Her research focuses mainly on arbitration and other modes of dispute resolution, as well as professional regulation and ethics. She is a co- editor of Revue d arbitrage et de mediation, member of RéForMA and member of the Canadian Bar Association s Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee. She has lectured at the Faculty of Law of Université de Sherbrooke, where she is an Associate Professor; the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto; the Faculty of Law of the University of Nevada (UNLV); and the Faculty of Law of Sassari (Italy). Professor Rigaud is a graduate of McGill University s Faculty of Law, where in 1992 she earned her B.C.L. and LL.B., and of the Faculty of Law of Université Paris XII, where she obtained her Doctoral Degree (with the highest honours). Before turning to the academic world, she practiced law during numerous years in Toronto, Zurich and Montreal. She has been a member of the Bar of Upper Canada (Ontario) since 1995 and of the Barreau du Québec since 2003.
