Important Information & Installation Instructions VDSL (Analog) Dear Netstream customer Your Pirelli VDSL router has been preconfigured with the following settings: LAN IP Adress of the Pirelli router: 192.168.1.1 Username/Password of the Pirelli router: admin/dsl login password Wireless-LAN protection: WPA1 and WPA2* Wireless-LAN password: DSL login password** Wireless-LAN name (SSID): OPENRG-802.11N Pirelli router mode: PPPoE Modus*** * Wireless-LAN is deactivated by default. To enable your wireless connection press the button on the front of the Pirelli router. ** You can find your DSL login credentials on the ADSL settings sheet sent to you by mail with your initial ADSL order. *** Your DSL login credentials are already configured on the Pirelli router. Once connected the router will automatically be assigned a public IP address. If you are using a firewall for the PPPoE connection the Pirelli router has to be set to bridge over PTM mode. The warranty for the Pirelli modem is valid for 1 year.
Connectivity VDSL Installation (Analog) Please follow this manual to install your VDSL-line. Step 1 Connecting the router to a power source Connect your router to a wall socket using the included power adapter. Press the power button located on the side of the Router. Use your current ADSL filter! In most cases you can continue using your existing ADSL filter. Simply plug the telephone cable out from your old ADSL modem/router and plug the cable into the port labeled "" on the Pirelli router. If you have connected the cable correctly the "Globe" symbol on the front of the router should light up either red or white (see picture). It may take up to 10 minutes for the globe to light up either red or white. If this is the case you may skip steps 2, 3 and 4 and proceed directly to step 5 (Connecting to your computer). Step 2 Connecting the router to the splitter Plug the included RJ-11 telephone cable (grey) into the port labeled "" on your router. Plug the other end of the cable into port labeled "Modem" (black) on your VDSL Splitter. MODEM VDSL Splitter LINE PHONE
Step 3 Connecting the splitter to the telephone socket & and landline telephone MODEM VDSL Splitter LINE PHONE Remove the old ADSL filter. Remove the front cover of the new VDSL splitter. Connect a telephone cable from your wall telephone socket to the splitter to the port labeled "line" (red). The existing landline devices, like phones and fax machines, can be connected to the splitter on the port labeled "phone" (green). Check if the phones/fax machines work. Step 4 Verify the connection Verify if the "Globe" symbol is constantly red or white (see picture). It may take up to 10 minutes for the globe to light up either red or white. Step 5 Connect Computer Connect a computer you'd like to use for the internet connection to the router. You can now access the internet using your Pirelli VDSL router.

Schritt 2 Router mit Splitter verbinden Schliessen Sie das mitgelieferte RJ-11 Telefon-Kabel (hellgrau) an den Router Anschluss (hellgrau). Schritt 3 Splitter mit Telefonsteckdose & Festnetz-Telefon verbinden MODEM VDSL Splitter LINE PHONE Entfernen Sie den alten ADSL Filter. Entfernen Sie den Frontdeckel des VDSL Splitters. Verbinden Sie nun die Telefonsteckdose Ihres Hausanschlusses mit einem Telefonkabel an den Splitter Anschluss Line (rot). Bestehende Festnetz Geräte wie Telefon oder Fax werden mit dem Splitter Anschluss Phone (grün) verbunden. Prüfen Sie die Funktion des Telefon/Fax. Schritt 4 Verbindung überprüfen Überprüfen Sie nun ob an der Vorderseite das Symbol Globus (siehe Bild) konstant rot oder weiss leuchtet (dies kann bis zu 10 Minuten dauern). Schritt 5 Computer anschliessen Verbinden Sie den Router nun mit dem Computer welchen Sie im neuen Netzwerk benutzen möchten. Sie können nun über den Pirelli VDSL Router auf das Internet zugreifen.
