants selon le schéma de câblage approprié. Si des composants GV60 sont installés, s assurer qu ils ne sont pas exposés à la crasse, l huile, la graisse ou d autres agents chimiques. Empêcher la pénétration de particules externes au-dessous du chapeau en plastique. Installer le bouton ON/OFF (si dans l équipement) à l endroit le plus facilement accessible pour l utilisateur. Circuit de thermocouple La résistance totale du circuit de thermocouple doit être réduire pour assurer un fonctionnement correct. INDICATION L utilisation du bloc interrupteur Mertik Maxitrol est recommandée. Conserver le branchement du bloc interrupteur et du thermocouple propre et sec. Éviter le raccordement serré de la conduite de thermocouple pendant l installation (au moins 1 de rayon; 2,5 cm), sinon celui-ci risque de tomber en panne. Installer le bloc interrupteur en le serrant ¼ de tour de plus que le serrage manuel (2 3 Nm) dans le bloc gaz GV60. Insérer les connecteurs dans les fentes de la gaine plastique. Insérer la gaine plastique avec les câbles dans les bornes laiton du bloc interrupteur. En tenant les câbles et la gaine plastique, serrer le thermocouple dans le bloc gaz GV60 ¼ 1/2 de tour de plus que le serrage manuel (2 3 Nm). Câble d allumage INDICATION Ne pas endommager le câble d allumage en l attachant à l électrode d allumage. Si le câble est en place, éviter le contact avec des objets ou des bords tranchants. Avec des câbles de plus de 900 mm de long, éviter le contact avec les pièces métalliques, celles-ci peuvent produire des étincelles. Récepteur INDICATION Pour garder le récepteur exempt de poussières, de crasse et d humidité, ne pas retirer le récepteur du sac en plastique avant que le montage soit terminé. 1. Iinsérer les piles ou brancher l adaptateur principal de CA. Le module de ventilateur circulant/variateur d éclairage comprend un adaptateur principal. L adaptateur principal permet d utiliser les piles pour la réserve (RF seulement). 2. Mettre le bouton ON/OFF (si dans l équipement) à la position ON. 3. Le récepteur doit apprendre le code de la télécommande: Appuyer sur le bouton de réinitialisation du récepteur (figure 11, page 30) jusqu à ce que deux (2) bips retentissent. Après le second bip, plus long, relâcher le bouton de réinitialisation. Dans les 20 secondes suivantes, appuyer sur le bouton (petite flamme) sur la télécommande, jusqu à ce que deux bips brefs retentissent, confirmant que le code est réglé. NOTE: Cce réglage est unique et il n est pas nécessaire en cas de remplacement des piles dans la télécommande ou le récepteur. 4. Vérifiez la réception. Pour une meilleure réception redresser l antenne et la déplacer dans une position qui permet une meilleure réception (voir l avis ci-dessous). 5. Lorsque le récepteur RF est en place dans l installation, le métal environnant peut réduire considérablement la réception. La position de l antenne sur le récepteur influence également la réception. INDICATION L antenne ne doit pas se croiser ni entrer en contact avec le fil d allumage. Dans un tel cas, le récepteur ne pourrait pas fonctionner. Versions IR Placer l aiguille infrarouge dans une position convenable. La transmission du signal infrarouge nécessite une ligne de vue. Fonction du Deuxième thermocouple Un deuxième thermocouple est placé dans le brûleur principal afin de vérifier que le gaz principal est allumé au cours d un certain temps après l ouverture. La tension sera mesurée au T1 (22 s) après que le moteur ait été démarré dans le sens de la haute flamme (après l allumage et après avoir augmenté la hauteur de la flamme). Si la tension est inférieure à 1,8 mv, le système électronique coupe le gaz complètement. Un nouveau démarrage est bloqué pour le T2, qui est 2 minutes après le défaut d allumage et 1 minute après le défaut pendant l ouverture du gaz principal. Les récepteurs du deuxième thermocouple sont marqués d un autocollant jaune au revers. Ils ne fonctionneront pas sans que le thermocouple soit connecté. D autres versions ne fonctionneront pas si le thermocouple est connecté. La fonction du deuxième thermocouple est certifiée comme niveau de sécurité «B» selon la norme EN / 65

Pour passer du gaz naturel (NG) au GPL (LP) ou inversement, tourner le bouchon de conversion (figure 19) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d une montre et l enlever. Déclipser la pièce en plastique et la refaire coulisser dans le sens opposé jusqu à ce qu elle s encliquette (figure 19). Tourner le bouchon de conversion dans le sens complet des aiguilles d une montre jusqu il touche le fond. 5. Ffermer la/les prise(s) de pression en tournant complètement la/les vis dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. Vérifier l absence de fuite sur toutes les connexions/ prise(s) de pression. Modifier le type de combustible (Uniquement appareils purgés) Le GV60 convient à tous les types de gaz, il peut être converti pour répondre aux exigences du fabricant con cernant un type de gaz spécifique. Les ajustages du régulateur de pression, du niveau minimal et du gaz de la veilleuse s effectuent selon les instructions mentionnées ci-dessus. Pour convertir au GPL CE, il est nécessaire de bloquer le régulateur de pression en tournant la vis d ajustage du régulateur complètement jusqu à la limite du bas (ou en tournant complètement la vis d ajustage de la soupape étranglement jusqu à la limite du haut). francais Bouchon de conversion gaz CONTRÔLE FINAL Veiller à exécuter plusieurs cycles complets pour assurer une exploitation correcte. Pendant ces cycles, le système électronique déterminera le chronométrage de séquence optimal d allumage. Position NG 1. STOP! Lire les informations de sécurité ci-jointes avant d agir. 2. Tourner le bouton de la soupape principale en position OFF, dans le sens complet des aiguilles d une montre. 3. Mettre le bouton ON/OFF (si dans l équipement) sur le O (position OFF). 4. Aattendre cinq (5) minutes pour débrancher le gaz. Vérifier qu il n y a pas de gaz dans la zone autour de l installation, y compris au niveau du sol. Si vous détectez du gaz, arretez l installation! Observer la rubrique «Que faire en cas d odeur de gaz» aux informations de sécurité (page 24). Si aucun gaz n est présent, veuillez procéder selon les instructions de service Mertik Maxitrol pour l installation. Le niveau minimal peut être réglé soit en effectuant un vissage sur la vis de niveau minimal calibrée (orifice fixé), soit sur une vis de niveau minimal réglable. Les commandes avec des vis ajustables sans réglage spécifique pour le client sont réglés à l usine au flux maximal. 3. Cet appareil répond à la partie 15 des règlementations FCC. Télécommande Aappuyer simultanément sur les boutons Off et (grande flamme) jusqu à ce qu un bip confirme que la séquence de démarrage a commencé; relâcher les boutons. Pendant le fonctionnement normal, l électrovanne est réinitialisée à la position ON lorsque le GV60 est mis en OFF à distance. Burner Off AUX Lorsque l allumage est démarré, le brûleur principal et le brûleur décoratif sont sur ON. Appuyer simultanément sur les boutons SET et (petite flamme) pour mettre les brûleurs en position OFF. Les instructions imprimées se trouvent sur le couvercle du compartiment à piles (voir figure 24). Aappuyer simultanément sur les boutons SET et (grande flamme) pour mettre le brûleur en position ON. (Le symbole AUX à l écran indique que la soupape à électroaimant est OUVERTE.) Le bouton possède une griffe qui s enclipse jusqu à ce que les arrêts d extrémité soient atteints. Le bouton MANUEL en position MAN permet d accéder à un élément de manoeuvre manuelle de la soupape de veilleuse et à un allumeur piézo (en option). 8. Enfoncer complètement l élément de manoeuvre manuelle de la soupape de veilleuse en le gardant enfoncé pour démarrer le flux du gaz de la veilleuse (voir figure 25, page 43). allumage avec une allumette: allumer immédiatement la veilleuse avec une allumette en continuant de maintenir l élément de manoeuvre manuelle de la soupape de veilleuse pendant environ une (1) minute après que la veilleuse soit allumée. Relâcher l élément de manoeuvre manuelle de la soupape de veilleuse. Si la veilleuse ne reste pas allumée, attendre cinq (5) minutes et répéter l opération. allumage avec allumeur piézo: Remplacer le câble d allumage du récepteur vers la soupape (voir la figure 25, page 43). Appuyer sur l allumeur piézo pour allumer. Si la veilleuse ne reste pas allumée, attendre cinq (5) minutes et répéter l opération. AVERTISSEMENT Si la veilleuse ne reste pas allumée après plusieurs essais, mettre le bouton de la soupape principale en position OFF et passer à l étape si cette opération est applicable, remplacer le panneau d accès à la veilleuse avant d agir. 10. Raak geen elektrische schakelaars aan en gebruik geen telefoon in het gebouw. Ga naar de buren en bel van daaruit direct het gasbedrijf. Volg de instructies van het gasbedrijf op. Als het gasbedrijf niet bereikbaar is, belt u de brandweer. Laat installatie en onderhoud over aan een gekwalificeerde installateur, onderhoudsbedrijf of het gasbedrijf. De installatie moet voldoen aan de plaatselijke verordeningen, of bij afwezigheid daarvan, aan de National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 of de International Fuel Gas Code of CSA B Alle buizen en leidingen moeten aan de plaatselijke voorschriften en normen voldoen. nederlands Verdraai of druk de gasregelknoppen alleen in met uw hand. Het product moet volgens alle plaatselijke voorschriften worden geïnstalleerd en bediend. WAARSCHUWING De toestelfabrikant dient te bepalen of de GV60 voor een bepaalde toepassing geschikt is. WAARSCHUWING Verwijder geen schroeven uit de gasklep. Wijzig en/of stel geen onderdelen met speciale lak/verf bij; de motorknop mag niet worden verwijderd. GASAANSLUITINGEN WAARSCHUWING Brand- of explosiegevaar. Kan materiële schade, ernstig of dodelijk letsel veroorzaken. Buig de buis niet op het aansluitpunt van de gasklep nadat de knelkoppeling is vastgedraaid. Er kan dan gaslekkage op het aansluitpunt ontstaan. WAARSCHUWING Gebruik een nieuwe, goed geruimde leiding zonder metaal- of materiaalschilfers. Wordt een buis gebruikt, dan moeten de uiteinden vierkant, afgebraamd en schoon zijn. Alle buisbochten moeten glad en niet vervormd zijn. WAARSCHUWING 1. Ssluit de gastoevoer bij de toestelkraan af voordat u met de installatie begint en voer na afloop een gaslektest uit. 2. installeer het sedimentfilter (waar nodig) in de gastoevoerleiding om vervuiling van de gasklep te voorkomen (zie afb. 9). 3. Verdraai of druk de gasregelknoppen alleen in met uw hand. Nooit met gereedschap. Repareer geen knop die niet met de hand kan worden ingedrukt of verdraaid; bel een gekwalificeerde onderhoudsmonteur. Bij geweld of reparatiepogingen vervalt de garantie en kan brand of explosie ontstaan. Plaats Plaats de combi-gasklep waar deze niet wordt blootgesteld aan reinigingsstoom, hoge vochtigheid, druppelwater, corrosieve chemicaliën, stof- of vetophoping of overmatige hitte. Volg deze richtlijnen voor de juiste werking: Installeer de combi-gasklep in een goed geventileerde ruimte. Monteer de combi-gasklep hoog genoeg om blootstelling aan overstroming of spattend water te voorkomen. Zorg dat de omgevingstemperatuur de nominale omgevingstemperatuur van elk onderdeel niet overschrijdt. Bij het vastdraaien van de schroeven moet de klep op de aangewezen klempunten worden vastgehouden (zie afb. 10). Oefen geen druk uit op het bovenste gietstuk of kunststofdeksel. 52 INSTALLATIEHANDLEIDING uitsluitend voor OEM-gebruik Hoofdgasaansluiting (buisverbindingen) 1. Gebruik geen leidingverbindingskit of Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. Schuif moer en flensbusje over de buis. 3. Schuif moer en flensbusje op hun plaats en steek de buis tot aan de aanslag in de inlaat-/uitlaatverbinding. Draai handvast aan. 4. Draai de moer vervolgens met een sleutel ca. 1 slag aan. WAARSCHUWING Draai de verbindingen niet te strak vast. Daardoor kan het regelaarhuis worden beschadigd, waardoor lekkage of storing ontstaat. Hoofdgasaansluiting (leidingverbindingen) 1. Gebruik geen Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. De leiding die in de klep wordt gestoken, moet de juiste schroefdraadlengte en -maat hebben. Een te lang gesneden schroefdraad kan vervorming of storing veroorzaken als deze er te diep wordt ingestoken. 3. Breng een ruime hoeveelheid goedgekeurd leidingafdichtmiddel op de leiding aan, maar niet op de twee eindschroefdraden. 4. Sluit de leiding aan op de klepinlaat en -uitlaat. GASLEKTEST UITVOEREN 1. Ccontroleer zorgvuldig op gaslekken direct nadat de klep is geïnstalleerd en het gas is ingeschakeld. Doe dit altijd voordat u het toestel of ander gasverbrandingsapparaat gebruikt. 2. Breng met een schone borstel een goedgekeurde lektestoplossing aan op de buis- en leidingverbindingen. Luchtbellen wijzen op een lek. 3. Aals geen lekkage wordt vastgesteld, ontsteekt u de hoofdbrander. 4. Breng, als de hoofdbrander brandt, een goedgekeurde lektestoplossing aan op alle buis- en leidingverbindingen (inclusief adapters) en de klepinlaat en -uitlaat. Luchtbellen wijzen op een lek. 5. Wordt een lek vastgesteld, dan moeten de leidingverbindingen (inclusief adapters) worden aangedraaid (zie Gasaansluitingen (pag. 49, 50). WAARSCHUWING Er mag geen enkele lekkage voorkomen, anders bestaat er afhankelijk van de omstandigheden brand- of explosiegevaar. Nooit gebruiken als lekkage wordt vastgesteld. nederlands WAARSCHUWING Draai de verbindingen niet te strak vast. Daardoor kan het regelaarhuis worden beschadigd, waardoor lekkage of storing ontstaat. Gasaansluiting aansteekbrander (buisverbindingen) 1. Gebruik geen leidingverbindingskit of Teflon /PTFE tape. 2. schuif de koppeling over de buis. 3. Ssteek de aansteekbranderbuis tot aan de aanslag in de aansteekbranderuitlaat. Draai de koppeling handvast. 4. Verdraai deze met een sleutel totdat het flensbusje afbreekt. Draai deze nog een kwartslag voor een gasdichte afsluiting. 5. Sluit het andere buisuiteinde aan op de aansteekbrander. WAARSCHUWING De hoofdgasklep moet tijdens druktesten van het gastoevoervoersysteem bij een testdruk van meer dan ½ psi (3,5 kpa CSA; 50 mbar) van het gastoevoersysteem worden afgesloten. 53 INSTALLATIEHANDLEIDING uitsluitend voor OEM-gebruik DRAADAANSLUITINGEN (zie afb , pag ) LET OP De bedrading van klep en ontvanger moet zijn voltooid voordat de brander wordt ontstoken. Anders kan de elektronica worden beschadigd. Sluit alle onderdelen aan volgens het betreffende bedradingsschema. als de netadapter wordt gebruikt, kunnen de batterijen als reserve dienen (alleen RF). 2. Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) in de stand AAN. 3. De ontvanger moet de handsetcode leren: Druk en houd de resetknop van de ontvanger (afb. 11, pag. 52) ingedrukt totdat u twee (2) pieptonen hoort. Laat de resetknop na de tweede, langere pieptoon los. Druk binnen 20 seconden op de knop (kleine vlam) op de handset totdat u twee korte pieptonen hoort; de code is dan ingesteld. Zorg bij de installatie van GV60-onderdelen dat zij niet worden blootgesteld aan stof, olie, vet of andere chemische stoffen. Voorkom vreemde voorwerpen onder het kunststofdeksel. Monteer de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) op een voor de gebruiker goed toegankelijke plaats. Thermokoppelcircuit Voor een goede werking moet de totale weerstand van het thermokoppelcircuit tot een minimum worden beperkt. LET OP Het gebruik van het Mertik Maxitrol onderbrekerblok wordt aanbevolen. Houd de verbinding tussen onderbrekerblok en thermokoppel schoon en droog. Buig de thermokoppelbuis tijdens de installatie niet overmatig (min. 1 radius; 2,5 cm) anders kan deze onherstelbaar worden beschadigd. Bevestig het onderbrekerblok in de klep. ¼ slag verder dan handvast. Schuif de kabels in het plastic inzetstuk. Schuif het plastic inzetstuk, inclusief kabels, in het messing onderbrekerblok. Bevestig het thermokoppel terwijl u het plastic inzetstuk en de kabels op hun plek houdt. Draai deze ¼ tot ½ slag verder dan handvast. Ontstekingskabel opm: Dit hoeft u slechts één keer in te stellen en dus niet als u de batterijen in de handset of ont vanger vervangt. 4. Ccontroleer de ontvangst. Verplaats, indien nodig, de antenne voor een betere ontvangst. 5. Aals de RF-ontvanger in het toestel wordt geplaatst, kan het omliggende metaal de ontvangst aanzienlijk verslechteren. Ook de stand van de antenne op de ontvanger beïnvloedt de ontvangst. LET OP De antenne mag de ontstekingskabel niet kruisen of aanraken. De ontvanger kan dan niet worden gebruikt. IR-versies Zet het infrarode oog op een geschikte plaats. Voor de overdracht van het infraroodsignaal is een gezichtslijn nodig. Als de kabel op zijn plaats zit, moet contact met scherpe voorwerpen of randen worden voorkomen. Vermijd bij kabels langer dan 900 mm contact met metalen onderdelen omdat dit de vonken nadelig beïnvloedt. Ontvanger LET OP Om stof, vuil en vocht op de ontvanger te voorkomen, moet de ontvanger pas uit de plasticzak worden verwijderd nadat alle werkzaamheden zijn uitgevoerd. 1. Plaats de batterijen of sluit de ontvanger aan op een wisselstroom-netadapter. De module voor de circulatieventilator/lichtdimmer omvat een netadapter. V Module Een LED geeft aan dat de stroom is ingeschakeld. Installeer netsnoer, ventilator en licht met de Molex-aansluiting volgens het bedradingsschema, (afb. 12, pag. 53) of verbind de draden met de kernkabeluiteinden met de schroefaansluitingen. V Module met schroefaansluitingen: max. AWG 12/2,5 mm 2 (afb. 12, pag. 53). Sluit eerst het licht en de ventilator en dan pas de netvoeding aan. Hoofdklep ON (AAN) Laat hoofdgas door de klep stromen als de aansteekbrander brandt en het thermokoppel voldoende stroom levert. Hand-knop De aansteekbrander kan met MAN de hand worden ontstoken (HAND-MAen de gasstroom kan worden TIG) geblokkeerd. Hand-knop ON (AAN) Voor automatische ontsteking. Afstelling WAARSCHUWING De toestelfabrikant dient te bepalen of de GV60 voor een bepaalde toepassing geschikt is. WAARSCHUWING Probeer geen schroeven uit de bovenkant van de gasklep te draaien. Wijzig geen standen die met speciale lak/verf zijn gemarkeerd; de motorknop mag niet worden verwijderd. De waakvlam moet 3/8 tot 1/2 (10 tot 13 mm) van het thermokoppel beslaan alleen geventileerd (zie afb. 17). 1. De stelschroef is bereikbaar via een gat in de HAND-knop (zie afb. 16). 2. Draai de HANDknop in de stand ON (AAN). OPM.: Bij smoorklepmodellen wordt de druk verhoogd door de schroef linksom te draaien of verlaagd door deze rechtsom te draaien. 4. Breng na afstelling de dop weer aan. 5. Ssluit, als geen andere afstellingen nodig zijn, de drukmeetpunten door de schroeven helemaal rechtsom te draaien. controleer alle aansluitingen/drukmeetpunten op lekkage. 6. Aals de gewenste uitlaatdruk of -debiet niet kan worden bereikt door afstelling van de gasklep, controleert u de inlaatdruk van de gasklep met een manometer bij het inlaatdrukmeetpunt van de klep. Vervang de gasklep als de inlaatdruk binnen het normale bereik ligt; stel anders de juiste gasdruk in naar de klep. Omschakelbare drukregelaar Omschakelbare drukregelaars zijn ontworpen om met één van twee ingestelde, afgegeven drukken te werken voor 57 / 65

60 INSTALLATIEHANDLEIDING uitsluitend voor OEM-gebruik aardgas (NG) of propaangas (LPG). Om van gassoort te wisselen moet u de omschakelplug tegen de klok in er uit draaien. (Afb. 19). Klik het plastic onderdeel los, draai deze 180, en plaats deze terug op de omschakelplug tot hij vast klikt. Draai de omschakelplug er tot de aanslag in. Raak de kleine roodgelakte schroef niet aan. Omschakelbare drukregelaar de drukregelaar worden geblokkeerd door de stelschroef van de drukregelaar helemaal naar onderen te draaien (of de stelschroef van de smoorklep helemaal naar boven te draaien). EINDCONTROLE Laat het toestel diverse cycli doorlopen om de goede werking te controleren. Tijdens deze cycli zal de elektronica de optimale duur van de ontstekingsvolgorde bepalen. 1. STOP! Lees de veiligheidsinformatie voordat u doorgaat. 2. Draai de hoofdklepknop in de stand OFF (UIT), helemaal rechtsom. 3. Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) in de stand O (UIT). 4. Wacht vijf (5) minuten om al het gas te verwijderen. Controleer of er geen gas meer rondom het toestel aanwezig is, ook bij de vloer. Als u gas vaststelt, stop dan! Volg Wat moet u doen als u gas ruikt in de veiligheidsinformatie (pag. 46). Als geen gas aanwezig is, ga dan door met de Mertik Maxitrol bedieningshandleiding. NG stand WAARSCHUWING nederlands LP stand 180 Brand- of explosiegevaar. Demontage of reparatiepogingen kunnen materiële schade, ernstig of dodelijk letsel veroorzaken. Demonteer de gasklep niet; het bevat geen onderdelen die moeten worden onderhouden. Afb. 19: Wisselen van gassoort Afstelling minimumgasdebiet (Alleen geventileerde toestellen) 1. Zet de regelaar in de lage stand door de motorknop in de stand OFF (UIT) te zetten en wacht totdat de klep opent. 2. Het minimumdebiet kan worden ingesteld door een gekalibreerde minimumdebietschroef (vaste opening) of een instelbare minimumdebietschroef erin te draaien. Regelaars met instelbare schroeven zonder een door de klant gespecificeerde instelling worden in de fabriek op het maximumdebiet ingesteld. 3. Draai de schroef rechtsom om het minimum debiet te verlagen. 4. Draai de schroef voorzichtig in de vaste opening todat deze stopt. 5. Ssluit de drukmeetpunten door de schroeven helemaal rechtsom te draaien. Controleer alle aanslui tingen/ drukmeetpunten op lekkage. Van brandstof veranderen (Alleen bij geventileerde toestellen) GV60 is geschikt voor alle gassoorten en kan worden aangepast aan de eisen van de fabrikant voor een specifiek soort gas. Voor de afstelling van de drukregelaar, het minimumdebiet en de waakvlam wordt naar de bovengenoemde instructies verwezen. Om op LPG CE over te schakelen, moet 2011 Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. 61 BEDIENINGSHANDLEIDING uitsluitend voor OEM-gebruik ALGEMENE OPMERKINGEN Radiofrequentie handset MHz voor Europa; 315 MHz voor de VS (FCC ID: RTD-G6R) en voor Canada (IC: 4943A-G6R). Dit apparaat voldoet aan deel 15 van de FCC-voorschriften. Het gebruik ervan is aan de volgende twee voorwaarden onderhevig: (1) dit apparaat mag geen schadelijke storing veroorzaken, en (2) dit apparaat moet alle ontvangen storingen accepteren, inclusief storingen die ongewenste gevolgen kunnen hebben. Bij niet uitdrukkelijk door de regelgevende instantie goedgekeurde veranderingen of wijzigingen kan de bedieningsbevoegdheid van het apparaat vervallen. LET OP De bedrading van klep en ontvanger moet zijn voltooid voordat de brander wordt ontstoken. Anders kan de elektronica worden beschadigd. LET OP De handsets, ontvangers, wandschakelaars, schakelpanelen en touchpads zijn niet uitwisselbaar metvorige elektronica (zie afb. 21). Bij andere adapters kunt u systeem wellicht niet gebruiken. Radiofrequentie handset Een code wordt automatisch geselecteerd voor alle Mertik Maxitrol electronica uit ca willekeurige, beschikbare codes. De ontvanger moet de code van de handset inleren: Druk op en houd de resetknop van de receiver (Zie afb. 22) ingedrukt totdat u twee (2) pieptonen hoort. De eerste pieptoon is kort en de tweede is lang. Laat de resetknop na de tweede pieptoon los. Druk binnen 20 seconden op de knop (kleine vlam) op de handset totdat u twee extra korte pieptonen hoort; de code is dan ingesteld. Als u een lange pieptoon hoort, beteketn dit dat de code-inleervolgorde is mislukt of dat de bedrading onjuist is. OPM.: Dit hoeft u slechts één keer in te stellen en dus niet als u de batterijen in de handset of ontvanger vervangt. nederlands De module voor ventilatortoerentalregeling en licht/dimmer omvat een netvoeding samen met batterijen in de ontvanger voor automatische back-up bij een stroomstoring. Draai de HANDknop in de stand ON (AAN), helemaal linksom. Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) in de stand I (ON (AAN)). Handset Druk op OFF (UIT). Afstelling vlamhoogte Handset In Standby-modus: Druk op en houd de knop (grote vlam) ingedrukt om de vlam te verhogen. Druk op en houd (kleine vlam) ingedrukt om de vlam te verkleinen of het toestel op de waakvlam in te stellen. Voor de fijnafstelling klikt u op vlam) of (kleine vlam). Als de batterij leeg is, blijft deze in de laatste stand staan. Tijdens normaal gebruik zal de magneetklep naar de stand ON (AAN) terugkeren als de GV60 op afstand wordt UITgeschakeld. Brander OFF (UIT) AUX Na ontsteking zijn de hoofd- en sfeerbrander AAN. Druk tegelijkertijd op SET (INSTELLEN) en (kleine vlam) om de brander UIT te schakelen. Instructies vindt u op het batterijdeksel (zie afb. 24). Ddruk tegelijkertijd op SET (INSTELLEN) en (grote vlam) om de brander IN te schakelen. (Het AUX-symbool op de display geeft aan dat de magneetklep OPEN is.) OPM.: Het gebruik van AUX is in de timer- Off-modus geblokkeerd, als de instelling van de nachtverlagingstemperatuur is. Bediening van licht/dimmer Licht/dimmer Druk SET (INSTELLEN) kort in om naar de (gloeilamp)modus te gaan. Het gloeilamppictogram knippert. druk op en houd (grote vlam) ingedrukt om het licht IN te schakelen of de helderheid te verhogen. Druk op en houd de knop (kleine vlam) ingedrukt om de helderheid te verlagen. In de Licht/dimmermodus wordt het licht met de knop OFF (UIT) uitgeschakeld. Om het licht zonder vlam in te schakelen, drukt u op en houdt u (kleine vlam) ingedrukt en schakelt u over naar de waakvlam. OPM.: Het gloeilamppictogram verschijnt alleen tijdens de licht-/dimmerinstelling. 8 seconden nadat het licht/de dimmer zijn ingesteld, zal de handset automatisch op de temperatuurregelmodus (CSA-versie) of handbedieningsmodus (CE-versie) overschakelen. Brander ON (AAN) Bediening van de circulatieventilator Circulatieventilator De circulatieventilator heeft 4 toerentalstanden: van laag (1 bar) naar hoog (4 bar). Druk SET (INSTELLEN) kort in om naar de (ventilator)modus te gaan. De ventilator- en toerentalstandpictogrammen knipperen. Druk op (grote vlam) om de ventilator in te schakelen en het toerental te verhogen. Druk op (kleine vlam) om het toerental te verlagen. TIMER Timer-modus (toestel moet in de standby-modus staan; waakvlam ontstoken): De timers P1 en P2 (Programma 1, Programma 2) kunnen elk zo worden geprogrammeerd dat zij op specifieke tijdstipen worden IN- en UITgeschakeld. Voor instructies zie de Timerprogrammeermodus. OPM.: De display toont elke 30 seconden de ingestelde temperatuur. Instelling C/24-uur- of F/12-uur-klok MAN Handbedieningsmodus Handmatige afstelling van de vlamhoogte. Druk op (kleine vlam) om de minuten in te stellen. Druk op OFF (UIT) of wacht totdat de handbedieningsmodus is bereikt. Instelmodus voor circulatieventilator: schakelt de circulatieventilator AAN en UIT en regelt het toerental. OPM.: Om de ventilator UIT te schakelen, drukt u op (kleine vlam) totdat alle 4 toerentalbalken verdwijnen. TEMP Nachtverlagingstemperatuurmodus (toestel moet in de standby-modus staan; waakvlam ontstoken): De kamertemperatuur wordt gemeten en vergeleken met de nachtverlagingstemperatuur. CE: De dag begint om 00:00, en eindigt om 23:50. CSA: De dag begint om 12:00 am, en eindigt om 11:50 pm. De tijden moeten in deze volgorde geprogrammeerd worden P1 P1 < P2 P2. Bij P1 = P1 of P2 = P2 wordt de timer uitgeschakeld. Gebruik de volgende instelling om s nachts vuur te hebben: ce: P2 23:50 en P1 0:00 csa: P2 11:50 am en P1 12:00 am nederlands Selecteer Timermodus door kort op SET (INSTELLEN) te drukken. P1 (maan) verschijnt en de tijd knippert. Stel het uur in door op drukken. Stel de minuten in door op te drukken. (grote vlam) te (kleine vlam) Instelling P2 AAN tijd Druk kort op SET (INSTELLEN) om naar instelling P2 AAN tijd te gaan. P2 (zon) verschijnt en de tijd knippert. Zie instructies INSTELLING P1 AAN TIJD. Instelling P2 UIT tijd Druk kort op SET (INSTELLEN) om naar instelling P2 UIT tijd te gaan. P2 (maan) verschijnt en de tijd knippert. Zie instructies INSTELLING P2 UIT TIJD. Timers P1 en P2 zijn nu geprogrammeerd. Druk op OFF (UIT). De zal uw wijzigingen automatisch opslaan. Toegang tot de aansteekbrander is alleen nodig voor ontsteking met een lucifer. Oefen bij het verdraaien van de hoofdklepkop geen overmatige kracht uit. De knop heeft een slipkoppeling die klikt totdat de eindaanslagen worden bereikt. Daardoor kunnen de vlamhoogte en de waakvlam-standby-stand handmatig worden ingesteld. 1. STOP! Lees de veiligheidsinformatie voordat u doorgaat. 2. Draai de hoofdklepknop in de stand OFF (UIT), helemaal rechtsom. 3. Draai de HANDknop in de stand MAN (HANDMATIG), helemaal rechtsom. 4. Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) in de stand O (OFF (UIT)). 5. Wacht vijf (5) minuten om al het gas te verwijderen. Controleer of er geen gas meer rondom het toestel aanwezig is, ook bij de vloer. Als u gas vaststelt, STOP dan! Volg WAT MOET U DOEN ALS U GAS RUIKT in de veiligheidsinformatie op pagina 45. Als er geen gas aanwezig is, gaat u door naar stap Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (indien aanwezig) in de stand I (ON (AAN)). 7. Met de HANDknop in de stand MAN (HANDMATIG) zijn een handmatige waakvlamklepregelaar en piëzoontsteking (optie) toegankelijk. 8. Druk de handmatige waakvlamklepregelaar helemaal omlaag en houd deze ingedrukt om de waakvlamgasstroom te starten (zie afb. 25, pag. 65). Ontsteking met lucifer: Ontsteek de waakvlam direct met een lucifer en houd de handmatige waakvlamregelaar ingedrukt tot ca. (1) minuut nadat de waakvlam is ontstoken. Laat de handmatige waakvlamklepregelaar dan los. Als de waakvlam uitgaat, wacht dan vijf (5) minuten en herhaal dit. Ontsteking met piëzo-ontsteking: Verplaats de ontstekingskabel van de ontvanger naar de klep (zie afb. 25, pag. 64). Druk de piëzo-ontsteking in. Als de waakvlam uitgaat, wacht dan vijf (5) minuten en herhaal dit. WAARSCHUWING Als de waakvlam na diverse pogingen uitgaat, moet u de gasregelknop (hoofdklepknop) op OFF (UIT) zetten en doorgaan naar stap Breng, waar van toepassing, het waakvlamtoegangspaneel weer aan voordat u doorgaat. 10. Draai de HANDknop in de stand ON (AAN), helemaal linksom. 11. Draai de HANDknop in de stand ON (AAN), helemaal linksom. 12. als het toestel niet werkt, volgt u de instructies onder Gas naar TOEstel uitschakelen (pag. 65) Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. Aals de gasregelaar toegankelijk is, draai de hoofdklepknop in de stand OFF (UIT), helemaal rechtsom. 3. Breng het toesteltoegangsdeksel (indien van toepassing) weer aan. Piëzo-ontsteking (optie) AAN/UITschakelaar (optie) in ON (AAN) stand 8-draads ontvangercontact Aansluiting Piëzo-ontsteking Opening 2,8 x 0,8 mm HANDknop in MAN stand Handmatige waakvlamklepregelaar AUTOMATISCHE VERLAGING 6 uur geen communicatie (CSA-versie) Handbedieningsmodus/Temperatuur/Timermodus: De klep schakelt de vlam naar de waakvlam als de vlamhoogte gedurende 6 uur niet is gewijzigd. In de Temperatuur/Timer-modus zal de vlamhoogte, bij verandering van de kamertemperatuur, automatisch worden aangepast om de ingestelde temperatuur te behouden en de vlam zal normaal blijven branden. De klep schakelt de vlam over naar de waakvlam als de ingestelde temperatuur en de kamertemperatuur gedurende 6 uur onveranderd blijven. ontvanger OVERVERHIT (alleen voor moduleversies) De klep schakelt de vlam over naar de waakvlam als de temperatuur in de ontvanger hoger is dan 140 F (60 C). De hoofdbrander gaat alleen weer branden als de temperatuur daalt tot onder 140 F (60 C).
